    I wish I had you to learn from when I was I kid. I hit the ball before my front leg hit the ground naturally, but my hand action was the classic push swing. The wrist snap back and tilt swing you teach is pure effortless power... it feels so naturally for me to do. The only problem is I'm a man past his prime.

    This guy has so much knowledge, he reminds of this pitching coach I had in hawaii who taught me nothing but fundamentals, then he tought how to place my fastball and apply different pressur on my 2 seam to make it move differently... he then taught me how to throw a beautiful ass cutter that you'd be surprised how easy it is to throw... it wasn't until 2 years with this coach he finally taught me how to throw a curve ball and it is deadly.... learning like this showed me how to be areal a pitcher and I'm no pro but I play in leagues and it's amazing to have all this and have ot show up on the field... shout out to all my professional town league ballers 🤙

    the 2 greatest hitters ive seen since the late 1980s to 2014 were Barry Bonds and Gary Sheffield... both hit for average with power with walks and low strikeouts... they have similar swings except Sheffield obviously has more pre-swing action with his hands... fax!!!

    We don’t want to load our scap? You’ve been saying that we should be feeling our scap go into our spine… That’s loading our scap in my eyes… Please explain.

    • @thermal1966
      @thermal1966 Před 4 měsíci +3

      He means feeling like your pulling your shoulder blades together, although they are barely moving as your scap muscle tightens to take in any slack, .aka..loading the scap. but your hands stay at the same position at your shoulder, and you feel this loading in your leg and inner foot mostly. As you do this correctly, you feel the pressure on your leg, which is resisting this load, more and more....

    Hopefully Judge introduced Volpe to Teacherman! Not sure if Yankees Organisation s able to fix it. Shouldn t Volpe be capable to contribute at least .240 per season Yankees are in trouble, once again. Weren t shocked if Yankees need whole 2020ies to figure out filling Shortstop Position and giving away Judge s and Cole s prime years. Of course, Urias for example an unique talent. But If Yankees are able to develope him and get a championchipcaliber roster on the field, not even considering pitching, I am not sure!!!!!!!!

    Sorry sir, but Judge loads, strides, puts his head down toward where he wants to hit the pitch, and swings just like Charley Lau said in the 1970s.

      But Judge does what all modern hitters do. He doesn't snap his hands. The swing is sub-nonconscious directed mainly by the position of the head. @@MEGATBLAZER

    I loved Judgie's explanation regarding his hitting lane...I understand what you're trying to say, but I wouldn't teach this to a young hitter...you never once mention that the hips pull the hands through...you're leading the viewer to believe the hands pull the hips through which is catastrophic to a sound swing...now you're going to get hitters arm-barring...retool this, but concentrate more on Judge's comments than this "snap" technique that you're not fully explaining...dangerous for a young hitter to hear...a sound swing starts with the lower half-period.
