To be honest, CZcams failed on this one. I watch tutorials on CZcams, and I check whether the content is good by likes versus dislikes. CZcams return back the dislike button. Stop controlling people.

Imagine not being able to see the star rating of a business on Google Maps before visiting or the star rating of a product on Amazon before buying. Being able to see the ratio of likes to dislikes on a video on CZcams was similar to seeing how many “stars” it had.

I think this is one of the worst things CZcams has ever done. Like Pewds, when I click on a video, I can immediately tell if it’s clickbait by the dislike counter. Even though the intention was to help small content creators, I believe this harms everyone except big content creators. Example: I'm a user browsing for content, I see PEW every one knows him and likes his content, I see another unknown content creator, not many views not many likes not many subs, I am obviously going to watch PEW and not the the unknown person. Criticism is what allows people to grow. If a kid falls on a bicycle he knows how to ride, you don't give him a tricycle, you motivate or help him/her to get up and try again. it's very disappointing how sensitive the new generation is, i.e: no dislike, in cod kills are now eliminations (its ok don't feel bad that someone stole your kill or that you suck, we'll give it to the both of you), in some games there are no scoreboards at all.. cringing at the thought of what's next

The like/dislike ratio is such a great tool for viewers to know, at a glance, if a video is worth watching or not. Creators already had the option to hide the likes/dislikes on their videos. This change just feels pointless and inconveniences everyone.

CZcams also removed " Sort By Oldest Video" option on YT Mobile.
(It's was most likely done so folks can't easily dig up dirt on Channels that's been around for a long time and have over 1000 videos)
CZcams does the opposite of what people want.

If they actually do remove the dislike video, the top comment on almost every video is going to be - “Use this comment as a dislike button” and it’s going to be awful

The worst part about this feature is that we can no longer conclude that a Tutorial video is legit or scam just by looking at the Like-Dislike Ratio like earlier.
CZcams just made it more easy for people to clickbait us and give us tough time finding the genuine content which we needed. This is sick.
CZcams is just protecting some people who deserve the amount of dislikes.

YT said removing visibility of dislikes changes how the button is used. They're right. In fact, I'm gonna start disliking even more intentionally now. From now on, if I don't love the video, it gets a dislike.

Really love it how they removed dislikes is because people are being negative. Some people think they wanna commit suicide or wanna kill someone because of feeling rejected in life and on-screen.
This with double unskipable ads is making me really hate using the app

According to youtube, viewers may think it means the video is bad (which is true). They don't say anything about scammers though.
Just a side note: Years ago I almost died from watching a poorly informed CZcams video. It was a knot tying video and the knot was to be used on harnesses when climbing trees. The knot was wrong and I nearly died from knot slippage. Anyhow, It was in the beginning of CZcams and I never looked at the comment section or like/dislike ratios until after that video. Now a video producer can hide both the comments and the dislikes....
They need to be held accountable if people get hurt or scammed because of this removal which causes people to not know if something’s harmful or a scam.

That's true, the amount of scams I avoided just by looking at the dislikes really helped me. Now they're just removing it :/
