I have a question. How do males and females bond with each other? I don't see how men and women can bond (especially romantically) with each other. Men and women think very differently from each other.
I heard that lesbian relationships are healthier because they understand each other. If both partners understand each other, they won’t want to break up with each other. I also heard that women have higher rates of depression when married (in straight relationships). There is a very small percent of women that are happy in heterosexual relationships.
So it's very hard for men and women to bond with each other and have a strong bond with each other. Both men and women think differently, behave differently, react in a different way.
The more similar two people are, the easier it is to relate and understand each other, resulting in a better, more fulfilling connection. I also read somewhere that even with the divorce rates what they are, most heterosexual marriages that don't end in divorce are still unhappy, and can absolutely relate to experiencing significantly more depression while married than while single.
I lost my soulmate years ago. Words couldn't express the pain that I went through. Don't know if I'll ever experience that feeling of love again. One can only hope and pray.

Rie Rie wow! Same thing happened with me. I parted myself coz of some situations. We didn’t talk for almost 2 years. But I just could not resist myself and him for the same. We are again together. This was meant to happen. There truly was a God’s sign. I don’t know whether we are soulmates but there is definitely some strong connections. No matter how hard I try to go away from him, I just can’t. The same happens with him. He tried to move on in every possible way but could not and just hope and wish for togetherness. I don't give a shit if I am miserable, sad, depressed, and crying every day for the rest of my life. This is my punishment for the unnecessary and cruel verbal abuse that she endured. So be it. Just to clarify: there was NEVER any physical abuse. However I did learn that the emotional and verbal type of abuse can be WORSE than the physical type.

I have done a lot of research over the years about "soulmates " and what I have learned is when you find your soulmate, that relationship is for is a reason: To teach you a lesson, and then generally your soulmate leaves, it's not forever. Yes I knew before I met him, who he was. When I met him it was instantly confirmed. There was a beautiful energy that enveloped me in warmth and light. When I met my bf I was going through a divorce. I wasn't planning on dating but we just clicked. We could finish each others sentences, felt like we've known each other for years, could see through each others insecurities and accepted each other.
