The Air Force and Army are using a program that allows legal migrants to apply for accelerated naturalization when they join the military. Rep. Mark Alford, R-Mo., discusses the program with NewsNation host Leland Vittert.

    If you wanna be successful, you most take responsibility for your emotions, not place the blame on others. In addition to make you feel more guilty about your faults, pointing the finger at others will only serve to increase your sense of personal accountability. There's always a risk in every investment, yet people still invest and succeed. You must look outward if you wanna be successful in life.

      The first step to successful investing is figuring out your goals and risk tolerance either on your own or with the help of a financial professional but is very advisable you make use of a professional like I did. If you get the facts about saving and investing and follow through with an intelligent plan, you should be able to gain financial security over the years and enjoy the benefits of managing your money.

    I'm tired of the state of politics in our country right now.... this is precisely why we need Universal Healthcare.... a large part of the issue with recruiting is we have the highest number of physically unfit military age persons in our country that we've ever had due to obesity and other health conditions. If I was running for office I would position healthcare as a national security issue. We need to ensure the health of our citizens to widen the recruiting pool. Allocate some of the defense budget towards universal healthcare as a way to meet recruiting goals.

  • @ESUSAMEX
    @ESUSAMEX Před rokem +7

    We should not be giving US citizenship to anyone. The offer should be that citizenship could be possible after serving in the military, but it is not guaranteed. The US has been handing out citizenship like candy on Halloween for far too long. To become an American should be the toughest process on the planet. Speaking English, having the proper documentation and willingness to fight for the US should only be the basic requirements. A foreigner should have to reside in the US for 30 years before being able to become a US citizenship. Moreover, every immigrant should be forced to renounce their other nationality before starting the entire process. If the other nationality cannot be renounced, then the immigrant cannot become an American. For those wondering which nations do not allow their native born citizens to renounce their citizenship, Mexico is one of them. Mexico does not allow native born Mexicans to give up their citizenship. They demand that Mexicans be Mexicans at all times.

    • @cesars7281
      @cesars7281 Před rokem +22

      I get you are riled up about the issue, but you are kind of misinformed about a few things. The only way to get "easy" citizenship in the USA is through family. Through having american Family. The other "easy" way is to buy up a green card with the "investor's green card" so rich russians and saudis have been doing for a while.
      The US has a terrible way of handling worker, or temporary visa to the point a lot of companies use canada as headquarters when they need to bring over their talent from another country.
      Again, the US does not had over easy citizenship. The only easy "citizenship" is through family. Also, your grandparents didn't "work hard" to get citizenship. They literally come over on a boat from europe and told immigration their names and got their green cards.
      Focus your outrage at the right issue.

    • @ESUSAMEX
      @ESUSAMEX Před rokem

      @@cesars7281 I know all about how American citizenship works and easy it is to obtain. I have worked as a Spanish translator and interpreter for more than 20 years. I have seen and heard all the BS excuses and lies given by foreigners on their immigration forms and in interviews. I have seen Latinos switch their two surnames around so that immigration has trouble finding out if they have been in US in the past. For example, A guy born Juan Antonio Gomez Sanchez will change his name to Juan Antonio Sanchez Gomez after being deported. Or they will just switch the first two name and become Antonio Juan instead.
      No one should ever get citizenship because they have an American family. If I marry my Mexican girlfriend, she should be the only one to get US citizenship by marrying me and 30 years of residence in the US. The idea that she could later bring her family to the US is utterly asinine. Familial visas and citizenship should be limited to the spouse of an American. Moreover, the US should get rid of US citizenship by birth. The only kids who should be US citizens by birth are those born to American parents. Crossing the border and giving birth should never be allowed. We must get rid of all investment visas and visa lotteries as well. No more easy way into America.
      I believe work visas should be valid only one year and once that year is over, everyone must return home for at least five year before reapplying again and paying the fees. Work visas should only be handle out the worker alone. He or she who comes here to work should not be able to bring any family or friends. After all, they are here to work and save money for their return home after 12 months.
      First off, you know nothing about my family. My family had visas. Back then everyone had to know English before getting any job. Moreover, there wasn't any welfare. You worked or you starved. There weren't programs nor handouts. You worked hard to learn the language and respected the culture in the US. Today it is not like that. The people believe that their culture is just as equal as American culture. And in America that is not true Just like when I lived in Mexico, I had respect Mexican culture while residing there.
      As for coming over on a boat and just giving your name, that's BS. Everyone had to prove that they were healthy. Doctors checked everyone and if you had a cough, you were sent home. The largest building on Ellis Island in NY was the hospital for this very reason.
      Like I said, it is way too easy to move to and live in the US. All immigration laws must be tightened up and limited to the few who have skills and are intelligent and educated. The US is the best nation on Earth and it should have the most restrictive immigration policies denoting its greatness. No more liars and criminals. Visas should be as hard to get as possible. Immigrants should be forced to demonstrate and prove to America that they are worthy to be inside the US. If that toughness forces immigrants to go else where, great! The last few years under Biden have demonstrated that most foreigners do not deserve to be here at all, never mind citizens.

    • @cesars7281
      @cesars7281 Před rokem +3

      @@ESUSAMEX "US should get rid of citizenship by birth" so this has nothing to do with all your other points, which was mostly about people getting green card (assuming by what I read).
      Also, no it was no BS. You didn't have to prove anything back in the day to immigrate into the US. You may have been translating for asylum seekers or maybe for people applying for green cards or citizenship but you are definitely coming off very arrogant.
      You said visas should be as hard as possible to get. I'm assuming you mean work visas. Sure. But there are other loopholes to close like corporations shipping off jobs overseas while they make trillions in profit in the US.
      Another issue is manual labor. Let's take seasonal farm work. There nearly not enough visas for that work, so it's mostly filled with illegal laborers. Let's take Florida who are now begging immigrants to not leave as produce is rotting and construction is in a standstill.
      So the myth that jobs are being stolen is again, being busted real time (as if was in Georgia and Alabama).
      What you should be advocating for is for proper visa rules for seasonal work, so enough visas are handed out to farm workers so corporations don't take advantage of illegal laborers who will be unlikely to report abuses and laws corporations might be breaking.
      Also birthright citizenship is a constitutional right, so you going for the stars.

      @@cesars7281 You are doing a lot assuming and being arrogant at the same time. If you took the time reread my statement, you would already know that all visas should be restricted and coupled with harsh penalties. I will again repeat what I want to do so that you can maybe grasp what needs to be done.
      I want ALL visas to be very restrictive and valid for 1 year only. There are no loopholes in my plan and any corporation which breaks the laws loses its business license forever.
      On immigration into Ellis Island, you need to study more about the topic before commenting. Anyone found to be ill on the Island was denied entry and placed on a ship home.
      As a Florida resident, I know your comment about Florida is wrong. Only liberals want the current chaos to continue because they think the illegals and other foreigners will one day vote for them.
      As for birthright citizenship as not being part of this topic, you are wrong as well. I said it is too easy to become a US citizen, and birthright citizenship is part of the problem. And you are wrong about the constitution when it talks about citizenship. That amendment only applied to African slaves brought here. It hasn't been expanded to others who knowingly entered the US illegally or foreigners with a visa. It has never been tested by the supreme court. The Democrats know this is true and now they fear that the current court will finally end birthright citizenship for non-Americans. So now they are flooding the nation with every criminal and uneducated person and telling them to have many children. Chuck Schumer said this himself on the steps on the court last year.
      Finally, your belief that America needs all these workers is false. A few years ago, Iowa began to raid all the farms and factories when strict new immigration and employment laws were approved. The people at Univision cried that no one would work for these companies. Well, the next day there was a line around the block of Americans wanting to work there. Moreover, the company raised the wages as well because the state was going revoke their business license if they refused to hire Americans and give them good pay.
      We do not need more immigrants of any kind. We have enough people to do all the work. We just need to halt the flow of illegals and limit legal immigration to the very skilled and educated. The best nation on the planet shouldn't be handing out visas at will.
