B20V Coupe stock b20V FBO Tuned by Javi Made 207whp on E85 H23A prelude FBO Ported manifold Tuned on 93 Made 237whp Good friendly runs with one of the homies💪🏽
I used to have a 5th gen prelude with Cams I/H/E and a 100shot of NOS, it was a beast on the highway downshift. Both cars sound great and it was a great race!
Damn nice run I have a h23a in a 2000 civic sedan untuned can't wait to see how much it makes with fbo, skunk2 manifold, custom 4-1 header couple other parts i dont think make a difference but cant wait to see what it makes on a dyno
@TheBb6prelude thanks I really hope so I give a few v8 mustang and camaros a run for ther money until the top end of 3rd that when they usually start to gap me 🤣 I do have supertech springs and retainers but stock valves and cams for now
I mean the heavier car one the race in the end b20vtec isn't gonna beat an h series with the common stock block stock head b20v build compression ratio is really low so its a 2l vtec motor but only at like a 9:8:1 cr if you have the b20z high comp bottom and all the other dohc vtec motors like the b16 b18 h22 etc. Are all like 10:5:1 and higher compression ratios
@@thegreasymonkey9160ya that's what I mean man! The less powered b20v was able to hold its own against the h23. I'm sure the weight played a role. I was impressed at least 🤷♂️ lol
I like cars without any nonsense visual tuning. Only performance modifications. Kudos for you.
Wtf is visual tuning ??😂
@@kcrichton7485 shity spoilers some ebay spliters etc.
Nice runs h23a did good in the heavy prelude.
Lol the clutch kicks make me laugh. It’s Not gonna give you the extra 20 horsepower man.
its just flat foot shifting
@@chopsticks7751nooo that’s a clutch kick. It helps you get into vtec when you’re pulling in a higher gear.
@@MrSagerific95 no it’s not nor does it help stay in VTEC he’s flat foot shifting so he’s not taking his foot off the gas
It’s clear you just don’t know and that’s ok. He’s absolutely clutch kicking in 3rd gear, I’ve owned several b series. Please watch again.
@@MrSagerific95 I don’t care how many B series you own I’m not hearing the clutch kicks
sick ass coupe and prelude, super rare

I had an h23a with just PLM header and ported/gutted stock intake and it was a blast
Dang that was a beast run!
Daaaaaym! Epic races
I remember the sound of my K20 with intake but now I have a daily TL type S J series that I like to drive fast and the STI I drive it slow.
I miss my prelude, that thing was a blast!
Good & close races man!

Nice good luck!
You're going to gain so much speed with a tune. Untuned is super super slow compared to tune

@@ek94banger48yeah,you have no idea how much faster you're going to be. Night and day difference.
@@ek94banger48leave the valves stock. Add a pro1 down the road , it'll wake that engine up a lot
fair play to both you guys havin it out! 👍👍
Prelude definitely had some good mods to stay ahead of the B20/vtec
Good job🤝💪💯🔥
H23 has better top end, good race👏
The civic would do better from a dig
Wow! Weight must have played a huge role here!

Got a k20/k24 in a hatch back came out of an Fa5.
Very good battle
Smh lol. Some driving lessons and an H2B swap for Christmas.
Why even go E85 on a stock bottom end B20V?
civic lost bc of the clutch kicking smh
Run that b20 on e85 n youll get him

Stop clutch kicking, probably would of done better if you just let it go lol
Love is in the air 😏
There is no way in any circumstance that the prelude should be gapping a b20vtec civic that badly.
Both cars slow asf. My stock j would take y’all to gap city
