I think Canelo is avoiding David B because he could possibly lose it but more than that Canelo can dictate terms for the fights with Charlo and any other Al Haymon fighter as long as he is in the driver seat. If he were to lose to David then he would not be able to dictate terms for the Charlo fight nor other Haymon fighters especially with DB. So Canelo and his team are financially and strategically smart by waiting to fight DB last . Can't blame him for this and we will see if he is scared of DB later when this all unfolds.
