- We're back at it again! If you remember, I picked up this 2005 Honda Rebel with the purchase of the 1975 BMW R90/6 I found last year and it's about time we started knocking out these project bikes. I figured we'd start with the easiest! Whoops...

You weren't wrong about the carb throttle bracket needing to be taken off first. The carbs on 250 rebel will never not be a pain in the butt.
Happy to hear I wasn't missing something. Needing to pull the intake tube back through the airbox to remove the carburetor is in interesting design, it took a bit of working but we got there.
I just did this on a 86 250 rebel. Loads of fun and very simple to work on.
Absolutely! Great beginner bikes in both riding and mechanical aspects.
I just bought a 1996 last week. First bike. Runs fine but I've been learning about it by fixing turn signals and trying to figure out a ratting noise at high revs (I think it's caused by the aftermarket tank vibrating against the frame). Anyway, I appreciated this video.
@AndrewWhite33 Hell yeah dude, thank you for sharing! I'll be following along on your Rebel videos. 🤙
Keep going, good work🎉
Thanks!!
