its actually terrifying how much you can mess up another human being by not being able to say no
woke sjw compilations sure prove that
Man. I hate to say it but i have an adopted brother who is 7. Im 26. This kid has everything I could have ever dreamed of and more at his age. Yet he goes to school, bullies other kids, breaks shit, and threatens to kill anyone who opposes him. He has had the cops called on him. He is on the spectrum, but he isnt stupid. He just acts on every impulse he has. He doesnt care about consequences and he lies about what happened even if it is caught on camera. Its fucked. I wish I could be his age and put him in his place. He cries like a little bitch whenever he gets hurt, but doesnt give a shit when he hurts someone else. It pisses me off. I have a kid of my own and I wont let them near him. He doesnt even get punished properly. I remember having my toys and shit thrown away and being grounded for weeks on top of getting my ass beat for small things. He doesnt give a fuck about anything man.
all the parents need to do is just stop buying him shit

Theres actually a distant relative I know who is raising their kid without using the word no, as in other people aren't allowed to tell their kid no... Like I could not think of a better way to make the worst human imaginable.

It's definitely on the parents. Kids aren't born this way, they've been raised this way. You can tell how much they enable this behaviour from Nico.
Especially by the ending. They seem to act like they are innocent bystanders, but they are unaware how much they’re enabling his actions

This family should be going to real therapy. I highly doubt humiliating the kid on national tv is gonna do them any good

Dr Phil just wanted money and ratings. He’s not even a real doctor. I feel bad for the kid.
This is so infuriating. These parents have created a monster because they're too lazy to be actual parents. The child is horrific, but he didn't get that way on his own. This is borderline abusive, you've completely neglected your role as a parent to this boy that he's become an absolute menace.
Yep.
yeppp and then everyone wants to blame him for his behavior that they taught
Okay but the mom doesn’t have much power cause she’s in a wheel chair and the dad is completely useless 💀
If the mom wasn’t in a wheel chair she would be able to actually take form him things, like him in his room and actually punish him for being an ungrateful and rude son.
@@Uchiha.Itachii I mean I don’t blame the mom. But what type of man is the dad. Like, your son is abusing your wife, and this heavily committed dad decides to do nothing. Absolutely nothing to help his own wife.
That PlayStation needs to be smashed to a million pieces in front of the child then he'll learn
As a parent, it's totally a parenting thing. One of my kids has been through phases similar to this, maybe not to this level. If I hear him being rude or disrespectful to his mum or brother or another player he gets a warning. If he does it again he's banned for the day. If he escalates it, it's a week. You get 10 minutes of tears and then he's outside playing with his brother.

If the parents told him he was going to a Call of Duty simulation type of thing, he woulda made it all the way through.
I used to have a gaming addiction as well when I was younger, but luckily for me my parents were much more careful about my habit. They would limit my playing time to 2 hours a day, which in retrospect I’m thankful they did. I don’t have that limit anymore, but I feel like me growing out of the addiction has earned me the right to take care of myself. Still, I’m so grateful to have parents who actually knew how to handle obsessions like that. To think that there was a chance I could’ve ended up like this kid, who is the same age as me mind you, is horrifying.
They cannot say no to him, that is the problem. I live by myself, have 10 or 12 hours work days, depending of the day of the week, go to bed VERY late because of gaming and still get all my shit done. Been gaming before I moved out but NEVER talked that way to my parents. Literally was doing cocaine, speed and weed for years while I was living with them, had some tough times trying to quit and STILL never talked that way to them because I knew what would happen if I did. If you don't raise your kids right they won't shower with no addictions at all
It's horrible to think that any child could be growing up like this.
I mean how much can you blame the kid vs the parents... he probably has some serious anger issues but theyve probably been fueling this behavior for years and years
Do my name 😁 😁 😁
Then he'll turn 18, and all the blame the parents were stowing away gets dumped on the newly christened adult. They'll do him further disservice by shielding him from responsibility for a few more years, and late into his 20's he'll be forced out into a world he's not prepared for. And like some royal title, the blame he carries will get more legitimate the longer you carry it.
Ah yes hello child psychologist
Tbf the dad literally seems to be dying of stress and exhaustion from work (and dealing with the kid). I've seen what far lower levels of stress have done to people and that guy needs a serious break
@@serclfs Or worse. At any rate, this will not end well for the 3 of them.
As a person who works with troubled kids... 80% of the kids behaviors is from/because of the parents. I have met very few messed up kids without them having messed up parents.
this, sadly
People take parenting too lightly and defend bad parenting by sloughing off responsibility to the kid. It's annoying.
Most parents fail pretty miserably when it comes to a child's emotional and social education.
Also, I can almost guaruntee that the kids with criminal tendancies were from majority single mother households or homes where the father isn't present or known.

I knew a kid like this. He'd climb out of bed and go straight to WoW without showering, shout at his mother for food, his dad would come to his door, whine at him, get ignored then walk away. When his dad died he started choking his mother and slammed her head in the car door. She finally called police it took 6 cops to drag him kicking and screaming from the house they put him in a mental institution. He was smart enough to play along until they released him then he went right back to what he was doing before he was institutionalized. His parents were rich and own the house, so i guess when his mum dies he'll get the house and an inhetitance and die gaming young
That's terrible!
It's not gamer rage. It's bad parenting that escalated to the point that the parents realized they created a monster and need help now. They created this
I have a family I know, very decent parents with proper way to raise kids, 2 of the kids are so nice, and one is just messed up. And her mom cried in front of her asking what can she do, dad did everything to fix it, and even now when the kids has become an adult, they care for her and always ask if she needs smth, her brothers tried to talk to her, I tried - but it’s like she can’t hear, I honestly think there’s some problems from birth

This poor kid needs therapy and some decent parents. His father keeps resorting to anger, and his mother compensates for it by letting him do whatever he wants. Hope he gets better and gets an education to get out there in the world
My theory is that the kid hates his parents and get sad around them, the gaming is a distraction from his parents. That kid needs to be alone in the house for a week, he needs to cry ,lisen to sad music and reflect. His mind has not had the time to think or reflect over the gaming situasion beacus the gaming is a distracion and takes up all his brain. After a week of benig alone and reflecting he needs to go to terapi, he does not trust his parents and a therapift will help.
Lol you say he needs another person to validate his degen behiviour.
What this kid needs is consequences
Poor kid? Nah, he’s a POS who physically abuses his mom. He, genuinely, belongs in juvie. Would fix his gaming “addiction” too. This is textbook, once he reaches 18 and continues hurting his mom, it’ll be prison. No going back from that

I think you were in the right direction with "the kid isn't happy either". At no point did Phil or the parents even consider the fact the kid had issues from the beginning which made school bad for him. Video games are FAR more often than not an outlet for another issue that is completely ignored. I imagine this kid's primary issues to begin with were: absent Father spending 2hrs a day at home and very obviously faking passing out when he has to deal with conflict, kid probably being bullied at school and thus dropping out, and a disabled Mother who also has absolutely no conflict resolution skills. I'd assume his entire life was geared towards this outcome.

And I'm not ableist, I'm autistic myself and just because I'm different doesn't give me an excuse to not work on my issues. I've never hit a person, no matter how intense my emotions are it's my job to understand and control them.
Just want to point out that the dad is not necessarily faking, there are a couple of medical conditions that can cause this type of behaviour. First one that came to my mind immediately is cataplexy, it’s when your muscles just give out, and it genuinely usually happens when you have a strong emotional reaction! It’s associated with narcolepsy, which makes you lose any rythm and control to your wake/sleep cycles. The second one could be catatonia, which can present as immobility/deactivation where the person just gets stuck in a position and can’t won’t move or react OR excessive/uncontrolled mobility/movements and activation. Catatonia is related to different psychiatric disorders, like schizophrenia, bipolar, even depression etc.

@@edwardweaver6869 to add on, people associate discipline with hitting. It's a lot more than that, it's essentially means training them, when they do bad they are punished and redirected, when they do good, the good is acknowledged. That is how a child becomes disciplined
@@troblesomegentleman4438 the belt is scarier honestly
Lets be real, the mom is a huge enabler and loves being one. Regardless of how people feel about spanking their kids, the father at least tried something but was immediately blocked by the mom recording them. And based on them (but i think mainly her) pulling their kid out of the camp, im positive she enjoys enabling him for the most part. Shes clearly one of those clingly parents that usually raise mamas boys where she has to be the priority in their life. Im sure if the kid just took a bath at least, she would be happy with whatever else hes doing.

It's actually quite a good thing they pulled him out of the camp. Those places are often the definition of child abuse
The enemy can not push a button if you disable his hands ... Lol.. starship troopers
I used to have gaming addiction issues but never this bad. This kid makes my old self look like a goddamn angel. I at least ate went to the bathroom and bathed.
There are so many problems with this situation it's actually pissed me off. First, as a parent you shouldn't even let your kid have that much power over you I know the mom is disabled and there are some difficulties regarding that which sucks, but she obviously has problems that aren't related to her disabilities if she let her kid become like that. Also the dad is terrible at disciplining, when your kid isn't listening you shouldn't threaten them and beat them, you can just take their privileges away (video games is a great privilege to take away). Finally, if the situation with disciplining your kid has become too extreme, the last thing you should do is go to Dr. Phil where your child will be ridiculed, just take them to a regular professional or something. Anyways, I hope the parents get their shit together so their child can actually thrive in the future, it sucks to see a situation like this and I feel bad for parents, but much more I feel bad for the child.
Yep literally. The father is abusive, the mother is disabled. The kid is probably bullied at school. And I wouldn’t be surprised if he had some kind of mental or cognitive disability as well. It’s very sad seeing people watch this stuff and make fun of the situation. Like how is an abusive household funny or entertaining? Especially with a child involved????
Dad’s prolly always been raging, & the mom has been overprotective of her child. Dad needed therapy the most.
This is pretty spot on. It's easy to take the easy route and blame videogames and disrespectful children but there's clearly a deeper issue here. I hope they all get better as someone who has personally gone through something similar in the past.
Woah woah woah, beating your child is never an option, that's abuse and it will hurt your child physically on the short term and mentally on the long term, it is also illegal and just simply has been proven to not work at all in disciplining your child, if anything it makes things worse, so there is no reason to ever do it. Grounding them or taking away privileges is completely fine, but physical or mental abuse is never an option
@@VaasMontenegro12 completely wrong. Black kids don't disrespect their parents and they grow up with that. White kids are the ones that do all this shit, white suburban brats. The smack is what is sorely lacking in the young generational collective psyche

Games aren't bad. It's when people spend horrendous amounts of hours playing them without actually being part of society.
Everything is for people, if you can control it and dont let it overcome you, having a kid for these 2 is wayyy too much tho

Man if I acted like this to my parent's I'd been in a coffin

If I ever treated my parents like this I probably wouldn't have grown up with a full set of teeth
that sounds like a way healthier environment honestly
No I just probably wouldn't have grown up💀
I would of grown a coffin and 6 feet deep into the ground.
Man yall would exist?!!!???????!!? I would just CEASE-
If that was my kid he’d probably not be able to walk or talk, I’d put his little ass in place real quick
Love how "Dr." Phil never suggests a person can have a treatable mental disorder like borderline or bipolar. His cure is always "stop it."
Dad’s the one with the mental issues. The kid is responding as kids do… getting lost in another world.
Thing is , any psychiatrist wouldnt recommend making a diagnosis that young
while this kid is absolutely mentally ill, he’s also too young to be diagnosed with personality disorders
@Joxy Surge yes but lot of kids are still treated when they are out of control becuase it's not normal and they need help. Just cuase a kid not an adult doesn't mean they can't be treated with depression in fact alot of depression in teen is irritability and aggression
This kid does not go to school or socialize I’m pretty sure doctors don’t just want to jump to diagnosing people and throwing pills at them when certain behavioral issues can be changed through a changed lifestyle
is it just me who was a bit scared of this boy. How angry that boy gets isn't normal.
Looked like Dr.Phil smoked a bag before sponsering the game
What a well adjusted child seems like a joy to spend time with.
Seems like a nice respectful child who is respectful to his family and showers daily and has a moderation on video games
He is my brother
Ah yes, a respectable young man with a great future ahead of him!
can confirm, very fun to be around
I felt so bad for this kid while watching this just imagine if he cleans his act up and then he has to deal with the embarrassment of when he was a 14 year old
His parents should of taken him to a proper psychiatric for real help long ago instead of humiliating him on tv.
but if he does clean up his act, and shows it, he’ll have all the more respect from people who saw him as a 14 year old.
It's fake...

Wow what a good video The boy was so nervous when dr fill was talking to him 😅
Bet he started the letter home “hello mudder hello fadder here I am at”
The fact that they don't see he's getting this behavior from his father is crazy. Kids usually aren't just naturally angry like that.
Edit: I'm sorry to have pissed people off but y'all are just ignorant if you think learned behaviors are not a real thing. Just do some research on it. Yes children can have anger naturally but you can't ignore the correlation between his behavior and his father's in this case. This kid is clearly miserable and had a terrible home life which has led him to use the games as an escape.
💯
learned to be utterly pathetic and useless from his mother and learned to be uncontrollably angry from his father, great combo
Possible but I doubt he is getting it from the father, and idk where you get your facts from but many kids are naturally angry like that.
have you ever had contact with kids like this? or you speak from seeing your cousins or siblings? if yes then you shouldn't speak on it
You're insane if you think he's getting it from the father whose there literally 2 hours a day.
It is the mothers doing, I've known children like this including my own brother. She caves and gives him quite literally everything he wants. I would bet my HOUSE that she made the decision to pull mommies little boy from the camp.
This kids definitely learned a lot of his verbal behavior towards his mom from how his dad treats her. The way he talked to her allowed this kid to see her as the punching bag too. Ofc he’s in control of his own actions and should be held accountable but a child doesn’t become like this unless they are seeing it plus being spoiled. They do not say no to him.

I’m getting delayed vibes from this kid, but the parents fall over at any resistance from him and it allowed their son to become an entitled monster. He learned he could get away with whatever he wanted. They allowed this. 😢
Exactly what I was saying I have autism and can sense it a mile off
no consequence breeds no conscience
worked with autistic kids/adults for nearly a decade - kid is socially estranged due to negative behavior reinforcement via parents
not autistic lol
can speak, can express emotions, can work his parents for money, etc
Special school and special care starting with word "No" would have prevented this. Now he is just human waste gonna go trough though phase when he's adult. Or live with the parents until old age.
Bro actually called them gaming tokens 💀💀💀
They got sick with him. They all need that program
Honestly I'd feel so ashamed as a parent to have to let a TV personality step in and take parental control of my child's life for his ginormous audience
have to?
Agree!! Have two sons who really like to play these games - but the rules were clear from the start: sience I bought this stuff it's all mine. Use it and have fun but if there's any gaming related problems regarding sleep, school and so on: No games. Like I wouldn't let you use the hammer if you hurt anyone w it either
Side note, that dad really needs help. He definitely has a medical condition of he blacks out from stress or rage.

In my honest opinion I don't think it's a really a medical condition. I think it's more like his brain typically shuts down (like mine does) when you hold back immediate rage for too long. I'm sure if that kid was 20 something they would fight. I think he just gives out after holding back too long.
