It actually just looks like they repurposed the boost pack mechanics and made them boost laterally instead, put a dune buggy skin on top and called it a day. If you watch the video it has a boost meter that runs out just like O2 does. I guarantee it won’t be any quicker than what we had before because the engine literally can’t handle it 😂
This is why Bethesda didn't want to do them in the first place, they dug themselves so deep in a hole with this game, there's always going to be problems no matter how you try to fix it...

@@bryanar4134 Yea, that´s what sucks the most about it- Cyberpunk, which deserved the revisit, especially with such an amazing expansion, didn´t get it. And I can bet you that he will actually revisit Starfield, which will be just disappointment, not worth it at all. Not to mention- Joe is missing out on such a great story with Phantom Liberty.

Not happening, Starfield has neither the bones(foundation), nor does it have developer skilled enough for those kind of changes(overhauls).

NMS didn't get overhauled. they just added all (most) the things they had originally promised (and some that weren't)

(Star Citizen). It launched extremely bare only had 1 npc all the ships fly exactly the same (pretty sure this hasn't changed) So yes he lied and is a liar.
I legitimately forget that Starfield is actually a game. Every time someone mentions it, I think they're talking about Star Citizen, which I've never played.
Maybe in 10 years the Legendary edition of Starfield will come out with everything that was promised. I'll wait to buy it until then 😅

Also, Alan Wake 2 surprisingly had a lot of gameplay to it, but the Story of course is the main focus.

Bethesda need to hide the space travel loading screens by letting us fly through the ‘grav jump’ swirling lights wormhole thing - to maintain the illusion of a seamless travel
BGS hid loading screens with elevators in Fallout 4, so it can be done! & improves immersion
Being able to fly our ship between planets in a solar system would also be a good addition, imo
for the third thing you said correct me if I'm wrong but, I don't think the engine of the game is capable of doing that, hence why you couldn't walk around the planet like in no man's sky, or land on a planet in no mans sky, Bethesda need to find a way to improve or better yet or use a brand new engine that is capable
Freelancer did it right over 20 years ago.
Like the engine is is fine for games like skyrim and fallout cause its all one big map, but its doesn't work with starfield cause its the whole planet. if those barriers wasn't their you can continue moving but the game will eventually become unstable and crash, because the games engine isn't good enough

You do know that Angry Joe has an eye condition, right? I forgot what he called it, but it causes his vision to have a bleeding effect when staring at bright colors.
_All_ kernel-level drivers start with the system. That's the point of it being installed to Ring-0. Vanguard was just the Anti-Cheat that was _caught_ being nefarious. We need to get rid of kernel-level AC in general.
Why are you reporting that Riot Vanguard is a bad anti-cheat? it is universally praised as an amazing anti cheat that made valorant and league completely cheater free, theres a reason why every single competitive games fanbase is begging for kernel level anti cheat.

Remember when we felt about The Witcher the way we feel about Fallout and we were wanting more seasons? Then we got them.
True, however I think the potential of fallout is higher as it seems to be more accurate to the source than the witcher started. So while the witcher started falling off quicker, fallout has more buffer room maybe before they fall

Fallout has more flexibility on how it can move forward and has an easier job managing established past lore as its currently placed at a time after the games and events we've seen.
@@CrazyEights1231 Except it isn't. A bunch of the lore was changed and legacy characters like House behaved nothing in the game. It's so clear that the showrunner only played Fallout 3, that's a game that had no regard for lore internal consistency and lore.

I remember when the first dead island came out i was so excited to play i went to my closest store to buy the disc and noticed space marine next to it. I bought both and didn't even touch dead island until i finished space marine. Can't wait for space marine 2!

Funny how they talk about Kernal level in Riot games, While Helldivers 2 uses the same Kernel level anti-cheat.
I don't think the reason Homelander is voiced by someone else isn't because Warner Bros doesn't have enough money, I think it's more likely that Anthony Starr didn't want his appearance to be in Mortal Kombat because he doesn't want to see himself get brutalized and cut into pieces in fatalities, but since Amazon owns Homelander's appearance from the TV show they decided to make some money. Anthony seems to get genuinely upset anytime someone talks about him not voicing Homelander in Mortal Kombat.

The game is there!!!! The foundation is there and it's awesome! I can't believe they released it the way it was having a literal slam dunk of a foundation and failing to capitalize. Empty worlds with nothing, bland main quest design, cutscenes to go into space rather than really giving players the control they wanted. It KILLS me because it was such an easy win
For the starfield “dune buggy” Bethesda has to give it the same creation system as the space ship, if you can craft your own custom buggy maybe even have mounted weapon systems… THAT is what they have to do to make it right.
Kind of wish the Space Marine 2 PvP had you okay as a Hormagaunt or Termagaunt. Maybe a Carnifex would be more on par with a Space Marine but either way.

V Rising has single player offline mode now. They are putting in a relaxed mode too for a more sandbox experience. There are a bunch of settings to make single player game more challenging or less challenging. After around 50hours I was burned out on pvp aspect since it was resource-consuming and did not offer any benefits unless you were raiding others for resources.
I also want to add Alan Wake 2 never came to physical. I’m still waiting on a significant sale for a digital only game. If it came out on a disc I would’ve bought it day one
Physical is pretty much dead at this point. Sales from physical are nothing these days and certainly not enough to be significant in terms of bolstering sales numbers.
72% of video games sold on consoles during 2022 were digital, while boxed video games accounted for 28% (not including Nintendo since they do not publish sales data). If you add PC digital sales to the console numbers that shot up to 94% of all sales being digital in 2022. Those numbers will not have declined.
Discs are dodos. It is what it is. It's certainly not going to be changed.
The biggest factor for AW2 was that fact that it's an EGS exclusive. That alone kills a game's sales numbers. People just do not seem to buy their games on there in large numbers. It's OK Time Sweeney crowing about how many users his platform has but they have continually lost money since inception, and most people that have it only have it to pick up the freebies each week. As soon as they end those (and you have to assume at some point that's a possibility...it's costing them money after all) then people will drop it faster than hot brick.
w/ Alan Wake 2, i know it made cards that doesnt support it obsolete due to the demand in the market. i now hope more games use Mesh shader its more flexible and so can be more optimize.

Microsoft needs to ban kernel level anti-cheat, as it's a MASSIVE security risk!... They apparently care so much about PC security, that they mandated TPM 2.0 for Windows 11 security, which is imo, an entirely unnecessary level of security for most people. They are allowing software that's exceptionally vulnerable to hackers, a direct path to full control over your PC.
That's like trying to build a sealed room that can be unlocked form the outside (one a skilled lock picker could easily get in)
I had issues with new update of LOL it is unplayable, glitches freezes lags briefly every button press/click/tab input and in combat, there’s a lot of clicks
I've said it before and I'll say it again: I forgot about 'Control' because of it being an Epic-exclusive (as I just don't care to even reset my password for it, which I usually don't even forget) and then didn't care enough once it came out on Steam. I ended up getting it in a bundle for like 2 Dollars. - Sorry, Remedy, but not so sorry. And the same is probably going to happen with "AW2". - I just don't care at this point and at some point I'll be reminded like "Oh, it was one of the best games of that year." (at least creatively) and I'll find it for little money and perhaps let it sit in my library for another year. - So I'll probably play it by 2027.
big shocker that a horror game sequel to a game from like a decade ago that released digital only with no steam release didn't sell that well....
None of those are as significant a factor as it being an Epic Games Store exclusive.

Epic funded development of Alan Wake 2 so it's quite possible it never comes to Steam, they've already confirmed Alan Wake 3 is coming so Epic were clearly happy with how many people it got using their store.

Starfield basically needs to do to its in game systems what Cyberpunk 2077 did to its in game systems to make it good. While Starfield didn't have nearly the levels of bugs and general unplayability as Cyberpunk, they both suffered from bad in game systems at launch.
i noticed how helldivers was putting in updates like crazy meanwhile bethseda on that old engine is taking months for starfield. They need to swap to unreal or something.

The creation engine undoubtedly has its flaws but there’s perks for owning your own software. For example, the thing that’s personally of use to me is their proprietary tools making modding SO so easy. Genuinely, no other public software out there comes close when having to implement imo. Thats why it has such a crazy modding scene. Very few games come close to that same sheer amount of support.
Not to mention, you saw what happened with Unity? Thats another reason why developers engineer their own tech. They’re not at risk of others failures nor costs.
@JayTraversJT Yeah, but when your tech can no longer power modern games, it's time to put it to bed. Had star field released 7 years ago, it would've been great and accepted. But it's extremely dated, and no doubt ES6 is on the dame engine, so it will likely flop hard as well. Especially because the modding scene isn't there for them to take from and apply to their new game.
@@ccgodthe creation engine doesn't need to be replaced for another, they need to give it the valve treatment, they need to seriously overhaul the creation engine so it can handle bigger games and complex tasks. Bethesda has seriously been slacking when upgrading their engine, all they did is add tape and gum to it to save costs.

I don't watch TV shows but the Fallout hype swept me up and now I'm playing New Vegas (again) and really having a blast!!
It's such a shame that Alan Wake 2 didn't sell enough. I've always been a huge fan of the series and I waited for years for the sequel to finally release. Not having a physical release definitely hurt sales but not releasing on Steam was a death sentence for it.

I have little doubt that Bethesda will make the Starfield vehicle/buggy only available as part of the first paid dlc and the dlc will cost between $30 to $50. There's no way they're gonna give it to us in an update for free. Especially since they don't think the vehicle is even all that necessary. Hope I'm wrong.

I love how the people who made Fallout were like Dear Fans were going in our own direction and not delving deep into the lore so we hope you enjoy it still please don’t hurt us like Halo. And then they devoted a whole plot line to showing the deep lore of vault tech pre war and it was awesome
FYI, Alan Wake 2 is pretty good. Very different from a lot of single player games I've played.
Kenel level anti-cheat is utterly useless. It adds 1 step essentially to the development of cheats and leaves you exposed if the anti-cheat system is compromised. Not worth having.

No game with a budget of over 1 mill should even consider going epic exclusive. It makes some sense for super indie titles (although still not ideal) but it's just dumb for anyone else.
What starfield needs is more hand crafted maps on it's planets.

Oh, a few of my friends were talking about how XDefiant was supposed to be the next good fps title. I didn't know until now that it was an Ubisoft game. Guess I'll wait a few months after release since they're a business that cannot be trusted.
