I would also like to be able to purchase a box that would cover my whole family for one month. Me, my wife our large dog, our 2 smaller dogs and 2 cats. As I only get paid once a month, I shop for the entire month, stocking up till next payday. So do you have any deals that fit my needs and my *budget*? I typically spend about $200.00 a month on meat alone just for my wife and I.
The bone and organ levels are not right at all. 80% meat 10% bone 5% liver 5% other sacreating organ such as spleen or kidney even testicle. Heart is muscle meat.
@Bill Rayvan Beef heart is most commonly used and is still a heart with a lot of nutrients for your dog. All hearts are muscles. Otherwise they would never beat. If you want to add or change, it’s up to you.

If people want to add the needed bone, they can feed chicken and turkey necks/wings/quarters/drumsticks/feet, and/or beef/pork/venison/elk/lamb rib bones/feet for bone as regular treats. And eggs with the eggshells are an awesome food, too. And add the organs as textured meal toppers/mix-ins. I still say that I like the convenience of this meal base. The bone fragments in ther stomach won't be dangerous for their track system like people mentioned on internet ? They also say pork is dangerous because of parasites or something like that and rae chicken because of salmonella and other things etc, etc. A lot of articles say to make sure to prepare the food right meaning I have to cook it and remove all bones..iam so confuse and nervous to give my dog raw meats and bones...a lot of articles say to cook it and others say it's OK to give it to them raw with bones
Hi. I just saw your question on if it's safe to feed raw meat and raw bones and pork. It is safe to feed these items. I've fed my dog since he was seven weeks old. Raw meats, bones, and secreting organs. He will be eleven months on the eleventh and weighs 150 pounds. He is trim but muscular and his coat glistens. He has zero tarter on his teeth. He also gets raw soup bones which help to keep his teeth clean and white. For veggies, he gets ground mixed greens as well as some fruits, all ground. The meats and other things like the organs and bone are not ground. He's pretty good at grinding these things. He gets raw fish and raw pork for those who are afraid of feeding pork or fish. The freezer takes care of most parasites. Salmonella isn't a problem for them since they already have that in their gut. Their digestive system is shorter than ours so food gets digestived and eliminated quicker than ours. Their digestive juices are much stronger than ours so that takes care of bacteria. Raw eggs are good. Check out Dr Karen Becker, Dr Ian billinghurst, Jason Cory and his book, Raw Feeding Master class. Raw feeding 101. I don't measure or weigh his food. Organs several times a week. The rest, every day. I also give mine raw goats milk and essential fatty acids. The fruits are a mixture of berries, and a banana. Grinding the veggies and fruits allows him to dijest the phyto nutrients and and fiber. Since they are primarily carnivores they can't dijest the cellular walls of the plant matter so grinding them allows them to dijest. In the wild they open the stomach of their prey and they eat the dijested contents. I make bone broth for him as well
Your mix is 84% muscle/15% fat/1% bone. The recommended raw feed ratio is 80% muscle/10% organ/10% bone. Heart is considered as muscle not organ, such as liver. Your mix has unneeded fat and is missing organ and bone.

Why not use ground chicken bone? It is easily digested. Also liver is missing. Interesting though . My dog loves Rabbit,yet she can't eat free range birds. Fine on Lamb,Venison and wild Rabbit .Thank you : )
In dog food there should be ground bone. A substantial amount of liver and last but not least pure ground beef tripe. What I seen in this video the food is not balanced
Many other raw food mixes contain vegetables, fruit, yogurt, supplemental omegas/fats, as well as rice or sweet potatoes, peas, quinoa.... you've fed your dog only this meat mix and he's fine?!
Without actually organ meat, muscle meat isn't particularly nutrient dense (vitamins) those are in the liver, kidney, lungs etc, then where's the collagen etc. This isn't really a barf diet

dog's need raw bone, 1% is not enough calcium ,it needs to be 10%....1% will make the dog leach calcium from there own bone
