- Welcome to the best budget drift build. The vehicle is a 323i BMW E46 with and M52 engine.
In this video I take the Bavarian Burner out for the second time to Archy Drift Park. Trying to learn the ropes of drifting.

Mad dog ! Ripper session, thanks for the vid
Thanks Shandy, 🙏 so keen to get it out again. 🫠
Love the videos tho. From nh here
Glad It helped! 👊
Thanks again! 🙏
Nice drifting
Thank you. Nice Camaro 🫠🚗
When you go side to side just releas steering wheel, dont hold it or trying steer to another side :) and buy lock kit it will help you :) sorry for my english :)
Thanks for the feedback🙏 I agree I am probably fighting the car a bit much.
Hey man, I think your front to rear balance is a bit off. Might need to play around with the suspension stiffness. Did you get a wheel alignment after you dropped the subframe? Adding grip in the rear might help prevent the car from looping and give you more control. You could play with the rear toe and reduce tyre pressure 💁🏽♂️ best of luck and keep the great videos coming 😄
Thank you for the constructive feedback 🙏. Rear is 0 toe 0 camber to start so I could definitely play with that. I agree I could probably run less tyre pressure. I ran them high with the mindset that it’s a stock 2.5L. However it seems to have plenty of power to do the job.
@@BertusBuilds what spring rates are you running front and rear? The motion ratio on a divorce setup means you need stiffer rear springs to achieve the same wheel rate. For example 8k front 14k rear is within the normal for drift applications on e46. Also 0.5 to 1 degree toe in (rear) will help with control and make it easier not to spin out.
Thanks. I don’t remember but spring rate is definitely not that high. I will definitely try playing with toe in the rear also. Cheers bud 👌🏻
Looks like youre gripping the steering wheel a bit too much and trying to manually reset the steering, try learning to let go of the steering wheel and letting it slide through your hands and catching it once the wheels are pointing where you want them. Takes a bit of getting used to but makes the process much smoother and feels awesome. Keen to see how it goes!
Thanks for the constructive feedback 🙏. I am aware I do that. Easier said than done in my brain☺️
@@BertusBuilds yeah always such an unnatural thing to do ahaha took me ages to get used to it!
Hi! what’s your rims and tires setup?
Try letting the steering wheel spin itself a bit, you are trying to correct as soon as you need to but you need to be pre-emptive so let it spin back a bit more, (maybe you've already worked on this recently)
🙏thank you for the feedback. I haven’t had a chance yet but I have had similar feedback. I have a few sessions in the coming weeks to have more seat time and work on my driving.
@@BertusBuilds is your sway bar connected??? if you dont have a sway bar you should compensate with front spring rate
So I might start vlogging soon to and have a e46 323ci vert. Waiting for my gout in my foot to get better
Do it. 323i is more than enough power for a beginner now I realise. Share your journey 🙌🏻
Usa nh. And u don’t need a hydro still u have way more power really
