The Coquihalla Highway: Chilliwack to Merritt

This video follows British Columbia Highway 1 (the Trans-Canada Highway) from Chilliwack to Hope, then British Columbia Highway 5 northbound (the Coquihalla Highway) over the Coquihalla Summit and into the town of Merritt, BC.

I haven't driven past Britton Creek / Coquihalla Summit since the summer of 2021, though I plan on returning this summer! Traffic has always been brutal in those summer months, especially while they were repairing the highway, so it was always better to take one of the alternate routes. Nice work, and hope to see more from the Southern Interior!

There’s never a bad time to head up the Coquihalla. Wow it’s been a long time since I heard Binary Finary 1998. That was basically the track that got me into electronic music back in the day. Has it really been 26 years since I heard it.
