Most important, honor the imminent & eschatological verses in the New Testament.
Read it from a fulfilled perspective in relation to our day.
To teach that the completeness of our salvation is still in the future is not only unnecessarily discouraging,

My brother died a year ago next month, I shed a tear for about a minute, and felt so much joy as God put it on my heart I have him with me. He had been saved for about 7 years. His wife said while he was unconscious he kept nodding his head as if he was talking to someone. I know to whom he was talking to and I know I will see him again.

The fact that a lot of my loved ones don't have a relationship with Jesus I continually try and tell them hell is forever!! It is hard to wrap our heads around but it is truth. My heart grieves for the lost and I will do whatever the Lord leads me to do in these last days. I feel the future will be bleak at times, but having our faith in Christ will carry us through.

I saw Mark and subbed! He's been one of my teachers since I got saved a while back. He's such a great teacher with sound teaching.
Truly the end is near. Jesus said he would come like a thief, so what Christians need to do now is to watch and pray. Although Jesus gave us a hint in Acts 2:19 “I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved”. Therefore, My family and I will remain vigilant while serving the living God who has blessed me with financial independence. God is amazing; adding $90k a month to my portfolio is a huge blessing to prosper His kingdom work. Lord, thank you. I have a grown married son who was raised in the gospel. He no longer believes, too. I pray for him and his wife and 2 children every day and that’s all we can do. Pray for the Lord to enlighten his mind with the truth. Pray for him to have experiences that will lead him to God, pray that friends will enter his life and bare testimony. Unfortunately he doesn’t want to hear it from me or his dad anymore. So sad. After all we can do, someday he will know….because “every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is the Christ”. I also believe that our sons will have a “last chance”,if you will, after they die. Jesus WANTs us to return. He knows our hearts and He is the inter mediator with the Father. I will add your son to my prayers. Bless you sister.

Greetings, great point you made. Taken in the scriptures is not what you want to happen, if you're the one taken. Most people taken in the scriptures ended up being slaves. Matthew 24 is a sermon preached by Christ to people standing in front of him, it applied to them. He told them that the temple would be destroyed. He told them when they see the armies coming to run. If you didn't run, you definitely were taken. As Christ said would happen in their lifetime, it did. your friend

The woman that rides the beast is in captivity at the time of John's vision, AFTER receiving the deadly wound from the (atheist) beast from the bottomless pit [Rev 11:7]. This is the beast of THE TIME of John's vision IN THE WILDERNESS.
(Meaning that John is in the wilderness in his vision and not physical on Patmos, and he sees a beast that would come up from out of this wilderness. Read Job 38:26.)
The 7th < "is not yet come"
At the time of John's vision *in the wilderness* this head of the beast was yet to come; this is *the beast from out of the earth* [Rev 13:11];
(And he shall exercise all of the power of the first beast...) when this beast will speak like a dragon.
This beast must continue a short time, as per the others before him.
I believe by the testimony of Jesus, that we are now living in that "short time".
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

--There are seven heads at the time of John's vision, five kings/heads/beast are fallen, so this eighth is of the seven kingdoms...."that was"...."and is not"...."yet is" AND received a deadly wound; AND his deadly wound was healed.
This wound is the loss of her (the woman/church that rides the beast.) temporal sword (also her captivity), which is the earthly secular world kingdom.
This is the image of the beast (that great city), who like Babylon of antiquity, who thinks to usurp church and state craft.
The number eight is a metaphor for the resurrection. The eighth is resurrected from a former head of the seven; the 5th head that received a deadly wound.
(When he shall go into perdition: this will be the final dispensation of this beast with seven heads, that is a metaphor for satan.)

by counting the letter values of the Greek transliteration;

In antiquity the mountain was not only a metaphor for a kingdom, but it was also symbolic of the head of a (river) dragon that was symbolic of a river that flows out from a mountain, after the spring thaw and overflowing its banks, spreading out in the form of the dragon's tail.
The color is scarlet because it is symbolic of the blood of the saints of the Lord.
A woman in prophecy is always a metaphor for a church, in this case (Jezebel) it is the fallen temple of God.
The false prophet, a lamb (Christ like) with two horns, and/but will speak like a dragon (a wolf in sheep's clothing), will be the beast (from out of the earth ... the USA) that will make an image unto the first beast from out of the sea, who received a deadly wound and his deadly wound was healed.
The two horns are a metaphor for two (equal) kingdoms in one, church and state craft.
Medo-Persia also is expressed as having two horns [Dan 8:3], but one was higher, (Persia) and eventually usurps the other.
This is the image of the first beast from out of the sea (Papal Rome). Once the wall of separation of church and state is lost, then will the second beast from out of the earth become the image of the first beast, who claims the authority of both church and state.

The world is nowhere near "coming to an end". We are on the brink of the Rapture/Resurrection and the Great Tribulation. After the Marriage supper with the Lamb of God, we who are in Heaven will return with Christ when he sets up His Millenial Reign in Jerusalem. At the end of the 1000 years will be the Great White Throne Judgement. And after that, will be the New Heavens and New Earth. There is no such thing as the end of the world.
