Test Fitting an NPBoosted Intake Manifold on the S14 (SR20DET)

After deciding we needed a new intake manifold for the SR20DET "Notch Top" Engine in our S14, we bought one off of NPBoosted.com. These manifolds are typically sold on eBay and Amazon, but you can also purchase them direct from their website. We couldn't find any reviews, or install guides, or any real information on them, so we decided to take a risk and try it out for ourselves.
Check out this video if you're interested in swapping the stock intake manifold for a new, budget friendly inlet. We also cover the basics of how the stock intake manifold works, along with the coolant lines and vacuum lines on it.
There are definite pros and cons to this manifold, and we recommend it for those who aren't afraid to come up with creative solutions when modifying their cars. It is not a plug and play type mod, and will definitely require some extra work to make it fit properly.
It took a long time for us to find any sort of information on this manifold, but after watching a Sammit video, we realized they were rebranded Otaku Intake Manifolds. Otaku has since discontinued them, and it may be because of these fitment issues.

Lol, funny how that happens. I've never had the luck. I sell a car and the next person either totals it or wrecks the engine doing stupid mods. Oh well.

I've seen a lot of RBs with these types of intakes, so I'm hopeful they work well. Gotta finish the wiring so I can find out.
I came across you randomly with that said good video man back in 2008ish I thought I knew everything about SR engines lol tried to slap on a full-race top mount equal length tubular turbo manifold a Garrett gtx30rs turbo and a Jun GT super surge intake manifold "and as a o.g. late 90s Tuner upbringing guy Jun's is what everyone out that is considered cool now copied. Hypertune. Plasmaman. Etc they created it for super GT or jgtc." And it took me forever to reroute and block off oil lines and cooling lines heater lines air conditioner lines water lines.... so I appreciate you showing the true struggle for people that had to learn at some point👍

S15 enigne and S14 Sr are pretty much the same except from stock from my knowledge why the S15 SR is so much more than the S14 SR online is beyond me. i have a S14 SR in my S14 car i think but a lot of mods on the car and the Engine itself pushing 400hp 1.3 bar of boost 18 lbs or so 6 speed 350z trans LSD rear end clean car and not a rebuilt title :)
Ya, not completely sure on the price difference. Is it the variable cam? Either way, I lucked out with the KA24 already being swapped out for the SR20!
What does the inside of the manifold look like? Is this similar to the ISR manifold?
Sorry for the late reply, but yes, this is exactly the same as the ISR manifold. Appears to just be a rebrand. So everything in this video can be applied.
are you going to sell the water separator lines?
