She does! Since the day she came out of my womb, she’s had these eyes. I call her my teacher, because through those eyes, I have a lot to learn. Everyone says their baby has been here before, but I truly feel it with Luna. There’s this wisdom she has, and I can feel it and see it in her presence at such a young age. I say it’s the ancestors.

Bless you, because I had 2 c sections & even with the US meds, I was in excruciating pain around day 2-3! I'm for natural healing, but when it comes to major surgery the hell with that, give me drugs 😂. Congratulations on your beautiful lil baby girl 💞
I had a c-section first, & then with other pregnancy afterwards vaginal, both hurt because if you're cut or rip down there it stings while healing up and when you go to urinate, but the cesarean was so painful I could barely move & needed help even doing basic things. I just had to ditch the oxycodone though, because it's an opiod that can make you high & can be addictive PLUS I didn't like the side effects I read for nursing moms with that drug

See, I had the opposite experience with healing with my 1st c-section. It was a breeze. I was younger though so that may have something to do with it lol but you’re right, those heavy drugs are terrible for mom and the baby. I will always prefer natural over anything. But at the end of the day, I’m just happy I had a smooth, safe delivery. 🖤

It's been a long time since I saw you. I've been an original follower and so happy that you have a second child.
As a Caribbean woman, I've heard, since I was young, that once you've had a c-section, then you always will. To be honest, I don't know if that has changed since. However, tradition seems to stick around 😊. The key here is that you had a safe delivery for you and the baby. It does take time to heal from a c-section. No wonder the most high did not choose this unnatural way of delivery.
Anyway, I'm happy for you. You've come a long way, Original CZcamsr 😊. Stay safe❤

Thanks so much for sharing. Interesting about the policy on c-sections there. The US forced me to have 3 failed inductions, then c-section with my 1st. I'm hoping for a vbac this time around if all goes well 🙏🏾
Yeah it’s really disheartening to be honest. Hoped next time around I can have a natural birth at home. We go through so much sometimes!
