Beautiful work. This is the nicest homebuild that I've ever seen. I understand all of the work you've put into it since I've barely been able to get into a 19' restoration here at home. Nothing left to do for you but to have fun! Congrats!
fabulous work man, you have achieved quite a feat.. maybe you could put out a boat building guide step by step, for total amateurs like me who doesn't even know the first nut/screw about boat building... the stages vidz are great, but for a guy like me, i don't know what comes in between ur posts an other stuff like that, if u get what i mean... would love to be able to build my own boat someday..
congrats and hats off to you, wonderful job.. maybe u can even start a guide to boat building, with step by step guidelines for amateurs like me, who don't know the first nut and bolt about boat building, but would really love to acquire that awesome skill.. what do you say?
Extremely well done, you could double your money easily with that boat. Though I know if I had put in that much work, I wouldn't want to sell it haha, as I'm sure you don't either.
@RogueCorps thanks mate... yeah getting started can be the hardest part.... but I always reckon its gotta be better than watching television. good luck on your resto!
thanks mate. I didnt have a video camera when I started building this boat ( my first one ). My second little boat has more in depth stages while I have been building it and I have tried to show stages of build so anyone can understand, but as for details on actually using fibreglass, resins, smoothing mixtures and finishing coatings and all that stuff, you should do what I did when I started.... talk to people who know. cheers
Wow the boat came out awesome! I bet it must feel amazing driving the boat knowing You built it all from scratch!! Wish i was this handy. - do you happen to sale any!?
Thanks mate..... if you check out my other smaller project on the go at the moment, you will see that is already a kind of step by step guide to the stages of building. Others have told me that it is already helping them with their projects. Check out 'mini bat boat' parts 1 to 5 so far.
Thanks for your comments. There is alot of job satisfaction from building something like this when it does turn out working so well also. I hope my little Bat Boat turns to be as good in the water as this one is. No selling though... these are built just for our amusement and enjoyment only.
What a great looking little boat in the water as well as on the trailer! Congrats
