Gone in 60 Seconds is a great car chase movie except this isn't Gone in 60 Seconds. That movie used a 73 Mustang and this is a totally different movie.
@Hagbard Celine That's fine just found it strange he had referenced that on this clip the way he did. That's all was just letting him know because the yellow Mustang in the clip is the same colour as Elenor.
Back then they were just everyday cars that go fast, not the classics they are today. Trashing them was not a big deal to the film studios, probably used dummy cars for Chase and crash scenes anyhow.

He said he can cover eight Western States every 12 days??? That must be the slowest mustang ever. I drove across country from San Diego to Virginia Beach in 5 days and I did it in a 70 Dodge Challenger stopping at hotels every night. But then again I didn't have a 454 cobra. I just had a little old 383 big block with a four-speed manual transmission.
@@deutschlander2004 1986, I drove 600 miles in 5 hours. Average speed was 120mph. When the hood was shaking so hard I thought it was going to rip off, I estimate 155mph. This in a 1974 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu. Stock small block 350/350TH automatic and 2.73 gearing. BFGoodrich radial TAs 275/60R15 on rally rims. And the 383 was a small block bored and stroked to the max. Not a big block.
@Thor Odin son The Ford FE engine block is already nearly bored and stroked to the maximum @428 c.i. Even .060. over bored its only 440 c.i. and at that point the cylinder walls are dangerously thin and won't last for more than one pass at a track. Hollywood is rarely accurate. Much like our mainstream media news outlets.

454 cobra!? The 454 was from GM. Did he mean 428 cobra jet? And what's with the Plymouth cop car? I didn't know a dented bumper and possibly cracked oil pan could cause spontaneous combustion. Also they do realize if you dragged a safe like that the asphalt would grind through the chain in like 500 feet. Thank you so much Car Chase Wonderland for editing down these terrible movies to just the good parts.😉👍
It's bad when all the breaks in police cruisers don't work all at once.. Dirty Mary crazy Larry is one of the best films with cars!! Two lane black top. Also, hot rod movie about a guy building an old Willy's coupe
A movie that had a 1968 Charger in it and they never used or wrecked it,amazing! Ditto for the 1969 Road Runner parked behind it! I would love those Plymouth Fury Cop Cars, stout 440's and even so I need one of those bulge hoods for a 1970 Sport Fury GT I am fixing up,it was hit years ago and they just put a 71 flat hood..They did find the correct rare grille, thats one good thing but I need a hood!
454 Cobra! They only made a limited number with that displacement in 1970 🤣🤣🤣 I wish I was alive for this era of cinema, it was just pure entertainment and not so serious.
WOW great fun movie 👍.. I grew up watching this movie in the mid 70s . I been looking to buy a DVD of this movie. Can you tell me where I can buy it? Thanks
Hm...the '70 Lincoln was retrofitted with a '72 hood ornament. Well, by '75 that could have been done with ease. After all, a lot of Lincoln owners were unamused with the deletion of the freestanding hood ornaments starting in '68; so some would compensate by buying hood ornaments from dealers and installing them on their cars. Then Lincoln reinstated hood ornaments in '72...but not as fancy and intimidating as the long-point throwing-stars of old. Here I am, talking Lincoln with Lynda Carter at her sexiest on my computer screen. See where my priorities lie...? I think the Lincolns of the early-'70s were good-looking cars...but they would have looked better had the engineers at least retained the clap-door configuration. They never should have ditched the clap-door configuration.
I had a Maverick Grabber with a 302. Never heard of a Mustang Grabber with a 454 Chevy engine. Almost as bad as the plug in Mustang hybrid from Birdemic.
Yes they had them basically the same deal as your Maverick . They were actually called Grabber Special Value all in the Grabber colors, c stripe, 302's mostly 2 barrel though in 70 they made 5,120
Bobby jo and the outlaw looks amazing film don't see no more these days all you see is murders killings shootings this world is not same ever like it was in 80s
Sounds more like a 351 cleveland... with hockey puck decals from a boss 302... .. still its a movie car... at least Linda Carter let the twins out.. not on you tube... thought it was bobbie jo and the outlaw though..
Lol, hilarious he's in a cruiser yet wearing a motorcycle helmet! I bet someone at the station nicked his campaign or soft hat and he was due out in five and grabbed his helmet in a hurry!
Why is the cop in the chase wearing a motorcycle helmet inside his car? lol But most importantly, Lynda has a few nude scenes in her career and they seem to be only from this movie. So enjoy!
Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry playlist here czcams.com/play/PLRVBF08HWBlsLr_UwTiOLTelBaDoLF4bg.html
You know it's going to be a good race when the cop is wearing a helmet while driving a car.
Ford never made a 454 Cobra he should have said 428 COBRA JET
John Wilkerson
He meant 455 hemi, those were fast.
Bruce Springsteen had a 396 with fuelie heads in that song racing in the streets.
@@MrTheHillfolk 🤔
The writes weren't car guys.
His other Mustang had a 426
Ford 428 bored out .015 is a 454.
The original Gone in 60 seconds was the ultimate car destruction movie of the 70's.
Some really nice muscle cars stolen and destroyed in that movie.

"454 COBRA" That's when you put a big block Chevy engine in a Ford. But you keep the Ford air cleaner on top. Lmao
🤣🤣🤣
I was like🤔454, that would piss off some cobra thugs 🤣
Now that’s called research! Lol
I think he was meaning to say 454 Big Block Ford (which is a stroked out 429).
Lol. That idiot didn't know what he had under the hood, so "Lyle" had to steal his car. Fair play in my book.....
It's great to see these old cars in action. Linda Carter too.
I remember seeing more Lynda. What a gorgeous creature. That is probably the model Mustang I like most.
100% natural and no tats. I love her eyes too.
The 70's actresses were a heart throb that won't be seen again.
I'm partial to the 69 front end more.
454 cobra,,,thats a rare one..had one in my 1979 plymouth gran torino
No such thing as a Plymouth Gran Torino 🤣 and why would a Ford engine be in a Plymouth

I would have to agree
But with car you could lots more a$$
Would have agreed 10 years ago. At my age, I think I'd take the cars.
9:59 Super rare Gentlemen Jim GMC truck! Very cool truck!
I noticed that, as well! Remember they had the Beau James model, as well? They were super rare as you said, I think only available from 1974-76?
No sir officer his had a 454 Cobra jet....mine has a 429 see!!!
God damn- do I love these kinds of car chase scenes…!!
Linda Carter?!?! Forget the car chases... 😍

I would say Lynda was the real "454 Cobra" She mag dumps a guy then gets out of the car and stretches like she just woke up from a nap. 😳
A "454 Cobra"? Come on guys and do your research, jeez... At least Lynda Carter was in this low budget bomb.
