i remember watching the various Tenchi series years ago and bei g viscerally distressed when the next show would start and have nothing to do with the last. but then i was intrigued because it was like watching the creators top choices for the direction the show would take. or the original Aeon Flux! i think a show like Startrek would benifit from a bit of that freeform style since traditionally theres relatively little episode to episode arc.
I mean, on the one hand I get claims that its not important, but on the other hand I'm really only interested in buying comic books which are up-to-date. If a story doesn't have any impact on the larger comic universe landscape, I kind of view it as a wasted story, you get me?
See I am the opposite. I view the comic book universe and its canon as overwhelmingly huge. I would rather have that smaller self contained story with no impact on canon because then i am getting a complete story, where as i will never be able the get the complete story of the overwhelming canon which also has no end. This is why the only comics I own are superman red son and the original watchmen. Self contained stories

Diana of Themescrya has proven her worth as an Amazon -- protecting her homeland, her fellow sisters and the world at large -- which proved her worth and thus allowed her to meet the qualifications of the geas. She was worthy, thus she could lift Mjolnir and possess the power of Thor.

Just set the characters to balance out their counterpart in the game and make the blue bases actually look blue. Have the Super Rare/awards be the two brothers, Access, and maybe Specter and Living Tribunal. Okay... geeked out enough.
