I hope tommy is feeling better. Onjurues to the rubs can take a long time to heal. Live your stitching projects and the watercolor for Tommy's sister is beautuful and so thoughtful.
Sharon, thanks for the well wishes for Tommy. You are right, his rib cage is still very sore. He says he feels every step in his ribs when he runs right now. But he will get better with time. I agree with you the watercolor was a very thoughtful gift and I am looking for a time when we can head down to my SIL's house and gift it to her. Happy Stitching in the meantime! Dena

Carolyn, we had a wonderful time in the mountains with our friends. The cabin met our needs, it was just a bit dated and having to come in and out of the door right into our friends' bedroom as awkward. However, it was warm and dry and everything worked. I must say Santa's House is one of my favorites right now. Love the colors myself. Cocoa is so happy to have Tommy back home. She is sleeping late with him this morning. Hi Dena, congratulations on 300 episodes, they have been so enjoyable. I was not sure how I would feel about a bear reclining above my head like that and your face was a picture! What a thoughtful and beautiful gesture your friend made painting such a lovely image of Ginger which will be such a comfort to your Sister-in-law. I really loved seeing Santa's House and your progress on it. Hoping this finds Tommy mended - I know he is very fit from running so that will be a boon to his healing. Teresa, the good news is that Tommy is healing well. we are headed to his sister's today to gift her the water color of Ginger. Cocoa is back at Fred's just for tonight while we go. Linda, thanks so much on the congrats. Tommy is slowly recovering. I think his rib cage bothers him more than his badly scraped arm. But, he is taking good care of himself, so he should recover nicely. I am just grateful he doesn't have any broken bones. Dena

Michelle, Cocoa is usually more needy when Tommy is gone of course. Yes, that bear....had to not look up when I went into the bedroom because it gave me the willies. LOL. Hope you are getting great stitching time. Dena

Thanks for the well wishes for Tommy. He said he felt every step in his rib cage the next time he ran after his fall. I am concerned that his arm with scar badly from the deep scrape, but He is taking good care of it and we shall see. I hope you are enjoying your stitching. Dena...so sorry Tommy fell...our HO Association actually shaved our walks down where the trees has shoved the corners up...a fall is bad at any age...glad you enjoyed your trip with your friends...I love all Christmas' shops too...your stitching is beautiful...love your 'needy' Cocoa...best wishes ❤❤
Loretta, I am also sorry Tommy fell. He has been very sore but he got back out there two days later and ran again. He said he felt every step in his rib cage, but he is determined. Wish I had that much determination. LOL. Dena

Tommy is healing from the fall. However, he has now injured his left calf muscle. He is at the doctor's now to determine what is wrong and how long he will need to recuperate. Dena

TaMara, he was healing well until he did something to his left calf muscle running (again). Now he has an appointment with his physician to bet a referral for physical therapy. He may have injured himself to a point he will miss his hike in June. I hope not, but he is concerned about it. No running for awhile now. Dena
Dena, I’m so sorry to hear that. I undstand how disappointed he is about potentially having to miss his hike as well as not being able to run for now. Having lived through the past 4 months with Caelin not being able to run, I know it takes a huge toll on a runner to not be able to run. I will be praying that there isn’t anything serious going on and that he’ll recover quickly with some rest and pt. - TaMara
I hope your husband its okay now. Falling is so scary. I totally understand why you are scared for the bear in a dark house. It sounds horror and it hangs so creepy. Have a great weekend and enjoy your stitching

Hi Coco she is so funny. Oh wow 21yrs! That’s a long time and they definitely are our babies. Wow that is a great picture of her dog. Yes we have to drive an hr and bit to drs, dentist, costco and our sons. Our daughter moved and is 6 hrs away. Sigh 😢 oh I have an old wooden mirror in my garage… come my way and you can have it! 😂😂 long long drive and or plane ride! Lol
Cindy, I guess you really plan your outings to pack in all you can. We are so blessed here. I have a JoAnns, a Hobby Lobby and a Michaels all within five minutes of my house and each other. I am spoiled. My husband asked if I wanted to move back to the other side of town anytime soon and I said, NO, because I love this area. Dena

I hope Tommy is feeling better...we don't "bounce" as we get older quite like we used to. Thank goodness he didn't break a bone. It sounds like you had a great time, even with poor lighting. A friend of mine who does a lot of quilting retreats always takes high watt bulbs to put into lamps and lights and now I know why! You don't even think about things like that...bet you will now! Aww...little Chiweenie Ginger looks just like my little Chiweenie Zeus. Ginger was a companion for a lifetime for sure. Mine is a little funny guy and I am not ashamed to admit he has filled my "Do I really want another dog? And a little male one?" heart...and he's much loved and spoiled rotten. Isn't it funny how we look at things we can use to finish projects? I can't wait to see the bike clock you use!!!
Lynn, thanks for the well wishes for Tommy. He is slowly improving but his rib cage is still quite sore and I think his arm may scar from the deep scrape he received. Even with poor lighting, my hubby went around and collected light bulbs from lamps throughout the house and put them in the light fixture above the kitchen table so my friend could paint and I could stitch. So you are right, I will probably always take lights with me in the future, especially when we drive and I have room in the car. Zeus sounds wonderful and I am so happy he is spoiled. Every dog/cat should be spoiled in my opinion. Have a wonderful month of stitching! Dena
Hi Dena I'm back. I know it has been a while I was kinda out of my stitchy bug but I am back into it. I have started 26 new starts and may continue to kit up maybe another 10/15 more. I have worked on each start and I really do enjoy them. I have small, medium and large as a mix of patterns from old to new. I will be in May out of town for about 2/3 weeks but when I get back I will be going to Shepards bush to get more material and looking at patterns. I will take a couple of small cross stitch when I go. My granddaughter will be graduating from High School and will start college in September. She does art and she is really talented and wants to pursue it as a career. I hope Tommy your hubby gets better and I am sorry for the loss of your friend's puppy. I had a lot of catching up to do on my floss tuber's and still a lot more to go. Dena I always love watching your channel you are a very talented and gifted lady and I love your smiles. I love watching you and Donna and hope to see more of her with you. Lovely lady. I love watching Coco she is always a joy to see. When I finish some of my new starts I will send you a picture. I know I decided to start at least 40 this year to get some of my stash out there for me to stitch because I had so much I wanted to do in there. Was it the same for you or something different? After watching flosstube and your channel I decided to do it and I am happy to say I really love it because I may want to choose which one I want to work on. I may do this one for three days or one day or a week. I like it and choose what I want to do. It is a lot of fun and you inspire me very much. Happy Stitching

I was totally surprised I didn’t break my wrist because I went down hard. Yikes!

After seeing your last video I was inspired to treat myself to strawberry faire hoping it shall arrive from 123 stitch later this month and shall start immediately. Wish I could show you my progress but I don’t own a computer and my phone is so old I cannot join instagram but shall be inspired seeing your work. Enjoy the retreat and happy stitching
Neil, I worked on Strawberry Faire last night while zooming and completed one of the colors in the strawberry. I will share a tip with you that my friend Lori shared with me. Stitch the Diamond shape symbol in the strawberry first as it sets the outline for the entire berry. I did it and I think it was a wonderful tip. Dena
