  • Whilst Dreadnoughts are most commonly associated with the loyalist contingent of the Adeptus Astartes, there are many variants in the factions across the galaxy. From Terra to the Eye of Terror and everywhere in between, different groups and races have designed their own versions of Dreadnoughts for use in their wars.

    Inb4 Ferris Manus returns as a Dread-March.
Using his glorious necrodermis hands to catch light and crush it.
(Necrons have Chronomancy/Gravity-manipulation. Id think with such understanding it would be possible to do such feats.)

First dreadnought we know to be used will be eldar wraithlord and wraithguard. They do not contain VOUNDED warior, but soulstone is pretty close. Next one would be a killa can (if the warior is expected to be wounded, instead of drunk and afterwards bolted in the device. There were a group of "Black judges" in the early days of the Great crusade, who were living in the supertech armours and were using simple humans to prolong their lives. Those could be considered "dreadnought" too.

Do you suppose that any Helbrutes have intentionally just overloaded their power-pack just to end it all?

I’m honestly curious about how many Orks straight-up *refuse* to be interred in a Dredd. Along with the trade-offs you mentioned, I’d think that an Ork who gets shoved into a Deff Dredd can’t get any bigger. I would think that this would be a serious deal-breaker for any Ork with ambitions to become a Warboss. KANT BE DA BIGGEST, SO YOOZE KANT BE DA BOSS!

Gw should create a front mission style but instead of mechs and turn based it should be like gears of war style and the sarcophagus can be transferred from different patterns
