I was on the C.O.P. program, years back, and , yes, the same stuff. there were 7 of us ( the first group) to go through the parking enforcement class, In Davie Florida. while out on patrol. we were asked to write at least 2 tickets a night. while on patrol

Great video, like Merch idea and personally I would prefer watching you repairing the PCX than letting sit as is. You had a tough ride home, glad you and Neil partnered up to make the ride tolerable.

like i said before i never rode on dirt. until i went to the beach on my trail. and it didn't take long for me to figure out DONT touch the front brake on sand. but once i warms up again i will be hitting the beach again so i can get more training. because one way or the other i will be doing the 2025 cannonball.

You drove right by President Carter's home just a little after the old gas station, which I believe belonged to his brother. That was Plains, Georgia.

At @58 minutes you had stopped at a defunct service station. I live in Georgia and being a nerd was following along watching road signs. Billy Carter Service Station….former deceased President Jimmy Carter’s brother. You asked in general where you were….Plains GA, birthplace of Jimmy Carter. LOL.

My thoughts on Dr pulley variator. Great idea and excellent upgrade unless you plan to ride wide open for hours at a time. Then the brass bushing becomes an obvious hot point with the brass inner. I think for “normal” scooter use it would be fine. I agree the problem started with the torque drive/clutch assy. I think with a solid cast variator with a steel inner, you would just keep breaking belts but not see why.
Short story, if you pop two belts in less than, say 1,500 miles or less and can’t see why, replace the entire clutch assy. That’s my 0.02 of how I understand it.

Do you ever use dispersed camping areas?

    • @QuasiRAW

That's a good question! Yes, we occasionally camp on BLM or USDA land, which are dispersed camping areas. Louisiana and Missouri have a lot of free camping areas that follow that same theme. We prefer state campgrounds when they are nearby because they are usually well maintained and have full-service bath houses. 😉👍 --QM
