I have never expected for this map to be played so quickly after I've recommended it lol.
I have to say I'm (we are) aware of some bugs with this map. Due to the time constraints of the competition things weren't exactly perfect as you can see. Besides obvious ways to cheese it, there's also engine limitations (the one part where you couldn't jump off the floor is one of them, source makes you stick to the ground). It was supposed to be updated but I guess I just never had the courage to, since this kind of stuff is better suited for mods like P2CE, where you could actually pull this off properly.

I really think, that you have to rebeat original portal 2, bcuz it's actually uncanny to see such a experienced portal solver being completely unable to recall how original portal looks like :)
1:22 - No diversion yet, this is a classic pump puzzle :)

5:52 - There we go, diversion time baby!!
7:09 - It is, just rarely seen like that because the way Source handles shiny things only really looks good on static objects. Reflections don't move with you (hence the sudden reflection change)
8:08 - One day I'll convince you to play Outer Wilds for your channel, and you'll do it completely blind and with no knowledge of the game and no peeking at commentaries!
11:53 - I mean, to be fair, for fairness sake, you don't make a floating-based map where the exit is just a float away lol
14:29 - ngeruma, you might want to visit an optometrist, there is a very visible railing in front of you 😂😂
18:22 - This, lads and lasses, is why we playtest custom mechanics to make sure they're actually good and fun and not broken :P

I wonder how the coffee pot has such nice and fast reflections. Possibly just a lot of cube maps? Might just be because reflection didn't work on the other map
oh man, seeing the OG Portal 2 area kinda makes me want to go play the campaign again.
Certainly an interesting idea they added here. Too bad it was so wonky, but as noted in another comment, there's only so much you can do with the constraints they were working with.

Maybe make the exit repulsive and the entry attractive? Or make portals attractive? Or instead of zero gravity, apply a diverting force.

fun fact: assuming the mapper here didn't fix it, you actually can fire a portal onto that panel behind the glass. Speedruns use it to get there faster. if you shoot a portal right at the edge of the wall beside the glass, the portal magnet will bring your portal through the glass

you should definitely replay the campaign and maybe the multiplayer campaign too if you haven't done that yet
also that "anomaly in" sign could be fixed by turning sv cheats on and off again
