This vid is the answer to my prayers. I'm 63 years old. Long ago, I was sick in bed and my Dad brought me some comics to pass the time. One of them was Iron Man #1. Or at least the intro of Iron Man, which I remember distinctly (his armor was much clunkier then). No, I don't still have it! Wish I did; I could probably sell it and retire.Anyway, for the last couple of weeks, I've been watching your vids and trying to catch up with all that's happened in the last 50 years or so! This one helps immensely, and I'll look forward eagerly to part 2 :-)

You should send videos to Marvel Studios to have them contract you to do voice overs or coherent synopsis' of the Marvel Universe.
I thought that awhile back too as well as Marvel heroes 2016 to do an explained video for each new hero they release. More than a few times one has came out and I came here to find the history of the character just out of curiosity.

Wow!.. I have to tell you I am a 30 year comic book veteran. I have owned some of the greatest silver age and some Gold here and there. I like DC Comics a lot but at the end of the day I will forever be a Marvel Fanboy till the day I die and I make sure that my children are too. lol. I dont force then but luckily its been that way and they love Marvel too. My point is this intro I thought was AMAZING. The music captivated me your editing is unbelievable. I have been a subscriber for a few years now and always look forward to these great masterpieces you do. The icing was when you did the sound bites of Stan THE MAN Lee. I have met him a few times and dread the day he joins the Comic book gods. I hope someone shows him this series so he can also see the love that you put into it. He truly did create with the help of The King Kirby, Ditko and so many others such an excellent universe. This was truly so good that you made me tear a bit in joy. My daughter asked me why are you crying and I said this awesome person here has nailed this great universe of ours that we enjoy with his baritone voice and always very accurate study and info of this world. Thank for all you do to entertain us. Peace!........

I don't understand why anyone, let alone over 140 people, would downvote this video (or any of the videos on this channel). This is really good content for comic book fans.
Because they aren't cic book fans. They are pop culture cancers who are just fake posers. You could convince them and a roll of toilet paper is the new hot item and they wouldn't second guess it
any other video i would agree, this had a 3 min super slow intro though. something i like about this one though is his slow pace and more relaxed speaking style in this one compared to most.
I am proud to be part of the Rob Core. I binged on your Homer like story telling abilities for a few weeks. Thanks for all you guys hard work. You and CBG19 have really brought me along with all you awesome content giving me a better grasp on story telling, the comic book universe, and information on artists. Your shows opened up a new kind of show I never new about. I look forward to many more.

I gotta binge watch your videos again bro, i use to think u went way too indepth with your videos, but listening to your newer comics I see exactly why you went so far indepth and did all these your video kind of build off each other so we get a full understanding of everything. Stan lee is still the founder of marvel but now most of the company makers write the comics. So yeah, not much of difference except the stan lee easter eggs in marvel studio movies.

This is the 2nd best video you've done, it was fantastic. it was second only to the franklin richards explanation as to how he dealt with the mad celestials / council of reeds / grandpa richards. Keep on this path of providing heartfelt connection to the marvel stories. You are 'marvel explained'. do you remember?
Also, the heart of the universe / thanos vid actually cleared up a large amount of confusion that I had with thanos + 'the power cosmic'. how'd it take so long to explain that? (rhetorical. not your problem. i am a researcher)

slifer875 In some Christian writings there's a theory that the God of Old Testament and New Testament are different beings entirely and the name that these theorists gave the Old Testament one is Demiurge. But that's just in layman's terms it goes deeper than that.

The living tribunal is essentially the hand of God (one above all)...he is essentially the physical depiction of God.

This series is almost like looking into the history of the human race... it's a scary education of something fiction YET.. possibly non-fiction
That's why I prefer Marvel over DC, with Marvel you don't have to suspend your disbelief cause they go into such detail that it almost feels like you are reading a history book or in layman's terms: Marvel is more believable
