Your Integra does not sound good. The Stock S2000 sounds much better. Yes I know it's not the same engine.
The S2000 bloke appears to be is shifting too early. I think he's scared of breaking his expensive F series.
Also your Integra has lowest power but what about weight? Is it the lightest car too?.. I bet it is.

People get so carried away in high horsepower stuff these days, but this race proves that you don’t need all the power to have fun. All smiling, all into it, so great to see. All manual, NA, just pure driving. Nice work
To say this is probably the lowest powered line up on the channel, what an absolute blast it was to watch. Funny as and so much more involved than the usual 1000bhp, press launch and watch paint dry cars. Loved it OG
Manuals, no turbos, front and rear wheel drive, no TC. Result? Best race ever- skill and a cool head win.

S2000 needed driver mod, Georga would have gone in second place if she didn’t miss a gear in the last drag run. Jamie’s reaction times are so on point. The integra was the star of the drags.

@@donaldmokgale3123 Her launches seemed pretty good actually. She was just slow with the reaction time but honestly hand waved starts are the worst. It becomes more about judging/anticipating body language than actual reaction.
I was thinking this as well, she looks like she's driving her kids home from school and some rowdy teens passed her up, and she decided to go for it. With better driving she would have won too! I stated as much in another post

Yeah well the EK looks like it has a factory intake manifold not even a RBC meanwhile EP3 has the best of everything. EK and EG k swaps is where it's at.

This was an epic video. I actually prefer seeing races between more normal/attainable cars like this rather than a handful of 1000hp + builds.
Its more reflective of the good ole days and what we all started out with that got us into the scene in the first place, maybe its nostalgia, maybe its the simplicity.

It's kinda true, i had my share of fast cars but and still have but driving my S2000 is still the most fun i have. This stuff needs some modification to make then really fun but it's a nice learning curve to explore real old-school tuning (Suspension, alignment, chassis stiffness, NA engine tuning etc)
Think of it this way…..high hp cars take serious concentration but low power it’s a little the driver, all the car, having fun and pushing that damn thing to the limit. Weird to say but I still have more fun driving my ragged 05 base Cobalt than my 18 wrx with mods 😂. Now this is on the street mind you and I don’t have to worry about crashing a cobalt 🤣🤣🤣
19yrs ago I sold my MKIII Supra w/ stage 1 turbo upgrade to build a '01spec Integra Type-R engine(B18C5) for my '92 GSR(US model). The kid that bought my Supra ran a 12.06 quarter on street tires with the turbo I put on. My 200hp Integra was only good for 14sec quarters but it was far more fun to drive. When I took the kid that bought my Supra for a ride in my Integra he screamed like a girl that it felt just like turbo, and he owned a much faster car.

Loved this segment, EP3 had the juice to take all wins just needed a driver mod🤭 S2K should have outlaunched everyone from the dig - owner needs more seat time. The integra definitely gave everyone a run for their money💸

Thank the CZcams algorithm for throwing this beauty into my feed! As an owner and operator of a street and track driven ‘90s Honda, I greatly appreciate this video. I have a 1993 Honda Civic del Sol Si (CRX del Sol on your side of the pond). While it looks stock other than being lowered, it’s had a full suspension and brake upgrade for track duty. Under the hood - or bonnet 🇬🇧 - is a 1.8L DOHC VTEC OBD1 JDM GSR B18C with a few goodies making 198/138 to the front rubber. It’s mated to an Integra Type-R LSD 5-speed with the 4.4 final drive. I absolutely love this car. It’s a joy to drive on the street when out to pick up a pizza, and a weapon on the track when passing “faster” cars during open-lapping adventures (my time attack and auto cross days are far behind me). I record and post all my track videos here on CZcams to go back and enjoy each lap. Thank you for this gem! Respect from across the pond 🇨🇦.

Would have to be the b-series dc2, . For it to have the least amount of power yet with its weight perform so well, its a no contest. So many memories of sitting in the passenger seat my of uncle's dc2 and hearing the VTEC kick in as a child whilst driving around Greater London. Such a shame he's had so many issues with finding someone to get it back on the road for him. Incredible video!

@@HondaEnjoyer12 i'm an s2000 fan boy...best car i have ever owned...but sadly the 240 brake thing is simply not true. mine rolling roaded at 213. apparently they almost always come in at 200 to 220 from what i hear.
@@rosshallam5240 is that rolling road figure wheel or crank horsepower though? Cause many dynos measure wheel output which is of course less than what manufacturers use (crank hp)

The ap1 has long gears, and is also heavier than the bunch. Also you have to launch it over 6 k rpm to even have a chance at the dig. You want the wheel to spin so the s2k can hit vtec quicker.

The problem of B series is the 5 speed, the diff you can see between 3th and 4th..
Anyway the S2000 needs a shorter final gear, it change very much!!

Was just gonna say that makes a huge difference! And when both b series and k series are similar hp levels gearing is the biggest factor. Had a few dc2s and remembered how frustrating it was! Ideal combo is 96 spec gear ratios with a shorter fd. 98 spec gearing was better 1-3 but then bigger gap to 4th and 5th made it feel worse up top. I've only driven 1 s2000 and my first thought was its too long geared holding it back a lot

Final drive, some breathing mods, a tune and the s2k beats them all really.

You don't need big power to have fun just equal power! That was one of the more exciting videos I've watched in a while. Georgia was plagued by bad starts that ep3 has more in it. All the same as chill as she was behind the wheel, I seen a cheeky little grin emerge as she pulled ahead in the second drag race... Brilliant.

I’ve owned S2000s and DC2 ITRs and launching an s2000 isn’t easy, so wasn’t surprised at the results. Amazing battle though, can’t beat screaming Honda engines 🥰

In my personal experience, s2ks launch better if you spin the tires a little before getting traction because vtec will be engaged quicker. It takes longer to reach if you launch for full traction.

100% one of my favourite battles so far! Your DC2 done well but I'm not surprised by Jesse's coupe taking the overall win. Georgia's EP3 is some bit of kit and I reckon with more practice on the launches it could have been a different story, was surprised at the s2000 as I thought the rwd might help but the high crossover on a standard car definitely killed it here.
I think for me personally I'd go K series but I also wouldn't mind having a go in a H series car

Really nice, as an owner of an ep3 this was exciting ! To me it looked like who ever had the best second gear pull was the most consistent. As a daily driver I like the ep for it's useful hatchback, and sporty drive characteristics.
Quality. Thought the k20 swap ej6 would've been quicker, I had the ej6 with h22a7 and did 1/4 mile in 14.2
I've got a jdm dc2 with H22a7 swap done 13.8sec @pod 104mph trap with road tyres full car

Dc2 teg for me everytime 👌, smallest engine but still strong as against the 2ltr,
You could tell that Georgia just needed a bit more practice and she would have taken everything.
1st roll she started a gear too
high and got a late start from behind
2nd roll she down shifted right before starting and didnt get the rev match right and once again got a late start.
1st dig she wasnt up on the rpms and started late.
2nd dig she did the same thing but launched with them, enough for the cars speed to show through at the end.
3rd dig she did the same thing but started late again.
4th dig didnt show onboard but you could tell she wasnt up on RPMs and it sounded like she might have missed a gear.
Anyway, I guess my points are: that EP3 is fast just needed a bit of a driver mod and experience makes a huge difference with analog cars.
You can just see how much more experience Jamie has launching from both digs and rolls than everyone else here. He got out on everyone every single time, managed RPMs and you could hear/see him modulating the throttle throughout the first couple gears to balance between max acceleration and loss of traction.

I've had a few dc2's as well I always felt with there LSD and gearing as from factory was always the fastest to 60. you should try and drive a H22 powerd ATR at some point you've completed the set then 👌

He made the s2000 slower than a stock s2000 with those mods. Nothing beats the factory airbox

I wish Jamie was driving the S2000. It would have done much better in the drag races with a driver mod. A properly driven S2k will slingshot off the line.

First time launching it, almost the first drive after 3 months, more used to launching my mapped EP3 and definitely didn’t want to break my car!
Driver mod definitely would have helped but I don’t think it would have changed the result
@@OllyRossYup I agree, it wouldn't have made a difference to the end result. The starting speed of the rolling race was against you as well. I've owned my S2000 for almost 8 years now, I've never launched it out of fear of breaking the diff so I don't blame you for not launching it hard 😅

Jamie I have a dc 1 and whenever I launch it I got a lot of wheel spin so what I do is slip the clutch half way to get a roll and it’s better that way
