I never thought I’d say this but as a person with ptsd I agree. Waking up in random hotel rooms and or being waken up can’t lead to anything good. There’s a reason we don’t take literal kids to concert. I do believe that they can grow up and realize it was all part of the package but that can be a huge gamble as well, like who’s to say that they’ll turn out ok. The problem with grown adults like them is that even when facing the right decisions too much ego involved.

After all Joe turned out to be like most other men. You know the kind who calls you to announce the baby woke up when you’re out on a night out with your friends after months/ years of being a stay at home caretaker and mom.
I don't know how you got insights into such personal details of their private lives, but being a home caretaker and mom is not the only thing you're getting from Jonas, you are also getting status, security, a beautiful house, financial backing, everything you need to have, and you don't need to wake up every morning so your boss and random strangers can suck up your soul little by little for a few dollars per hour.
If all that is so horrible because they are repressing your desire to get drunk in bars, then you're no wife/mother material.

There are so many successful men who "drag" their families around like army career men, business men, sales men, finance people etc. the list is long. It is selfish of you to assume all those men are happy moving around instead of thinking how they work hard so their family can have an easy life; men have taken the hardness and beatings of life for thousands of years so their women and children can have it easier, it's in their nature to do so and many women are still very happy with a provider that takes the burdens of life away from them, Jonas is such a hard worker and family provider. It is also nauseating and vomit-worthy calling a stay at home mom a "homebody", what is wrong with you? Motherhood is sacred, what gives you the moral high ground to talk down on female nature and women who choose that kind of life in such derogatory terms?

Maybe they both chose for the kids to be with him because he has more time to be with them? It’s common for actors to work 12-16 hour days, whereas Joe’s concerts are mostly at night time when the kids are in bed already, so he can spend a large portion of the day with them. None of us really know their reasonings.
I think he either refused to let her take them or talked her into because he's been planning on divorce for awhile. He did want the kids to be out of the country when he filed.
Joe's kids will have Nick's kid and Kevin's kids to play with.

They only separated on the 21st of August and then he filed for divorce on the 1st of September while Sophie is miles away despite the fact she was due to return in the middle of September. He didn't have the decency to wait for her and have a face to face meeting and agree with a plan for the sake of the kids. He knew the kids were due to return to England on the 20th and he wanted to stop it.

As a parent, I need to say that a child needs both parents. It doesn’t matter if they move around because kids are resilient and as long as they have both parents they are able to do their best in life with no resentment. Or felling something is missing or wrong, or unloved. 😢
Lots of kids go on tour with parents. Lots of actors work 12 or more hours a day. If the parents agree to it, its ok.
I disagree with you Joy. Children should spend at the least every other weekend with their divorced parent, and holidays. Or if they live in the same state shared weekly time. Children love both their parents and until they get to an age where they want to spend more time with one over the other, should have full access to both their parents. Divorce needs to be uncomfortable for both parents, because it is not about them, but their children.
I think what she's talkin about is maybe the babies stay in one house and the parents live week-on-week off in the kids' house so the kids never moved... It's what I suggested my ex chose the old go out for milk and don't come back route... Buy milk I mean his friends wife and his assistant manager and his other friends girlfriend and a friend from high school and ... Lol

These kids are with their many cousins, uncles and aunts every night… they are all touring together. I would assume their grandparents are coming along often as well. That seems to be the best place for children amidst divorce to be- with family.
Joys opinion sounds much like one of an 80 year old. These kids are not yet school age so being on tour with their family is fine. There are some families where the entire family goes on tour together. People can make that work.

I think it's because the tour is multiple cities, while the series is on a set. She could have them in one location instead of her father moving them around the entire country.

Very valid point. You also have to look at who could have more time to spend with the kids. Actors commonly work 18 hour days, whereas each of Joes concerts are like three hours long with an hour long rehearsal and they’re at night when the kids are most likely in bed. So maybe he just has more time? None of us really know their situation.

Seems Joe just expects Sophie at home taking care of the kids while he lives his best life & isn’t a very active father given that I am a fan. I see how much time he spends on himself & a long time ago questioned how much time does he dedicate to his kids. He isn’t father of the year because he has them now & only now. Sophie has even mentioned in the past that she has to beg Joe to stay home because he is such a social butterfly. Once again before the divorce I questioned him as a parent. He said he didn’t realize how much down time there is on tour. Huh?? Knowing now that the kids are with him. That’s a even more ridiculous statement. In hindsight it’s a sad but good thing he is out of Sophie’s life. Maybe it will also have him step up more as a Dad.
