    Hello Rich
    I just ran across ur CZcams channel. And OMG . I to am a dad that learned this style by helping my son , he led is senior legion team in hitting as a sophomore batting 5th.
    This HS coaches tried to change him all the time , u r the first person I know that can explain this properly and the only other who comes close is josh Donaldson
    We learned this style bt breaking down Jose Bautista he in my opinion does this swing the best, because he knows what he is actually doing and therefore knows where the power comes from
    Thanks
    Keep up the great work , I’m admiring from afar

    reminds me of a golf swing compared to a tennis racquet swing. Best way I can think about this process. 54 years old started playing in early 1970s, Phillies fan Mike Schmidt, Greg Luzinski, Grew up thinking swinging out to meet the ball using arms was the way to bat. Now play some softball. Thank you for this video coach! Good stuff! excellent videos!

    Teacherman articulates how to move like no other. Those moves are hiding in plain sight. Excellent!

    Teacherman has helped Aaron Judge if people can't see that then they need to get their eyes checked.
    He is giving us his time and dedication for free.
    If you really want to learn what he is teaching break down the basics step by step.
    Start with step one#1 get that figured out baby steps first.That way you don't get confused.Everyone was a baby at one time and all had to take babysteps to walk. Some get mad and get tired of falling others figure it out faster than others and some just never figure it out because they give up and quit or don't believe. He's obviously teaching Aaron Judge so you can't say he's not helping Aaron Judge become a great hitter

    The hip tilt works wonderfully and will move the back backwards but the moving of the wrists to snap the bat is unnatural and puts a lot of strain on the elbow. Tilting the hips then rotating them while keeping the hands still until they naturally turn over works great.

    Something I will have to try.

    If you had the side view of the video, you would see that he transfers his weight forward off his back leg. Does not spin on his back foot .

      If you punch a punching bag like you swing a bat that's how you tell what your weight is doing something has to stop your weight from shifting forward to deliver a blow if you get your weight on your front foot that would be like bunting.
      You have to spin on your back foot to deliver your punch for power just like you swing your bat.

    • @danielpamaral2837
      @danielpamaral2837 Před 2 měsíci

      Your back foot is the driver with out the driver your literally bunting

      This is why everyone says weight back even on the offspeed

    • @danielpamaral2837
      @danielpamaral2837 Před 2 měsíci

      Think about it in a uppercut punch what shifts forward your punch and what's driving your punch your back leg driver.

    • @danielpamaral2837
      @danielpamaral2837 Před 2 měsíci

      The more you put your weight on your front foot and throw a uppercut punch what happens.
      We use our front foot so that we can drive the uppercut punch not to put weight on the front foot.

    How can anyone other than the phenomenon Ronald Acuna Jr describe his swing! Plus no one has seen this kind of hand speed only Barry Bonds can describe this !!

    what about the armbar he does? his arm is pretty compressed against his chest. a lot of great hitters do that. how come you never talk about that? I think the bat is flattening because of that compression. not because he is snapping it... your movement doesn't look anything like what the best hitters do. how come?

    I find it very hard to keep both hands on the bat through out the whole swing with your method

      Same

      @danielpamaral2837 Před 2 měsíci

      I thought the same thing at first but then I realized that when your hips open up with the back foot turning you roll over after contact just like every other hitter does just like Acuna does in his swing

      Unless it's a bunt or check swing

    Completely wrong. Talked with the Braves hitting coach and this is not correct. I want to see you swing on a hittrax.

    for younger players they lose the barrel below the ball and swing up. dont fall for this crap, a dad that looks at swings and tells you what they are doing.. what the player feels isn't what he is describing.. fraud
