Today, Maggie Brown, Jack Campion, and Lynn Klein will be risking everything they've won every time they play Second Chance! And now, here's the man that gives everyone a Second Chance, JIM PECK!!

If memory serves me correct, the very last episode of this show aired just after the big New York Blackout which started around 9:15 pm Wednesday. I got my power back around 4:00 pm the next day (Thursday Afternoon).
Today, (Player 1) (Player 2) and (Player 3) will risk everything they've won every time they play Second Chance! And now the star of Second Chance Jim Peck!
Second Chance also used a second musical piece whenever they went to commercial (as the contestants spun around) and after the final spin & the winner was declared.
A. Reel / Lief / Uncle/ Hofmeyer / Uncle, Sam. - Yes, I remember it well. That was one of the finest bits of comedy I've ever seen. I wonder if a video exists.

This theme was also used for Bill Cullen's summer '76 run of "Secret" ? Wild. BTW - Does anyone recall Charles Nelson Reilly on the '76 "Secret" staging "Yankee Doodle Dandy" using real people's names? "Eimer Yanky Tootle Dundee, Yanky Tootle Dewar Dye..."
since pyl was recent. we need a feud and second chance abc fun and games revival. because we miss this masterpeace of art. including the big board. it would need the same treatment as the PYL 2019 board

Sounds like a news telecast at first
Oh yeah! Awesome 'clearer' and longer version of this theme! Love the wah-wah and the groovy bass lines.

What I like about this song is that it is Silly (flutes), Epic (brass) & Badass (Funky guitar) at the same time. :D
The flutes don't make this one _silly_ -- just more whimsical.
Really love the awesome and classic Score Productions solo jam section in this theme.
Second Chance would be revived as Press Your Luck.
And later in 2002 revived as "Whammy! The All-New Press Your Luck" and just "Whammy!" in 2003.

The Family Feud-sounding electric guitar solo is nice.
HOPEFULLY THEY PUT SECOND CHANCE GAME SHOW ON GSN AND BUZZR GAME SHOW AND POSSIBLY BRING IT BACK.❤

Second Chance also used a second musical piece whenever they went to commercial (as the contestants spun around) and after the final spin & the winner was declared.
And a third theme, used for fee plugs; this one was built around the organ solo of the second theme.
Do these themes still exist? If so, do you know where they can be found?
That's my jam

Hey, Trivia, search for the Family Feud Australia theme from 1980's and its sounds similar!
From 1975 believe it or not! IGAS "76" was actually "75"
Summer 1976.
@@michaelpolfax2779 the theme and first few shows (aside the pilots) were recorded in Fall of '75, but didn't air til '76.
They used this on IGAS? Wow, seems weird for that kind of show.
IGAS came before SC believe it or not.
They also rearranged the soundtrack a little to better fit the atmosphere for IGAS. Though they kept the original during the credit roll.
