It's hard to explain why you TRAIN your body to swing down.....even though, depending on the pitch, your swing adjusts. Training to swing down keeps hands inside the ball. That is the main thing you're trying to train yourself to do....keep hand in and straight to ball.
If I could go back in time, I wouldâve stuck with baseball in high school. Itâs one of my biggest regrets
Why do you teach people to dump their barrel
This guy spits truth
the thing is, you'll naturally do this anyway; it's not a big secret
Come on bro, your beltâs not been horizontal for 30 years.
Imagine criticizing the coach that built Judge's swing. The envy is off the charts with this Frye clown
2-3 in playoff game thanks to your vids coach
He twist before contact in the second on but in the first he twist and makes contact at the same time 100% FACTS!
I like all your techniques but this one Iâm bit confused cause looks like youâre dipping the shoulder which would cause for pop ups
Snap and tilt is awesome! No doubt. But people donât realize how underrated keeping your wrist still is. If we moved our bat at the plate like the first video, our coach would have us swinging at the backstop till our wrist âdonât want to move anymoreâ. The good ole days
Thanks coach
Sophomore jinx and he's probably overthinking a few things.
It takes forever to do that looparound swing though. Also, Im gonna say this again: When you demonstrate that move "rotate perpendicular around your forearm" thing, YOUR WRIST IS FACING THE WRONG DIRECTION, your palm is facing towards you instead of facing palm up.
Everytime my son hits off the Tee, Dad coach tells him to stop dipping his shoulder. They can't help themselves.
Their stride
Huge fan of the Teach, I changed up and only instruct my 10u travel softball team your stuff and I have seen results
Thank you for these good tips
Do as I say not as I do? đ€
He lounged forward
Heâs striding significantly farther.
Mike Trout? Does he even play anymore? He's cooked.
Yes my 14yo keeps hitting pop ups
This is a highly effective swing path and what I have been teaching my kids for years. There is a reason that even though my son is not the strongest athlete, he is consistent and it makes him an effective hitter in the line up.
post 1 video demonstrating an actual swing with "the snap" he talks about. Even he himself does knob to ball when he swings
Why are people arguing with this guy at all? The man TEACHES the pros. Nothing more needs to be said, sit down little league dads. Letâs all learn.
Would you agree that Bondsâ barrel doesnât angle as downward as you always show and his hands never arc and finish as high.? While he does seem to do what you coach, itâs not nearly as steep and much more across and out at the finish. At least thatâs what I see. His 660 HR would have been a whiff if he had the angle you displayâŠ. No? Thank you coach.
Thanks for screwing up my swing all little league coaches ever.
21 Million views?
At foot strike, his hands are really low. He also has a really narrow stance.
He got a bad hitting coachđą
I havenât played baseball in sometime but physics tells me that this advice is horse đ©. If it worked they would have been swinging like this in games but they didnât lol
In my 40s. Been following for 2 yrs. I've been absolutely crushing the ball. With little effort compared to my old swing. Thank you thank you thank you. The LVBL in PA is gunna know very soon
Why do you do it?
Bat doesnât move as much in the 2nd clip
It's MAY and you're throwing around his 2024 stats like they're for an entire season...??
Frye isnât even a mechanics guy. Why is he even talking like thatâs his specialty. Total đ€Ą clown ass.
I'm curious what are his MLB career hitting stats when he played? Is he in the MLB Hall of Fame? He acts as if he should be.
Does little richy have anyone but the largest and strongest hitter ever to prove his methods? What about all the guys heâs worked with who havenât shown signs of improvement. What about Ian happ. What about Scott Kingery. He only has the big strong guy.
My 11yo ripped a nuke over the scorboard in championship game 2 weeks ago. This syle isnt for everone. But if you can do it it works.
Wow when did you start teaching him teachermans method?
@@nofurtherwest3474 about 2 years ago I started showing him videos, implemented this technique to my then 10yo snd 12 yo daughter. They were both struggling to hit hard, could make contact, but was all arm. The game changer was the 1 leg load, going back while lifted leg goes fwd. Yesterday he hit a bomb, but got caught out, far enough back to get an rbi though....
Ive been following you for sometime now and trying to implement your technique. Keeping my weight on my back foot has helped a lot. I am making better contact with everything except for higher pitches. Do you have any advice? Should I be dropping the barrel last dramatically according to the height of the pitch or could it be something else?
I'm pretty sure the Yankees have him as their hitting coach 100%
These guys arenât shifting smart mouth you just havenât hit the tee enough so you canât even see what theyâre doing.
My 10 year old son's coach tells him he is wrong to lift his front foot. It is incredibly frustrating as it is my sons 3rd year of baseball and this coach is completely new to baseball this year and telling my son his dad is wrong (when the dad has taught him off your videos). Any suggestions?
My 10 year old son's baseball coach this year (sons 3rd year of baseball and this coach is brand new to baseball and coaching) is telling him he is wrong to lift his front foot when swinging. He keeps telling him that his dad has taught him wrong and doesn't know what he is doing. Is the coach right and you should never lift/move your front foot when loading?

What BBCOR bat do you recommend.
In 2004 shot he is doing the gymnasts split

Aaron Judge MVP!
Because of you I was able to hit my first home run today, thanks teacherman!!
Congrats!
