Yashica Electro 35 GTN with Lomochrome Metropolis & Cinestill 800T

I take the Yashica GTN 35mm film camera out and test it with Lomochrome Metropolis and Cinestill 800T.
Filmed mainly on the trusty Fujifilm X-S10 along with the inevitable iPhone footage.

Very nice shots you took! I just today installed new lights seals in my Electro 35. A comment regarding the top lights: The yellow and red lights do not shown over- and underexposure. The yellow light means that the shutterspeed will be slow, but the exposure is correct. Therefore, if that light is on, you risk blurry, albeit well exposed pictures if you do not have the camera on a tripod. The red light means the image will be underexposed and you have to open up the aperture.
You’re right, I wanted to be ‘light’ on the technical details so I put it in a simple way but I realise I’ve not made enough sense there. Essentially I mean you’re just looking to not see any lights as the safest way to assume the photo should come out ‘correct’ and well 😅

Good job Vince! Great shoots, I need to try that film too, I love the colors in the woods. That Yashica was my first rangefinder, I liked it but did not love it.

The Electro 35 camera is definitely good. But the photographer needs to be good and also the scenery.
What kind of a new trend is this, drinking coffee on TV? This is a film about drinking coffee or photography. Soon everyone will start their videos by drinking coffee, what interests me is that the guy is thirsty. Embarrassing.
