It was very sad to see how Stevie commented on Zidane's work ethic.
I guess because of his work ethic, he is Zidane and you are working on ESPN talk show.
Yeah, the below-average manager mocking the guy who won 3 Champions Leagues and 2 league titles in his first 4 seasons in charge. Some people need to learn their place, and Stevie’s bitterness is beyond sad.
Exactly
Trust this is a C-Rate show I just watch the Scots just to laugh😂Jules, Shak & Frank actually have insight & balance
The below average manger who did nothing in MLS, the toughest league in the world , joke of a human
@@zecanard the difference in football careers between Stevie and Zidane is considerably smaller than the difference between yours and Stevie's, so by your own logic you have no place to criticise anything Stevie says.
It’s absolutely pathetic how the two Scotts are so unbelievably bitter listening to the Zidane story, and how they’re trying to build up this persona that they have a lot if more interesting things to talk about during dinner and they can’t be asked. And slating the methods of Zidane, the same guy that won three champions league trophies in a row😂😂😂 Some people love this game and are passionate about it so they speak about it for fun not for a quick pay-day to give awful opinions 😴
Its a shame. They are disrespectful to zidane and frank for sharing an interesting exclusive insight into Zidane 's success.
The same pundits will later say Zidane only won the champions league because he had good players.. silly pundits.
lol you summed it up perfectly, craig and stevie are terrible pundits, clueless as well. same to ale and shaka, those 4 that usually appear in the studio are the worst
Funny how you armchair pundits think that you have any perspective or valid opinions
That was really disrespectful to Frank, you could see he was not impressed
@@soyentak5076 Not to mention Craig and Steve are both former pros too. Craig has said in the past many, many times, that he can't be bothered with most football. He'd never pay to attend a match and beyond work he doesn't have any interest in talking about it. Clearly, some people have short memories or are new viewers with ignorant opinions.
🤚🏽Can ESPN please arrange for Franck to tell us more about the discussion he had with Zidane please? I'd be extremely interested to know more about his work ethic and what he had to do to coach that Madrid team. Steve Nicol and Craig Burley might be some ignorant sods, but I was really interested in knowing what Franck had to say. If they don't want to hear about what it's like to coach the biggest club in the world, they should leave the panel.

This segment is called Extra Time, it's meant to be a laugh. Lighten up.
I guess Stevie's jab on Zidane's working hours kinda explains why Zidane is a 3-time CL winner and Stevie won absolutely nothing as a manager... in MLS.
They still butthurt that Zidane’s Madrid beat Liverpool in the ucl final
Stevie is an old man with a child’s brain. Embarrassing
Other than abuse, can you explain what takes an additional 11 hours a day, every day after training is finished?
I get that transfer meetings and PR...but that isn't 11 hours a day

How did you misinterpret that?
Instead of fumbling, maybe show us why you think you have the right to criticise.
Enlighten us. What takes 11 hours a day after training?
I really wanted to hear more from frank abt what zidane said.Thats gold material.
Unfortunately, it's like being in a classroom and trying to hear what someone's saying, but having these 2 idiot kids with no interest in learning disrupting the whole class.
I dont think he would say more than what he had said. Whatever he, Zidane and the rest of them talked about should not have been shared in public.
@@pjanicattheisco6991 Frank did say he was not gonna reveal everything since they have a friendship deal. But he definitely would've given more insight than he was able to because of the two idiots.
Yeah I would love to hear more, but you know, it's Steve time to make jokes about how Zidane has over worked. 🤦🏻♂️
ESPN FC dropped the bag here. Coulda really got some breaking news outta this if the moderator did a better job at moderating.
Stevie and Craig should transfer from ESPN FC to ESPN golf.
Some people need to seriously just learn their place in life. It is Zidane. Zidane ffs. Show some respect.
Difference between the France and Scotland dinner is france talk about winning at the table and Scotland talk about how happy they are Craig never showed up
France and African team all in one, that ain't France alone that won, j/s
Comparing Scotland World Cup Reunion to the France world Cup Reunion is hilarious 🤣
Yeah I know. Enjoy a great night out with Scotland or have a boring 😴 night with France
Thing is standards are different they have a right to celebrate it , scotland don't get to many tournaments , while for france it's a given to make em
Stevie’s ego got hurt, knowing Zidane work ethic.
Steve Nicol: What was he doing from 7 to 11?
You don't know the answer because you did not win 3 UCLs.
Craig is such a jealous person. He was jealous of Jules attending Neymar's party, he's jealous of Frank attending dinner with Zidane & co. All Craig does is play mini - golf 🤣
"You don't know what I'm going to do with my life." I love that
Nicole is like that uncle who's never happy with you even if you do everything right and achieve everything.
I don’t understand how average and less than average players at their times talk and criticize legends like Zidane
Stevie Nicol was not average, he was a dam good player, and everyone has a right to their own opinion.

Best part is Frank's comment at 6:22. @espn Steve was too disrespectful of Zidane and Frank
Can't agree more. How disrespectful were these two clowns.
ESPN always have an anti-Madrid agenda except for a few. But the "few" - can you get Frank to talk more about the thought process, tactics, discipline, skill, hard work of Zinedine freakin' Zidane please 🙏🏽 We need to know more about his elite mind.
So Ajax made history by winning al their games, scoring 20 goals while only conceding 5, Haller made history scoring in every group game and scoring 10 goals in the group stage and you guys at ESPN still don't talk about them??
As a dutch fan of this show I really wanted to hear your opinions on Ajax and dutch football as a whole since the dutch have been climbing up and are now the 7th best League in the world and they are really close to pass Portugal as the 6th best League after the 2017-2018 season falls away next season
Good point
Even with RM, they spend 3min talking about them or 5 min.
While they spend 15min talking rubbish topics about English teams. I am sick of the arrogant English media & fans, I definitely know that Ajax would beat some of them.
When Ajax win their next ucl match they will love them dont worry.
im pretty sure they do talk about them in the actual show, but they only upload the segments with "relevant" topics to youtube so they get more views... a few other talk shows i follow do that and im assuming espn fc would be the same. I do agree with you though, the constant premier league coverage gets annoying
I'll tell Steve why Zidan was there until 11pm. He was there to win 3 Champions leagues back 2 back. Of course you say you don't understand why or what he was doing but bro, let me ask you this, how many CL do you've?. So maybe, win 3 back to back and then come and tell me what you did between lunch time and 11pm. If you say I went back home and took a nap I'll salute you and raise my hat every time your name is mentioned.
The Scott's ruined it. Really wanted to hear about Frank's evening with Zidane. Who is literally a Football God.
Such disrespect to Zidane from Steve. Zidane has done extra work and that paid off with 3 Champions League in a row (Super Super Crazy achievement). Now Zidane has the right to say anything about his work, and we have just to shut up and listen!
Can ESPN please do us football fans a favor and kick Steve Nicol and Craig Burley out? They only bring ignorant bigotry on the show and it's not funny.
Steve, lets from the physical shape even at 40,to being one of the greatest footballer of his generation and now the greatest coach in Madrid history. It takes alot of hard work my Scottish brothers
That’s probably why he won 3 UCL in a row for one of the biggest clubs in the world Stevie. U coached an mls team, did you win anything while u were there btw Stevie???
It’s always the English speaking Europeans who are the most arrogant even tho most Europeans are arrogant including the French. Zidane is a iconic legend as both a player and manager something not many can say. Zidane still doesn’t get his respect as a manager after winning 3 champions leagues in a row. I really do think Zidane should take the Man U job if it’s available next year. He will do wonders with that team and maybe more if they give him a good transfer budget.
That was hard to watch, can Craig and Steve for once sit politely and listen to other ppl? Do they not realise that the fans would be much more interested in hearing Frank’s story with Zidane then these whiners.
I disagree with Stevie on a lot of things but he is absolutely spot on on the Origi case, you can't settle for the bench at 26, he deserves to be playing first team football
Funny stevie saying Origi has a lack of ambition then turn around and mocking Zidane for putting more hours of focus in to his team. Just to highlight why he never accomplish anything as a manager
Stevie was a world class players playing in great teams with great managers, and he’s also managed himself. He’s well equipped to say what he feels is unreasonable and over the top for a manager to do.
I dont mind different opinions no matter how silly or bias. What I do mind is hypocrisy or contradiction. They say Zidane won 3 UCL beacause of great team only. They also said Ronaldo did well because of great team. But when these two left and RM had the worst season in 100 yrs of their history, they said the team is too old.
The same team that they credited for Zidane's & Ronaldo's success suddenly became too old. Moreover Bale (whose performance they always blamed on problems with zidane) performed even worse.
Then Zidane came back and won Laliga with even worse team and nearly won it in second year untill the very last day by one goal.
He is literally pound for pound the best manager of all time and yet they present him like some sort of French Ole (player manager) who literally didn't win anything at all.
I mean I am just amazed at the levels of contradictions they can achieve without even trying.🤪
He is one of the best, not the best

its actually really simple: morning is gym time, afternoon is practice time then you start personal analysis with players and what they should do next game. And at night you start watching rival games video to analysis and choose tactics for next game. Done
Is Stevie really finding it a problem with Zidane working 7am - 8pm??? He’s so ridiculous.
Imo, Stevie and Craig were both being rather belligerent here. Both also spoke way too much(a habit of Craigs) when in fact, Frank was the one that had the most interesting thing to say yet they spoke over him.
Congratulations to the 98 WC winners. ZZ has no feelings for 60% rain, ENGLISH media and guys in the ManU staff and fans like those 2 pundits in the table.

Craig messi has 160 goals and assists in 154 champions league games u have 154 games played in 15 years so kindly shut it and stop crying for penaldowski 🤣🤣🤣
.
What do you do for 11 hours? They can always analyse opposition play videos and develop tactics with your team. Old generation players and managers don't understand that. Game is more sophisticated in terms of planning now
Origi and Wijnaldum gave Klopp a Champions League trophy when they won the Semi against Barcelona.
Origi went off on loan for a while and left Liverpool in search of first team football. It didn't go great for him, he came back, and then won the Champions League with Liverpool. The suspicion is that he decided he preferred his life in and around the Liverpool players and staff than his experiences outside of Liverpool. The fact that he has contributed so undeniably to Liverpool's successes and is truly loved by the fanbase probably helps. I don't think there is anything wrong with putting happiness for both you and your family ahead of your career. The world would probably be a better place if more people thought that way.
Remember also that Klopp preaches that every person from janitor to Mo Salah is part of the same project, working together in order to succeed, regardless of who gets the plaudits. I believe I am right in saying that one of the very first things Klopp did as manager was get everyone together who worked at the club, and reeled off the names of all the people who never get the plaudits (masseurs, chefs, etc. etc.) that he knew already and insisted to the first team that they were just as important as anyone else to Liverpool if Liverpool were going to be successful under him. The culture he wants to instil in a club is one where far more people are seen as deserving the plaudits than those people who are just the most visible. I imagine if you buy in to such an approach, and are naturally someone who puts the team doing well above yourself, then your view on Origi's career is likely very different to someone who doesn't buy into it.
If you are being paid well, are going to work with people you love simply as people, feel that you are contributing to something greater than yourself, already have a place in history which you are adored for... why would you want to throw that all away on a gamble that had failed catastrophically before?
What's unusual about this is that Origi is a striker, and strikers are usually considered selfish. Origi, however, has a genuine academic interest in psychology, so it seems reasonable to assume his thoughts on the matter would be more nuanced than many a forward. I better were Origi a bit part player this wouldn't be raised. When they were at their best, Man Utd had a bundle of bit part players who came on and did what they needed to do but were never going to start a game.
Dan put on a masterclass in instigating today.

Frank is right imo. Granted, Origi could be playing regularly as a starter at another club, yet that would be at a club like Villa or Everton. At least at Liverpool he is able to be involved in a side that is competing for titles, while playing some part in the champions league.

I'm working with one of the worlds best coaches, I'm in a world class squad and I've made some seriously important contributions to the club's recent history. Sure, I could probably go get some first team football, but where would I go that's winning, where I'm loved by the fans and where my coach knows my importance to the overall squad?
Liverpool should do their best to keep him happy honestly, It's important to have an impact player like him.
