Dottie, thanks so much for the well wishes for our safe trip to visit JT. We had a blast and enjoyed every minute of our time together. I am just back from a 2 week trip to Scotland to visit my granddaughters - Imogen is 3 and Isla only a month old. Very hard leaving them but that’s the price of living thousands of miles apart. Susan, I am so happy you got to visit your grands! They are so precious and grow up so quickly. We did have a fabulous trip to visit our son, JT, and now we are getting ready for Tommy to have a great hike on the Appalachian Trail. That is the reason I have such lofty stitching goals. I will have plenty of time to stitch since my hubby will be hiking. Cocoa and I will have a girls time. LOL. Happy Stitching. Dena

That is a lot of finishes in May. I do as well always Christmas in July. Because in december I don't have a lot of time to stitch. And in January I'm kind of done with christmas. But I love christmas projects. Have a great weekend and happy stitching

Sharon, we had a fabulous time with our son! We did some of our favorite things together: tried out a new restaurant, saw a movie and played cards. Mostly we talked and toured his new town. So good to be able to visualize all his favorite places when he talks about them now. Hope you are getting lots of stitching time this weekend. Dena

Thanks Dena for another great visit...your stitching is prolific considering you were on vacation...the plans sound great...sorry your Haunted House is giving you problems...you can always stitch them separately on different counts and display with pumpkins, etc. and the different stitch count would not be noticeable...kiss Cocoa...have a great visit with your son...blessings and best wishes❤❤

Thank you so much for the encouragement on my By the Bay! We had a wonderful time with JT. He gave us a big tour of his new home town and showed us all his favorite hang outs, where he works, where he goes to exercise in the parks and we even tried out new restaurants together. Great time! Dena

Angela, we had a wonderful visit with our son. He looked so healthy and trim, he had lost 20-25 lbs since we saw him in December. He was so proud of me as well. We did some of our favorite things together and spent a great day together. Thank you for the well wishes for our trip. Dena

Linda, I was so excited to get to see my son. We drove to his town on Saturday evening and on Sunday morning we picked him up at his home about 9:00 a.m. He gave us a great tour and we ate out, went to a movie, played card games and had a wonderful full day. He had to work today, so we came back home, but the day we had was full and fabulous! Dena

Hello Dena, that was a lovely May wrap up and so glad you got to meet so many goals during the month. I hope you had a good trip to see your Son and that you had a fun weekend together. Cocoa looked to be having a great time with her friends but her heart belongs to you and Tommy as she lets you know! Thanks so much Teresa for the thumbs up! We had a marvelous trip to see JT. He has lost even more weight (about 20 more pounds since I saw him in December) so he looks very trim and fit to me. It was fun to see the little goals you met here at the end of the month - I’m sure that feels good!
Regarding your Haunted Mansion piece, I have some ideas. If you have your heart set on a Mill Hill trilogy like that, you could restart this exact triptych on 28ct fabric and finish your current one for a gift or smalls exchange, etc. If you don’t think you’d enjoy restitching this pattern, there might be a different Halloween piece you could swap it out for. Or even try a trilogy in another season - Christmas, spring, etc. Looking forward to seeing what you decide to do. Too bad the project didn’t go as planned, but that does happen sometimes. 😊

Hi Dena! A tad late as my leg issues got worse and ended up at emerg. Then our daughter and her husband and boys were down for 4 days.and out of the blue my arm started and now it’s painful and not moving well. Physio tomorrow and dr end of July.
Everything is so beautiful. Love those by the bays.. I don’t know how you get so any stitches i2days. It’s beautiful! We go to Lisas on the 11th but it’s 5.5 to 6 hrs😢. Oh my that’s a big motif for sure.looks great. Still focused on totem, but didn’t stitch for 2 days then 4 when kids were here. I will take some for the car and when we are up visiting 5 days. Good luck. My goal for July 25th finish hmmm don’t think so. See you next time!

Hi Deba so great to see all of your projects moving along so nicely. I was wondering if you considered purchasing other beads for your haunted manionproject. I know you have the color of the beads and they are perfect for 28 count but you could check to see if they are available a little smaller to fit your 32 count fabric. Enjoy your visit with your son.
Sharon, I hadn't thought about it since I have the part I've stitched most beaded as well. I think once I finish this one I will wait awhile and I may be able to find the smaller beads for the other two. That is a good suggestion. Thanks, Dena

@@halfstitchcrossstitch2456 yes I am working on a stamped cross stitch and a counted Shannon Christine Designs coffee break. It says coffee warms the soul. I am stitching it on a darker purple fabric. I think it may have turned out better on a lighter fabric.
I think the Shannon Christine Designs are lovely. I purchased two patterns from her collection this year. Dena

Hello. You have great plans for June. I love hearing what your thoughts are when you go through your plans. Did you finish your pre stitching for the finishing class in July. I'm thinking of doing a few Christmas projects in July also. Happy stitching. 💜
Kanday, I have finished all my pre-stitching for the finishing classes in July, so that is good. I have decided to stitch almost Christmas exclusively in July because I have 8 different Christmas WIPs already. I may start a new one or two in July as well. LOL. But first, I have some big goals for June to make room. Happy Stitching. Dena
Have you considered not doing the beads and just do the stithing on the other two? I have done that in the past on a couple of projects and was happy with the outcome. 🙂
