I need to know how to get the rust off the blades and where they are attached.

The blades are attached to the base of the food disposal, could use a bit of ice in the disposal but hard to get them clean once they are super rusted

How do you remove the rubber phlanges? Or the black rubbery thing? Mine won’t pull out at all.

I thought ice was used to sharpen the blades, not clean it.

I guess it’s the same mechanical process the abrasiveness of the ice cleans and slightly sharpens

@@livingthedream923don’t use ice if you have a old disposal. It’ll make leaks and even if you have a new one, you’re still taking that chance… and garbage disposals don’t have blades.
