Three fingers moving gesture is really huge game changer, thank you!
dude that 3 finger drag comes in clutch
As always, it was a a pleasure creating with you again, Serge! You're an incredibly nice guy and a really talented editor and teacher. I don't think I'm alone in wanting to thank you for everything you'd done for the FCP community 👊🏼
very true!
You’re so over my head. But I learn ( and remember) one great tip each video!
The three fingers was a gamr changer, thanks mate
tip #3 is THE game changer
The sound effect one will be huge for me thanks!
Damn the first one alone is like a 10 in one !!! 🙋🏻♂️😍
Yup. Pure gold!
Thank you!! Especially the 3 finger drag. What a life changer this is.
I like the delivery. I usually get bored with these videos but not yours. Thank you
Exactly what I was looking for on the Sound Effect folder!!!! thanks guys. THUMBS UP!!!!
That sound FX tip is top notch. Can we do that same thing with clips we want to keep like an end screen for CZcams?
Two of the best to do it! Thanks Serge and Dylan!
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching, Mike 👊🏼
These were quite helpful! Thank you Serge and Dylan for these tips. I appreciate it. 😊
Great tip on the alias sound effects folder! Love it
Great tips, thanks for sharing guys 👍🏻
Great stuff! Thanks for sharing!
went into the video thinking “click bait title and won’t be interesting” left the video having subscribed. Good stuff!
The first tip is phenomenal!!!!! I was wondering why FCPX did not have a filter for just showing what was NOT used in the timeline !!!
FINALLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!! THANK YOU FOR THAT. I didn't know this.. outstanding;.
Awesome tips! This channel is sooooo valuable! And Dylan just got another sub.
Thanks so much, Joe!
really helpful ...thank u guys 🙏
Loved this Serge thanks for the great tips!
Aye that last one is amazing
OMG...adding the sound folder to FCPX is a WONDERFUL tip! Thank you!!!
WOW! EXCELLENT TIPS! I sorta knew about some of them, but after watching your clear explanations, I’m excited to go try them out!
Great tutorial, Serge! Not all a secret to me anymore, but I really enjoyed the appearance of Dylan John. 😎
Good to see how you guys combine knowledge and the efforts to spread it here on CZcams to help others get better. Thanks! 🙏
Thanks a million for the support, GJ 🙏🏼
Bruh, so effing good thank you!
the three finger drag is a great callout but I promise you never in my life have I ever had to use both hands to drag anything. multiples fingers sure, one to hold the click and one to make the movement. maybe that's easier for some than others though.
Last tip was so helpful 🙏
I've been editing in FCP for over 15 years, and these were AWESOME tips, thanks for sharing!
my favorite thing to do is watch these "hidden tips" vids, coming into them thinking "there is absolutely no way they know something i don't about this program" and then being completely mind blown and humbled when i learn new stuff.
in this case, i was humbled by 3/4 haha. on that last one, i do a bit more of a "two finger drag" i click with my pointer finger, then place my middle finger on the track pad to drag
I think the way I used to do it with two hands was probably the hardest way possible. Lol
Great tutorials, clearly explained, down to the point, in explained in simple terms. ilWhy you don't have millions of subscribers boggles my mind. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!
Great tutorial!!!
Oh cool! Thanks! This was the first video suggested on Think Media's more beginner tips.
That's awesome
Amazing TIPs! Thank you !
Thank's Serge :)
Thanks Serge
BRILLIANT, THANKS !

Excellent tips
Very nice! I’m going to do the sound effects folder trick today! Thanks! -Ed
Thanks for watching Ed
Fantastic tips!
Thanks for doing this, I’m in the trenches with this stuff. Every little tip helps.
very useful thanks for video
SergeM thank you so much for these tips. Hope all is well with you.
Really really very very good tips 😲
Mucho Grazies!!!
Thank you for the tips, but if you use the 3 finger thing you never used the Magic Trackpad the right way 🤣
Press deep and slide, one finger. That’s ist!
great tips
Those are some good tips. I especially like that three-finger drag for my MacBook. I can’t believe that’s in accessibility! That should be a regular mouse option!
thanks a ton
Serge - love the tips and channel. Do you have recommendation or a strong opinion about headphones for editing videos? Are my apple AirPods good enough or should I pull the trigger on something better. I don't edit everyday, But though I would ask a pro to see if I might be missing out on something.
Great tips, didn’t know about the SFX folder! How do you keep that organised if you have hundreds of files inside? Do you have separate folders per categories?
Top stuff man...
Tips Show !
Wow - didn't know about the diff kinds of transition options
Bro I need those keyboard stickers 05:44
Tq sir
This three finger dragging is great, but I’ve always used three fingers to swipe between apps
Nice, thanks for sharing. I noticed you had an awesome looking keyboard in one of the clips, would you care to share details?
@EditorsKeys gifted that to me. It’s a genuine apple wireless keyboard labeled with FCP keyboard shortcuts

Hi Serge, First time editor with a quick question? BTW, Enjoy your channel and have learned much. I have a right to left pan shot of a truck driving on a city street passing buildings. There are no clouds in the sky. I'm trying to add a nice sky with clouds above. My problem is when I add the clouds, the clouds move from right to left with the truck. So my question is how to add the clouds and keep them Stationary above the buildings and not move with the truck? I'm using FCP and just added Apple Motion. Any help you could provide would be Greatly Appreciated! This seems like there should be an easy way to do this? I just haven't found it yet. Thank you, so Much!
You are too good. I wish I had watch your videos earlier 🙃. It would have been much easier for me to buy FCP.
My socks.. What have you done Dylan?
By far the best pet of the video 😂
Socks are but a thing of the past, Dylan.
@@dylanjohndickerson well that really socks bro.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
