I contacted them using the email address. I got replacement slides for my 23yr old tool box, I ordered some tools about a year ago and the lineman pliers were very stiff to actuate . I contacted them about this issue and the stated it’s a known issue and could ship me another pair, but would probably have the same issue. I had them ship me another pair (had the same issue as advised) but they didn’t want the other pair returned. Great experience everytime.

Sent my CT725AQC in for refurbishing (QC is QuickChange for the 1/4in hex chuck) and actually ended up taking to the person working on it. Being an uncommon model there were some parts they couldnt replace that were unique to it. They did want they could with part shared on other models, even asked if I wanted a different color body/shell. Thing came back running like new! Super prompt service too, repair was turned around in a week.

I literally have had them warranty stuff I altered myself without a hiccup. As long as you own that tool and they know you paid for it they will be nice to you. I remember when I used to buy tools on ebay they rejected me for warranties. Soon as I built a relationship with them directly they are super nice about warranties. I am a DIY guy and I wonder why anyone who is having attitude problems with the truck guy would not just go to Snappy directly. I keep my receipts in my safe because they are money. Lol Thanks for sharing Clay but I already knew you'd be alright on this one.

Sorry about your pliers but I can't lie; it was great to see Hamilton in one of your videos again , even of it was only a still photo. The weak link in the Snap On on-line warranty process is they are going to go to great lengths to properly package, label and address your replacement pair and then hand them to a middle aged union goon wearing brown shorts and matching socks who drives an over sized brown truck with the word "OOPS" misspelled on the side in huge 4' tall letters where they will go to great lengths to fold, bend, crush, spindle and mutilate your package and take their sweet time doing it.

But I'm sorry if you have other local snap-on dealers they sure as hell better warranty it for you their representative the company even if you didn't buy it from them. I've had friends who told me crappy stories about new people taking over their Snap-on route and not wanting to warranty the products they bought from the older person and I've heard many stories like that. The truck franchisees are self-employed and pay their own rent and fuel. Some people Do The Right thing even when it costs them a little (time and shipping.) Some see it as an investment in future business. And some don't think it will pay off for them personally, so to hell with you.
A local franchisee would be more likely to see service as an investment in possible future sales. Otherwise you're asking someone to drive over to pick up and service a tool for someone they can't even sell to.
I have some Snap-on tools but I'm just a DIYer, no rep. I'm happy to see how this warranty process works. Sorry you lost Hamilton, but this helped me!
