I agree but Fillion never became a movie star. And movie producers want to cast stars to help sell tickets. To people who never played the games, getting Tom Holland prob sounded like a good idea. Of course gamers knew it was going to be trash before it even finished shooting.
Morbius is the movie ever it even made morbillion dollars at the box office and has morbundred percent in every site ever and 100/10 in IMDB

Marky e.mark ruins yet another video game film over a decade after destroying my favorite video game protagonist max Payne,what makes that one even worse is that mark didn't even know that max Payne was based off a game until they were already done filming the movie.

Supposedly Mark Wahlberg was supposed to play Nathan Drake, but the movie was in production so long that they felt that he aged through the role. But they still wanted to keep him involved in the project.

What I love about the people I watch most regularly on CZcams are that despite agreeing on a lot of things, when they do disagree their viewpoint is well reasoned.
Watching Red Letter Media be fairly warm (at least comparatively) towards Halloween Ends, with you guys giving a completely different, but well reasoned view.
Same can be said with some Game Reviewers I watch too. Davidvinc and Happyconsolegamer had completely different views on Live A Live.
I think RedLettermedia are often nicer to things tha make them feel anything at all.. Which is to say that if a movie atleast tries to be kinda original theyll give it a pass even if its bad
Jurassic Park is one of those films that should have been a stand alone. But no, our love of dinosaurs got the better of us, and now look what we've done!
The producers were wrapped up in whether or not they could that they forgot to ask whether or not they should.
Regardless of the quality of the other sequels (I can't really say anything on Dominion because I haven't seen it), Jurassic World is still a super fun movie

My whole issue with Halloween ends is they start trying something new with the kid who kills that child only to just kill him off too so what was the point of making Michael Myers look like a bitch to him

Black Adam was doomed from second the Rock was casted. Black Adam is a villain. He can sometimes have interests aligned with the good guys, but he's still a villain. He's not a hero or even an anti-hero.
The Rock will not play a villain, period. The Scorpion King days are long gone. The closest he's come to the bad guy since is Luke Hobbs. And he's a straight shooting good guy, he's just the antagonist because our protagonist were criminals.
Him being accurate Black Adam was never going to happen. Him ego tripping to become the new face of the DCU just made it worse. You could see it in that he tried to make Superman his nemesis instead of Shazam. Who is Black Adam's unquestionable enemy and one of the best parts from the current DCU.

#8 I gotta say I did enjoy crimes of the future, it was very romantic and also a reminder for humans that not only are we fragile, but that we will adapt to our environment to survive, esoteric indeed but I'd love to see the universe and what wars might happen between companies or even how advanced and Geiger esk they could get or even more gore as it was pretty limited and romanticized where it could have been flashy and gory as I was hoping for :/

Saw somewhere that most of the loss Disney+ took were from India/South East Asia as a result of the cricket license moving to another network.

The reason is IPL (Indian Premier league) which is the biggest cricket league and it used to be streamed at Disney plus but now it's rights have been sold to Viacom..
Black Adam could have worked but James Gunn pulls a gun and shoots the movie down, muttering. "Oh hail Mr. Traffic and Plastic Man." AND IF IT DOES HAPPEN... WTF. Like watch Arrowverse! Depressing. Utterly depressing. Don't care about the rebooted DCU, at all.
I don't even get about Fantastic Beasts. Oh boy, it's before Voldemort with this EVIL wizard guy being our villain and it's not about the beasts. It's not like Star Wars in which we want to see the events before Episode 1. It's kinda a shame.

it's probably coming....there's more than enough trash for the bad list....but personally I haven;t seen any new shows this whole year....i caught up on Bosch watched the entire run of that, i watched a few anime shows like the Tenchi Muyo shows, my fave was a tie between the original and Tenchi in Tokyo....I knew a girl once who looked just like Saku'ya lolz
but yeah I watched a bunch of older shows....the on;y new shows I watched was season 4 of Stranger Things and season 5 of Cobra Kai but nothing else even popped up on my radar worth seeing....I haven't even watched Top Gun yet LMFAO! eh, I will eventually, I didn't even see Edgerunners until Jan 2022.....

Crimes of the feature was one of the best movies I’ve seen last year. But it definitely works more if you know cronenbergs work. It’s post-cronenberg, and it’s him asking if he can exist in this world anymore, and if his films can either.

@@zoso1up He used to be a more fun actor in the early 2000's when he was building his acting career, with movies like Scorpion King, Walking Tall and The Game Plan. His ego has taken over since his introduction to Fast and Furious and he's been extremely one-note since.

I liked hocus pocus 2 not as much as the first one but I liked it enough that I want a 3rd movie with the returning characters from the first to battle the sisters again.

I liked crimes of the future, though I get why a lot of ppl don’t. The synopsis makes it sound like classic cronenberg kind of stuff, but it really isn’t. It’s slow and definitely not the classic kind of body horror. There are some random plot points that are kind of forgotten about but it mostly keeps it’s story pretty focussed. I kind of think it’s based more in existential dread and fear of the unknown/new which can be hard to get across in a movie, but I still liked it XD the ending though made me laugh tbh I got the implication and know it wasn’t meant to be, but that shot of Viggo eating plastic and finally realising was mostly funny
To be fair, it's a Halloween movie. Michael Meyers gets his ass kicked in every movie. In the original movie Jamie Lee Curtis takes off his mask and beats the living dog shit out of him.
Coolio Karate kicks his ass into a new dimension later.
The one thing you can count on with Freddie, Jason and Michael is that they will get their asses kicked by little girls and fail.
I loved the first 2 Halloween remakes just because I love Micheal Myers, but Ends was literal dog shit because they were so confused on the direction and it was so clear the whole time. Such a waste of money for me.
Dishonorable mentions: Every single comic book film of last year. All of them. Not a single one of them was better than "eh sure" and I RARELY ever say that.
Michael Myers gets old in the newer halloween series, which isn't rob zombies movie, or John carpenters, even though John carpenter: gets the credit for the halloween movie series, that he came up with for grabs from other people now.
Everybody feels sorry about Tom Hanks in Pinnochio, but don't forget it was directed by Robert Zemeckis...yep the same one of Back to the future trilogy, Forrest Gump, Roger Rabbit, Castaway, etc.
I hated the "no gun rule" in JW Dominion...the scenario where the big black dude had a gun but wouldnt shoot the raptor was fkn stupid to me.
