@Ryan Collins he clearly wants a fight with Connor in boxing or bare knuckles however he's still pretty wealthy compared to most mma fighters so he doesn't need beg like some mma fighters are atm. Also he's well known amongst boxing fans he doesn't care about being relevant anymore.

@Ryan Collins "in an actual fight" doesn't matter.. In real fights you can knee to the head on the floor, there's no ref to stand you up, you can gouge somebody's eyes and hit them in the balls.. There's no break in between... In a real fight you might even use weapons. That's a stupid parameter.

Punching power in boxing is a totally different game. Boxers hit cleaner with more precision and know how to throw with leverage which equates to more power. Look at how harder floyd puched than mcgregor

Why is he on this show? It's an mma show. He's only relevant now because of the McGregor saga. Which is why he keeps banging on about it. Here is a simple fact. He will murder all around him just boxing in the bare knuckle promotion. If he fought McGregor or any high level mma fighter in an actual fight he would have the legs kicked out from under him and he'd be beaten very badly.

@@jmiahrealone I've never watched bare knuckle, but that's what I would expect, too. I think that's the main difference, it's much easier to get your fist past the other guy's guard.
I guess you could almost say in bare knuckle there is no guard at all.
Eric S well in bare knuckle it’s hard to point fight because the more u land the more it hurts ur hands. There is less guard but u also connect with a smaller Surface ever so u wanna land as few as can and clean possible.
It is a shame that Paulie can't be more humble he is a great boxing comentator.

I don't think he understands how grueling grappling really is. To STAY in full guard or half guard for an extended period of time in professional mma (the UFC, Bellator, ONEfc, etc.) takes a tremendous amount of skill and physical exertion. Also, though mma fights are shorter in total time than boxing matches, the rounds themselves are longer. I have great respect for boxers, it's just weird when they downplay the grappling aspect of MMA like it's nothing more than something used for resting or giving up.
