I just bought 3 old copper ornaments. I already have the ingredients. Yay. I'll be using this method. Thank you😘💕... Love from the Scottish Highlands ✌
I gave this a shot, and came to the conclusion that the baking soda and salt are of no use. The vinegar and soda are acid and alkaline, and cancel each other out, with salty water as a by-product. I stood my pot in this mixture over night, but there was no evidence of cleaning at all. However, I mixed together tomato ketchup and vinegar, and smeared that around the inside of the pot; the ketchup served to keep the acid on the surface, rather than running off instantly. Within hours all but the worst of the tarnish and green corrosion had gone. The down side is that now my hands stink.
I just use vinegar and my wife’s toothbrush
Soda is alkaline, which neutralises vinegar which is acidic and produce water=nothing happens. Just use vinegar alone.
Music is nonsense
They miss one thing that was hydrogen peroxide to finish it off
Just use a mixture of salt+lemon juice+ wheat flour, rub the past for few minutes
that ain't even corroded
Lemon and salt is an age old cheaper method that will work perfectly as well.
They need to dump the Statue of Liberty in a giant bucket of vinegar and baking soda.
I just use lemon juice ( citrus) and salt and it takes me just 10 minutes for this type of shine.
Is that a regular tooth brush or steel brush?
Most of your work is counter active.
