I just noticed. At 5:48, you can see that the "edge" of the unfinished highway, was pasted over the shot of the Mustang landing. They had the Mustang jump a small ramp, through that "barrier", and land on the road. Then they pasted the image of the rebars and conduits and stuff, over the shot.

A 427 Ford would have the distributor in the front. Back in the late 60's into the 1970's, people would swap a 427 Rat into any car. Should have taken a hint from the yellow Camaro in Gumball Rally, and let the L-88 be its own soundtrack in downtown NYC
