- Meet the founders of the Uhuru Community & Training Center and their team, including brother Bami from @WitnessOurDivine Hear the story of two community- centered diasporans who have single- handedly changed the face & the meaning of COMMUNITY here in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. They have built this much needed center from the ground up with virtually no outside financial support. Now it's time to pour back into the center, just as they have poured into the community.

Nice convo! Get your community registered with the government and be in contact with local authorities and your biz licenses will move faster. Individuals will struggle with unclear rules & bottlenecks. This center can be a resource center.

Enjoyed the video as well. I arrived in Tanzania 🇹🇿 on June 20th in Dar for 2 n half weeks....2 weeks in Arusha...1 week in Shinyanga and now I'm back in Arusha starting my 3rd month. I like it...miss the water though (originally from Florida).

For sure it's a couple channels out there that are gonna get people caught up. Most people are moving 8,000 miles away from family & friends into the unknown, & some of these channels are just like "be positive, and breathe in" and I'm like where can I apply for a job and how much is rent, and man this female thought I was being upset because I asked a question. I unsubscribed I'm pretty sure nicely asking questions about survival isn't being rude. Anywho, but yeah you keeping it real and positive is appreciated sis.
