And strategically speaking Manny never was a clincher, his offense is his defense, I don't think he would change up because he moved up in weight. All this is speculation anyway, Paulie said this is what people told him, not what he witnessed. @rant21 Před 2 lety +28

There’s a lot of holes, inaccuracies & missing context in Paulies arguments. He says Manny was just waking thru Cotto, & other guys punches, which is not at all true. Manny Cotto was a war & Manny got his bell rung several times in that fight. Pac was a swollen mess after the Margarito fight & said that he was in bed for 2weeks crying in pain afterwards. Watch the post fight presser & just look at Pacs face & body language.
He also says that “everyone” is juicing. - which is a convenient assertion to help his argument. Why isn’t everyone popping dirty then? Is there some huge conspiracy that allows everyone in boxing to use PEDs and Paulie just never could get in on it?
Lastly, he claims Pac was too small & it’s unnatural for him to move up & perform the way he did against bigger guys. Fine. But if that’s true, explain how he was able to take the bigger guys punches. There is no PED to make your chin stronger or your body more resilient to punches. The reason Pac was able to come up from flyweight to WW is because he grew into each weight class. He was young & literally poor & starving when he was fighting at the lower weights. Once he began to make money and live a natural life he steadily moved up. He also was fighting at his walk around weight in almost every weight class. He NEVER weighed in at 147 the entire time he fought there - because he was too small. Pac is a 5’5 145lb man who probably walked around at 150 in between fights.

I can’t get with Paulie on this. Pac has NEVER tested dirty EVER. He never refused a test. He’s always been enrolled with VADA. In 2011 he refused USADA testing, which is what Floyd was using at the time & was using as a flex in negotiating the fight. Why was VADA testing sufficient for everyone else but for Floyd, Manny had to use USADA? In hindsight, Should Manny have just said “fuck it, I’ll do your testing” - I would say yes. But you gotta think about Mannys mentality at the time. He & Floyd were 1 & 1a in the entire sport (at that time) it wasn’t JUST the testing that killed the fight, it was the 50/50 split that Manny wanted & deserved(at that time) & Floyd’s demand that he “leave Bob or there’s no fight”. Why hasn't any fighter or Filipino fighter for that matter use what Pac's using? You'd think Pac would share those juices to his brother Bobby who was a boxer too to gain the same success as he has. A lot of superstars tested positive, heck even Floyd who is a protected fighter at Vegas tested positive, Canelo too, Pac has never tested positive for PEDs, you'd think he is more susceptible to being caught just like he was susceptible being robbed of his victories over the Bradley, Horn and Mayweather, and the 1st Marquez fight, in a foreign country where he has no homecourt advantage.

Let’s not forget that none of these fighters went down with just one punch, the closest to that would have been Ricky hatton. I remember dela Hoya saying that manny didn’t have lots of power and that he was too fast and Oscar couldn’t see the punches coming. In fact in fights taken place at 135 or higher he has only 5 stoppages in 21 fights. I even remember Floyd saying that what manny had done was no greater accomplishment than what he had done because they both fought at 106 pounds wen they were 16 and mayweather actually moved through the weight classes faster so buy this logic Floyd must have been juicing also. Lets talk about how the media allowed Floyd Mayweather to get away with a lot his cheating antics, something Paulie and everyone Mayweather fan won't address. But first, lets dive into all the fighters Floyd ducked!! He avoided a lot of fighters when he was in his prime, and he retired twice to do so. He didn't fight Cotto when Cotto was in his prime, and after Cotto beat Sugar Shane, it was perfect time to make the fight, but Floyd told the media Cotto wasn't a draw. He waited and when he finally fought him, Cotto already had been broken up by Margarito, and Pacquaio. Still good, but not the same guy and he knew this. He also avoided Antonio Margarito. Margarito pressed him about a fight and he said he would fight him, and he ducked him!! He now uses the excuse that Margarito was cheating, but no one knew at the time if he was loading his gloves, so that's an excuse he'll continue to use. Because if that's the case than Margarito cheated against Paul Williams, and Joshua Clottey as well. Margarito didn't knock Williams and Clottey out. He also ducked Paul Williams who not only wanted to fight Floyd but called him out on numerous occasions and he never once entertained it. Infact, Williams had openly said"If Floyd went to Al and said, "Hey, I want to fight Paul Williams, what can Al do? But Floyd is not going to ever say that. Pacquiao, he fights bigger guys, he's different than Mayweather so maybe I will get to fight him. He felt Manny Pacquaio would fight him at that time before Floyd and Pacquaio was trying to fight him, but the only reason the fight didn't happen is because Williams got knocked out by Martinez. Floyd had plenty of opportunities to fight Williams but he ducked him!! And he was with Al Haymon too, so it was even easier for him to make that fight. Floyd also agreed to fight Winky Wright, and he ducked his way out of that one when he issued a rehydration clause that Winky couldn't weight over a certain limit, but Winky Agreed to the same day weigh-in and it would be the morning of the bout rather than the day before and Wright would not be allowed to gain more than eight pounds between weighing in and the start of the contest. But of course Mayweather pulled out, demanding changes to the purse-split and other such things to ruin a big fight against someone who would of tested him.
And he can't use the excuse that Winky was too big because Winky was willing to go back down to 154 to fight Mayweather, the same weight Floyd fought OScar De La Hoya at, which was a money fight, but Winky was the true champion at that weight, undisputed junior middleweight. Oscar was a part time fighter and Floyd had a hard time with OScar when he was past his prime. Floyd also could of fought Kostya Tzu when he was active(I think Floyd would of beat him but he still didn't take the fight) Timothy Bradley when he was active and he was one of the top ww's at the time, Floyd never even mentioned his name. Floyd also ducked Keith Thurman when he was the number 1 contender for the WBA title that Floyd had and Floyd fought Andre Berto instead. Lol Floyd did fight Zab Judah but after Zab came off of a loss before he finally agreed to fight him, which didn't make any sense when he had Margarito and Williams there. Lol You also had Vernon Forrest out there too that Floyd could of fought when he was active. Forrest beat Baldomir too, you didn't see Floyd try and make that fight. And of course, Floyd waited 5 years to finally fight Pacquaio when the fight was supposed to be made in 2010. You're saying it was Pacquaio's fault, but lets clear that myth up for the viewers. And now lets dive into the blood testing since there's a narrative with that and the cheating Floyd did. He claimed Pacquaio didn't want to blood test, and that's not true!! Pacquaio at first wanted the commission to do the blood testing, not an outside agency, but Floyd didn't want to do that, he wanted his outside agency USADA that everyone knows was on his payroll(They didn't know at that time) to do all the blood testing and USADA is the same agency that the Olympic athletes were beating(Angel Herida exposed them and it's why Marquez only wanted to use USADA when he was juicing going into that Bradley fight) because they don't do carbon isotope testing. And this was even spoke about after the Mosley fight in 2010 that he would fight him as long as the commission did the blood testing. But to get back to USADA, USADA never did or does do Carbon isotope testing and they allow a 6.1 limit , however VADA does do carbon isotope testing and it's why Floyd never used VADA because he knew he would of popped because they only allowed a 4.1. limit and they did carbon isotope testing, something Pacquaio was doing for a good portion of his ww career when he adhered to the VADA testing.
Also Floyd lied to the people saying he drug tested all year round and that's also another lie because he would only drug test after his fights were announced. He got people fooled!! Pacquiao took him to court and subpoenaed his drug test results because of Floyd's accusations and Floyd settled, and I wonder why? Lol Was he hiding something? Why didn't the media address that? Lol As for the fight, when the fight was announced, Floyd did everything in his power to make sure he won that fight because he was always afraid of Manny and it's why we never got a rematch after that bullshit ass let down of a fight. Floyd had the judges, ref, venue, and drug testing agency(USADA because he didn't want VADA to do the testing for the fight) all in his favor. Now lets get to the cheating. Floyd Mayweather got a intravenous IV infusion after the weigh in which was illegal and he did that as a masking agent pumping 750 mill liters of saline and Vitamin C in his blood and he waited 30 days to finally announce he did it. And for the people who aren't aware, look up Thomas Hauser who wrote an article on PEDS and Floyd's illegal TUE!! So after Floyd got the illegal intravenous IV infusion, he got TUE for it and that wasn't the first time he got a TUE from USADA. He got it in the Mosley fight and Cotto fight for getting flagged. But did you hear the media talking about that? Lol Nope!! He never got penalized and Nevada allowed him to get away with it, just like they allowed him to get away with the intravenous IV infusion in the Pacquaio fight. And btw, Pacquaio's team asked to do the VADA but of course, Floyd didn't want to do it. He also was allowed to get lidocaine shots in his hands but Pacquaio wasn't allowed to get the Toradol shot in his shoulder which Floyd knew about the injury before hand which he admittedly spoke on.
We all know Floyd had something to do with that shit because Nevada pampered his ass all them years from all the money he brought into Vegas and the brown nosing he was doing with higher ups. People with eyes ain't stupid. That's why he never fought outside of Las Vegas, because he knew if he did, other venues wouldn't of allowed him to get away with what he wwas getting away with in Vegas.
So if you're gonna accuse Manny of taking PEDS, you need to look in the mirror at your homeboy Floyd Money Mayweather who's the biggest cheater of the last decade!!
