I had routine bloodwork done and found out that I'm near pre-diabetes. The doctor told me to cut back on sugar and carbs. I immediately am choosing my food differently and checking labels. How Chantal can ignore her doctors advice & not care about her health is something I will never understand.
Almond flour is gonna be a godsend. Different methods, but that's what online recipes are for. The wholesome yum website is my fav for low carb cooking.

I also proved by applying the law that everything she had said about Nader was not legally possible under Canadian Law . It was ALL a lie. Nader had never even met Delphine Dyson who she said he had been in a relationship with and st*bbed . There was no court case . I also quoted the law regarding SA and DV too in the area she lived in . It contradicted what she said . Chantal didn’t like that ! She tried to get different people to chat to me in Reaction Channel Lives and for me to say that I hate her which would have given her grounds to suspend my channel . Well of course I didn’t say it because I genuinely do not hate Chantal !
The thing I find fascinating about her and Amber is that they feel the need to eat ALL of their calories. Full or not, they are going to eat all of it.
That always blows my mind as well. If I'm full at 1700 calories, I'm not going to keep eating just for the sake of eating all the alloted calories. And then wonder why my blood sugar sucks or why I'm hypertensive because I eat 10 times the daily dose of salt.

After lockdown hit, I gained like 30 pounds. I don’t want to get diabetes nor do I want to have a gang of health problems so I changed my eating habits and lost all that weight. Now I have to maintain that weight loss because trying to diet and keep slim after 50 is very different than when you were 20 💯. Man, does the body change as you age. When I eat, I try to include fruit and vegetables with a good amount of protein in every meal. I didn’t realize how the mayonnaise and oil can get you when it comes to calories and fat, but your channel pointed that out and so now I consider that when I prepare my meals. Your channel is so beneficial for so many people because you’re sharing awareness about food. Everybody on this planet eats and really needs to know what they’re doing to & putting in their body. Foodie can say whatever she wants to justify what she does to herself. Obviously, she’s been watching ALR. Hopefully foodie finds the motivation to learn how to love & be kind to herself/heal. @SansaCooks because of you, I started food logging regularly again. But I was using noom, and I realized that their system is kind of not the same as say, myfitnesspal in that it goes by an orange-yellow-green system instead of counting macros and has a range of what you're supposed to eat for weight loss, which seems more like my maintenance calories. So, I switched to myfitnesspal to see if that would affect my diet any, and if counting macros would garner any noticeable changes in how I lived my life, though I think I might need to invest in a food scale again. The only problem I have is that I tend to get obsessive about these things, and have been anorexic in the past (which seeing me now at 265 pounds one might not believe, but bipolar meds, and unlearned habits really change a person). Is there a way to do this without obsessing, and still taking it easy?

Your doctor could probably see if your calorie goals are matching up with your health goals and maybe help you move the bar as needed. I tend to think of macros in a daily and weekly sense. Because I have swimming days, I save heavier meals for then, if it makes sense, and I try to eat lighter on non-pool days.
It's true, no channels have really been tracking her food stats the way you have. I want the data! Not just endless channels recycling the same KF hot takes.

SHe does realise that the myfitnesspal app calorie goal is a suggestion of a good calorie intake for a sustainable weight loss for her current weight but it does not mean she has to eat that exact amount, that 130 calories does not need to be consumed. If she burns 1000 cals does that mean she thinks that gives her 1000 extra cals to eat. I think the #1 ingredient, for me, in regulating my intake is activity. While taking a walk or doing acrylic painting or...well, working (who likes to go to work? NOT ME!!) isn't going to move the scale one way or the other by a significant margin, being "not bored" is a huge part of staying away from snacks. I snack often just because I'm not doing anything else, snd being stuck in that very small space in a country where she doesn't speak the language and can't get herself anywhere is a recipe (see what I did there?) for snacking almost constantly.
This!! I hate tracking food. If someone else was doing it for me, I'd be so damn grateful, not bitching about it! Especially if she really does want to get healthier (rule #1, I know she doesn't).
Chantal shouldn't just jump into 2000 calories a day. She's gonna be starving. She should start at like 3000 and cut back. Some days she's eating 5000 probably
1900 calories for a 400lb women is not enough. It should be enough but it's not, shes going to be hungry and burn out and binge. She could probably eat 3000 cals and still lose weight slowly and feel less tempted to go off plan.
So Chantal got her information on how many calories she should eat to lose weight from an internet App, ‘My Fitness Pal’ . She didn’t go to a doctor, dietician or nutritionist . This strongly indicates that the whole thing is one big joke for her . She’s in a very rich country where many of the population have an obesity problem . So they have excellent weight loss clinics with doctors including psychiatrists , qualified from Harvard and Oxbridge .
It is really shocking the amount of calories that are in some very common foods, and even when we expect there to be a lot you can still get smacked in the face with reality like with the last couple of sodium counts. Just a crumb of awareness would be good for her. I'm glad she's watching you now.
I appreciate you showing this stuff. Your set up is very nice too! Do you feel carrots and cucumbers alone are good snacks? I see they both have higher carb counts. But I usually have those on hand, I’ll eat a whole carrot and a whole mini cucumber once a day, most days 😂

I am not lying....that snack plate would have been a meal for me. Whenever I go out to eat, I will always order the sampler platter OR a couple of sides (example: side salad and a side of mashed taters. I like the variety and I can share with others, as I have yet to be able to finish a sampler by myself. I tend to get full with very little food.
MilkTea did a shopping haul recently for her own cooking and it was both a really interesting video and a really funny one in the context of how it was a slight jab at Chantal. Could you do a "what I eat in a day" video with macros for yourself? Chantal requested it after all. 😂 If you could include info about some unique products/ingredients to your area that's always interesting to me too. Also, she ordered a MrBeast burger and fries? I had no idea those were around still. That's kind of iffy, those are made in ghost kitchens and I have to assume the resteraunts use their own ingredients so the macros vary from kitchen to kitchen...the quality certainly does, at least when it first came out. And if she's using MyFitnessPal (which means she's likely using the calories for her ideal weight and not gradually working herself down) and trying to eat LESS, those differences could be significant...but perhaps I'm wrong on the operations of MrBeast burger. But I personally wouldn't buy anything from a ghost kitchen still, it's very hard to report any serious issues about them since they sometimes are businesses that rent out a kitchen, or an employee running it on the side, so there's no clear contact information. (I'm thinking of things like sauces that could have more or less sodium depending on the ingredients btw, not so much ground beef or lettuce 😂).

At her size she could have a relatively high calorie allowance and still lose weight.
In order to become and maintain 400 pounds, it takes a lot more than 2000 calories a day. A deficit is a deficit, no matter how high.

She was *momentarily* shaken by your Chinese food macros video. That livestream reminded me of one of her "fast food funerals." She kept talking about all of the foods she loves. And nice try, but that snack plate would only whet her appetite for a truckload of fast food. Remember what she always says. Restricting always leads to binging. She needs psychological help, which she will never get.

hark, doth mine ears hear the shout of "wolf" in the distance. SHe does realise that the myfitnesspal app calorie goal is a suggestion of a good calorie intake for a sustainable weight loss for her current weight but it does not mean she has to eat that exact amount, that 130 calories does not need to be consumed. If she burns 1000 cals does that mean she thinks that gives her 1000 extra cals to eat. I dinnae know about a cautionary tale but she is definitely and inspiration to me, she inspires me to keep on doing what I am doing even when I bollocks up

I think the #1 ingredient, for me, in regulating my intake is activity. While taking a walk or doing acrylic painting or...well, working (who likes to go to work? NOT ME!!) isn't going to move the scale one way or the other by a significant margin, being "not bored" is a huge part of staying away from snacks. I snack often just because I'm not doing anything else, snd being stuck in that very small space in a country where she doesn't speak the language and can't get herself anywhere is a recipe (see what I did there?) for snacking almost constantly.

1900 calories for a 400lb women is not enough. It should be enough but it's not, shes going to be hungry and burn out and binge. She could probably eat 3000 cals and still lose weight slowly and feel less tempted to go off plan.

So Chantal got her information on how many calories she should eat to lose weight from an internet App, ‘My Fitness Pal’ . She didn’t go to a doctor, dietician or nutritionist . This strongly indicates that the whole thing is one big joke for her . She’s in a very rich country where many of the population have an obesity problem . So they have excellent weight loss clinics with doctors including psychiatrists , qualified from Harvard and Oxbridge .

It is really shocking the amount of calories that are in some very common foods, and even when we expect there to be a lot you can still get smacked in the face with reality like with the last couple of sodium counts. Just a crumb of awareness would be good for her. I'm glad she's watching you now.

Do you feel carrots and cucumbers alone are good snacks? I see they both have higher carb counts. But I usually have those on hand, I’ll eat a whole carrot and a whole mini cucumber once a day, most days 😂

I am not lying....that snack plate would have been a meal for me.
Whenever I go out to eat, I will always order the sampler platter OR a couple of sides (example: side salad and a side of mashed taters. I like the variety and I can share with others, as I have yet to be able to finish a sampler by myself. I tend to get full with very little food.

MilkTea did a shopping haul recently for her own cooking and it was both a really interesting video and a really funny one in the context of how it was a slight jab at Chantal. Could you do a "what I eat in a day" video with macros for yourself? Chantal requested it after all. 😂 If you could include info about some unique products/ingredients to your area that's always interesting to me too.
Also, she ordered a MrBeast burger and fries? I had no idea those were around still. That's kind of iffy, those are made in ghost kitchens and I have to assume the resteraunts use their own ingredients so the macros vary from kitchen to kitchen...the quality certainly does, at least when it first came out. And if she's using MyFitnessPal (which means she's likely using the calories for her ideal weight and not gradually working herself down) and trying to eat LESS, those differences could be significant...but perhaps I'm wrong on the operations of MrBeast burger. But I personally wouldn't buy anything from a ghost kitchen still, it's very hard to report any serious issues about them since they sometimes are businesses that rent out a kitchen, or an employee running it on the side, so there's no clear contact information.
(I'm thinking of things like sauces that could have more or less sodium depending on the ingredients btw, not so much ground beef or lettuce 😂).
