Side note: I’ve never understood why someone watches a channels videos if they dislike them so much. I’ve seen videos I don’t like. I stop the vid and move on. People just like to try and shit on others.

Agreed 💯! I'm just a regular guy who likes riding bikes and sharing the experiences. There is too much pomp and posturing in the motorcycle world these days, particularly from manufacturers and influencers peddling fake "lifestyles" and unrealistic expectations.
My paradigm is simple: stay real, ride what I've got as often as possible, and make those memories while I'm physically able... adventure before dementia! Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

Hey Quasi! I'm glad that the mustang has potential, been searching for a new home for it for a while, couldn't go to a better home brother! After dicking around with the stock seats, I ended up getting both the mustang and Corbin out of desperation, I suffer from tail bone pain and the Corbin worked better for me. you'll find that the airhawk on the mustang to be quite comfy 🤙
I want to personally thank you for sharing. I enjoy your adventures and live vicariously through them. Anyone who can't see the sacrifice and daily struggles you endure for your family are not worth the stress. Thank you so much and don't let them bother you. @@QuasiRAW not the very begining but the past 6-7 years or so. Searched for spyder/ryker vids and came across your channel. I love motorcycles and motorsports so instantly became a huge (fat as sea cow) fan. Sometimes I go back and watch prehistiric vids and re-watch others. Thanks for all the hard work and for bringing us along. So glad you are getting better but it may take years to fully heal. 👍😁
I am a firm believer that negative, unhappy, mean spirited comments are more a reflection of the commenter than the subject or thing. It is like the old saying, "misery loves company".

Hello Quasi, keep your chin up. You can be very proud of what you have achieved. I live in Germany and have been following every video for years. I recently went to the Honda dealer and looked at a Super Cub for my wife. We want to ride it across Europe on vacation. And it's all because you inspired me to do it. I ride an NC700X myself, which really is a fantastic bike. You talked about looking at the new model a few weeks ago. I can only recommend the NC series to you. You do you bro. The trolls never go away. Awesome videos! I lived in the RGV for a while and it was affordable but them again it was the RGV. Austin is crazy expensive. I now like in Mandeville LA and it is quickly approaching Austin cost.

People are super judgey. Mid $80k a year is what you need to just be middle-ish class these days! The cost to just be in society these days is insane. I'm is debt pay off mode so I can get closer to unplugging from the matrix and retire into my RV with my dogs, motocycle and kayak. I love your videos and the time you put into putting them out there for us!

Yep a double wide would be an upgrade but my single wide 3 bedroom 2 bath is all I need for just myself. 10 acres, a pond in my front yard just south of Houston and everything is paid for so I'm not complaining!

Everybody....but that guy William....likes your videos....lol. I love the reviews and DIY stuff. I'm brand new to motorcycle (had my license for a little over a year) and your videos as well as other (Life of Burch, On The Rebel 11, and a few others) has gotten me comfortable working on my bike, installing crap, and maintain it. So much so that I now have 3 bikes...(a Navi, Hunter 350 and a Rebel 1100). So F that guy William....his batteries on his wireless mouse probably ran out so he couldn't change the channel and somehow, he thinks its your fault...lol.

Odd, I also spend roughly 7,800 a month, but that is in Danish Kroner (DKK), which leaves approx. 1,200 DKK for savings.
Then again, I’m just a single living in a 610 sq. ft. apartment with a tiny garden and a parking space for my little old car.
By Danish standards I’m considered to be relatively poor, but I’m not complaining because I’m living off social security income.
Without it I would have been dead a long time ago due to heart failure and depression.
So my economy is tight but I’m grateful for what I’ve got, because I know that there are millions of people out there who are worse off than me.
🙏🏻 Well, I'm glad you're still with us! The USA doesn't have socialized medicine or other livable financial support, so we're left to struggle and fight for ourselves.
The only way to receive government benefits here is if you're a minority (few whites are granted anything), an immigrant (legal or illegal), or over 68 yrs old. Even then, those benefits aren't survivable in today's economy... can't pay the rent or buy enough food with only $1200/month.
It's sad to say that the USA needs a complete overhaul. The elites have turned everyone here into a slave class, and we're all struggling to run ever faster on their treadmill of servitude. 😒 --QM

Agreed! I won't give exact numbers, but I lived quite comfortably with about double that income before C-19 f'd the world economy. Granted, I was working 80+ hours/week, but I'm self-employed... work more = earn more (at least that's how it used to be). 😒

i lived in a mobile home until 1996 when i built my house. and said if possible i will NEVER live in another one. and so far haven't and when i built my new home i said i didn't care what it cost i will NEVER live under another tin roof. and if possible i wont. so if you can afford it go for it.
HOA....just another good reason to move out of the Houston area. There are a lot of keyboard cowboys out there that truly hate themselves and go out of there way to piss off as many providers as possible

Congrats on your new Rebel and the Mustang seat! Agreed... the OEM seat leaves a lot to be desired. I added an AirHawk pad on top of the original seat for longer trips, but this Mustang seat is a better saddle overall. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

Sure sounds like jealousy to me. I understand it. I look at all those bikes an feal it. But I would not live in that city for it. An I do not want your workload. You're spending about 10 times what I am per month living here in the mountains outside Chattanooga. I am on acreage, know everyone in a mile radius, my commute was better even back when I worked in the city. But mainly I am not working my butt off to just pay my bills. So I see the nice house an all the bikes an wish I had it, then remember I don't want to trade my life for yours. Now as someone who has made that choice, it would be really easy to question why you choose what you do or even tell you you're doing something wrong. An I am not above that when I see people on CZcams complaining about not being able to afford to live in places like LA but still staying there an asking for handouts. But if you can afford the city, why you choose it is none of my business. An any advice I could give would not apply as we live in completely different worlds. No one is going to ticket me if I decide to not mow my yard for 6 months. If that were the case, I probably would pay a guy to do it. Lots of people can only think from their own perspective an think what they do is the only correct way, then leave rude comments when people do something different. Especially if you are doing better than them in some way. I am willing to bet, most of those people are not doing that well financially themselves. Otherwise, why would they be upset enough to leave a rude comment.
Perfectly said, sir! The ironic thing about my motorcycle collection is that ALL of them combined cost less than the average new family sedan... it's all a matter of perspective and choices on how to spend money.
My dilemma is how to change the current situation and downsize with the least amount of trauma and disruption for my family. I'd love to revert to the bare essentials... about 1/10th of the costs, less junk, less chaos. Our original plan was to escape to Brazil for retirement, so we continued this burn rate until our exit window. Unfortunately, times have changed, so that's not looking like an option. That leaves shopping around in the interior states of the US or perhaps other areas in Central America or Europe (Italy, Portugal, etc). If we move internationally, our life paradigm will COMPLETELY change... really starting over. 😳 --QM

What is out there for available rear shocks that keep the same ride height, but have adjustable compression and spring preload?
That's an excellent question, and I haven't shopped the options in a couple of years. The Burly Stilettos raise the height by nearly 2" from what I've heard, so that's not ideal for several reasons (e.g., seat height and altered steering geometry). The Ohlins shocks are fully adjustable, and they can be built to order with custom... but they're seriously $$$$.
Gus, @OnTheRebel11 , recently upgraded his bike with the Ohlins shocks. He said it made a world of difference. You might check his channel for more info. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
