Hope you're doing great during this pandemic Mr. Jeorge
:)
Awesome ! a new video from one of the best! So glad I found your channel 😃 Great job on this one.
This was great
why does it seem like this took place in the 60’s when it took place in 04.
Because there were a ton of serial killers in the 60s, 70s and 80s for some reason
@@matteb859 Lead poisoning is a common theory for why. An entire generation was basically raised with lead everything and consumption of lead has been linked to dramatically lowered empathy levels.
If you've ever wondered why Boomers are such selfish dickwads, it's likely because the air was being pumped full of lead when they were growing up.
I think its because in this era serial killers are mostly rare in place of mass shootings which are far more common place.
Probably because a lot of the video is just that black and white police sketch of “Robert Cooper” and they tend to give a dated feel
psychopathic misdirection
man it always upsets me the most when the victim was killed while they were helping their murderer, during an act of kindness, stuff like that. i can never understand how anyone could abuse the trust of someone who's just selflessly helping you
Ring a gun
“Mercy is disgusting”
- Adam Smasher
Well it's easiest to hurt someone when they are defenseless
Psychopaths I guess they don't feel remorse
Thats why you should never help a stranger.
Do you ever think murderers watch these videos and be like, "Yoo, thats me. That's crazy!"
Nah only the ones who haven't been caught for many years maybe but those are usually boomers so it's unlikely. Majority of murders are in jail, so they'll never be able to see their fame. But it is something I think about.
@@VissorilioYou don't seem to fathom how many murders are unsolved and even more unreported by the press
@@Vissorilio lmao the sentiment that “most murderers are boomers” made me laugh
@@nathangerrard9792 yeah pretty much. For every one murder that blows up in the press theres probably like 10 others murders that noone ever hears about.
@@Vissorilio Every year, 2,000 people in the USA alone disappear and are never found again. It’s likely many of them are victims of murders that are never even reported, let alone solved.
I knew a Robert Cooper in high school. Luckily, he should have a good alibi for when the crime occurred because he was in Michigan and 8.
Thanks for the laugh. Made my day. Needed that.
It's always the ones you least suspect
Was he good at making costumes? How did he feel about 7-11s? Did he ever wash the dishes?
im in michigan too
18:53 the two victims look the same
There’s no way this Robert Cooper guy hadn’t done this before Al Kite, and probably did after. That’s terrifying. This guy knows what he’s doing.
Of course, if there willing, and able to do something like this, they would have probably done it before...
@karensimp _ lol, sure mate, that’s why ur called “Karensimp”
Robert Cooper is secretly Agent 47 the entire time. Robert Cooper is just an alias name.
There’s A LOT of people trained in this type of thing. It’s terrible. Trained hit man maybe agent 47? Lol or psycho, still dangerous.
I bet that alot of the unsolved murders around the area are probably his doing as well.
The worst part of unsolved murders is that the murderer goes on with their life. They act like it didn't happen.
For real like you could have ran into them one day and not even know it.
your pfp makes this comment
I dont know about you guys, but I think Israel Keyes was the Murderer. 11 skulls, 11 souls. Since he killed himself, there’s no way the police could interrogate him about the other murders, let alone Al’s.
@@ajlogomanthecreepysusiefan5502 i think he killed 10 people, and the 11th skull was for himself
@@watermelonhead8054 that’s true, he did use his own blood. That’s sick but rather intriguing how he might’ve possibly counted himself... also you’re profile picture is dope.
The way he hang around the house for a while, wearing Al's clothes, didn't steal, reminds me of the guy who killed the Miyazawa family. Such weird MOs.

Yeah she looks hella sus to me
Robert Cooper is the name of my high school Social Studies teacher. He also won the Rock Paper Scissors world championship a few times

@@OliverLivesey28 who did you kill?
Pointing at the TV like that "Leo Dicaprio pointing meme".
Sorry I thought he was going to stop when he said “There are actual living people in the balkans“
The weirdest part is the guy putting on his victims clothing, sleeping in his bed and just living in his house. Why? What if the gf came home early? What if he had children or friends pop up for a visit? This guy is some sort of professional from another country-like a psycho spy character from a movie. Sad to say this is a very perfect crime it’s terrifying.
They all esc;and
if i murdered a person i would never immediately go out in public bceause people might sense something and help the murder investigation. besiides, if anyone wants to meet al, cooper can tell them al went to somewhere else because he was renting there and i dont hink anyone wants to look at the basement. Not sure why he wore al's clothes, probably because he wants to feel powerful over the victim and make it as an achievement, trophy, etc.
Maybe that's why he didn't kill him til the third meeting. He has a chance to get to know Al a little, learn the comings and goings around the property, make a little small talk, "oh, your GF is going out of town for a week on Tuesday," etc.
His wife probably thought it was her husband at first and... well you know wink wink
He had already tortured Al for hours at this point. He new everything about Al's girlfriends trip an the possibility of friends visiting spontaneously.
As for the question “why did he wait until his third visit?”
Al Kite was a friendly and chatty person. He likely let it slip that his gf would be out of town for a week and Cooper used the info to augment his plan accordingly
Plans
yhyh i was also thinking he was waiting for that. so many other loose ends tho...
Going a step further... if this was somehow a hitman who killed Al Kite because of his work it's possible he would have even known that Al Kite's wife was taking this trip well in advance.
Personally it seems most likely to me that he was killed because of his work some reason or another. Two people at the same company in the same department where a significant error occurred don't just get tortured/murdered in similar manners like that in such a close period of time.
@@S-K69 I feel like there's evidence for both a hitman angle, and a random killing angle. Why would a hitman expose himself to multiple other landlords? Thats an insane amount of risk.
@@ryanoneal8480 If it was a hitman wouldn't it be more likely though? If you disguise a hit as a random act of murder by a guy just looking for a landlord with an ideal basement, you hide the actual motive very well.
It’s scary to think that we only catch the serial killers who aren’t good at their jobs. How many do we not even know exist?
If he was a Hitman he wouldn’t have taunted the police, also he waited until the third visit to gain Al’s trust.
25 active serial killers in the us give or take iirc
@amp lol how can we even come up with a statistic like that
Only around 50% of known murders are solved in the US, and those are just the ones we know about. That percentage used to be much lower as well. And you can imagine that almost all of those caught are the less intelligent ones.
This murder is surprisingly similar to the Setagaya family murders in Japan, in both murders they stayed at the house doing things like eating and sleeping inside. Its actually scary because tokyo police suspects that the murderer was half asian and from Southern Europe which is what the person in the sketch kinda looks like and is from. There was even evidence linking his address to california.
The Hinterkaifeck murders in Germany also involved the perp staying in the house for a couple days. In fact, some people have called the Setagaya murders the "Japanese Hinterkaifeck"
It's always unsettling to know that people like "Robert Cooper" actually exist and you've probably bumped into people like this numerous times.
Anyone can be capable of anything, our conscious keeps us from taking the plunge. It's like if you ever look over a cliff side your can't help but thinking how it would feel if you just stepped over. At least that's what I think.

I think that he did it on the third visit because Al's girlfriend was away on a trip. It would've given him much more time to set his actions into motion. I'm not sure if he knew when or if she was going away but I think it could be possible.
I think the second visit, he hesitated.
@@chloel.8007 true. maybe he was trying to get a better feel for Al and the area too.
I have a feeling because of Al's happy go lucky nature, he probably told cooper about his girlfriend's trip and how long shed be gone. It probably influenced some of cooper's actions like why he used Al's shower and wore his clothes for multiple days. If he didnt know how long shed be gone he shouldnt have been so risky as to stay in his house for 2 days.
Perhaps he asked about her or she was brought up in conversation which could explain why he chose the third visit since he might’v known she’ll be away? 🤔
Yeah, I was thinking this same thing. He would know for sure she'd visit often and check on Al, but during this time it was a guarantee that he wouldn't have anyone check in on him, especially if they still saw movement of someone in Al's clothes passing by windows of the house.

This is incredibly sad. I can't stand hearing these stories of innocent people getting murdered for no reason at all.
Faces gone
Given the level of detail and expertise, this was in no way random. The killer's skill level was in the top 1% or 2%. I tend to think there were two possibilities for motive: a.) revenge for what the killer perceived as a grievance, or b.) he wanted information from Al. Considering Al's job and the places he had worked, he almost certainly had a connection to the intelligence community, even if only as a contractor with clearance. Cooper could have been working for any number of countries or intelligence agencies, given the large amount of nations with interests relating to the Balkans, Algeria, and nuclear energy. Some government agency knows the truth, probably several actually, including the U.S.

Was the killer taunting cops, or was he letting his employers know that he had completed his task? It could have been done as revenge, or it could have been done to disrupt the industry. It is a common misconception that no one is expendable, but when a person suddenly leaves a key role, this can halt progress or even cause plans to be scraped.
The other “attempts” to rent a room from other landlords could simply be rehearsals. The meticulous planning indicate that Cooper had made plenty of research, so why not about this part as well? The reason why he waited to the third meeting was most likely because he by then knew the girlfriend would be out of town. The murder seems personal, as in either for extracting particular information, a personal vendetta or both. I believe Cooper was military, most likely special forces. To assume that he had spent a long time in the US because he spoke good English is nonsense btw.
He sounds like military to me too. I googled Israel Keyes and turns out Keyes was a military member too, it might’ve been Israel Keyes after all.

I’ll speculate and say that this guy sounds like military.
My thoughts exactly. Maybe Al was going to leak something? Who knows
I don’t think it was him but Israel Keyes was in the Army 😭, ill say these two maniacs have a lot in common.
@@ea8455 bribery great
@@f554uv1 why kill him so heinously then? With a paper trail and all the visits to other landlords?
@@f554uv1 I’m certain it was some guy from the Balkan Peninsula region (Turkey Romania) targeting Al because he likely ripped some people off as lead project accountant in the nuclear plant in Algeria which is near those countries. Just knowing the Turkish Hezbollah foot thing is really the only thing to imply military training and really anybody could know that. With his other sloppiness I think it was just a guy in finance who al screwed who sent the guy.
If he lived in the house for 2 days, there should be hair, skin, and fingerprints all over the house.
Well it was mentioned that Robert Cooper did clean up the house after the act. So he may have cleaned up all the hair, skin and fingerprints. Like how he bleached the knives. It's like he made sure there wasnt a single trace of him left before he vanished.
You're right, wow.
@@ShOscar That's impossible.
@@ShOscar theres bound to be some piece. like hair in a drain. but now it doesnt really matter.
If he doesn’t have prior, then they won’t be able to do much with his DNA. Short of doing a DNA test on everyone in the world who looks like him, there’s a slim chance of catching him unless he does it again.
There is no freakin way Al and Lee didn't know each other, and they both knew something that was a big secret. There is no way you can covince me that they were both killed in the exact same way after working at the same nuclear lab. COME ON.
Great work BioJ
I don't think Kite's death had anything to do with his former job. I think this Robert Cooper realized that realtors are very easy to get to remote locations alone. There are a lot of things about how the real estate business is run that make it pretty ideal to find victims if you're willing to put in some effort... which this man did. Disturbing and terrible.

That CCTV image of the killer: the first time I saw those eyes, my first thought was KEYES. Holy cow.
Captain Keyes?
@@professionalbozo4396 Admiral Keyes?
@@the-letter_s no, I thought he was just a captain
@@professionalbozo4396 oh, i thought we were referencing fictional characters named Keyes that are in military positions, which, now that I think about it, are pretty common.
@@the-letter_s I see now that someone has never played the first installment of the halo series
00:20 Hot dam that's a slick intro with the light switch. GG m8
Al seems and looks like such a sweet guy this broke my heart he just wanted to make a friend and some extra money
My pp kinda hurt bc I used it to slam onto this vid notification durning PH time. Dropped what I was doing, no hesitation.

What a wonderful thing to listen to while I'm in a lighted living room
But you’ll have to go to bed...
Pause it and go to the unlighted basement to watch for best effect.
the scariest thing is this probably isnt the first or last time hes one this, and hes so good we havent been able to connect the others.
The murder of Oakey Al Kite should get featured on the ID channel show In Pursuit with John Walsh to help spread more awareness of this unsolved case and to help generate more tips and to help get justice for his family
Gahh, you post at the best times I swear. Just got a pizza ordered and I planned to just chill and watch CZcams, nice
That sounds really nice lmao
What kinda pizza? 🍕

I'm already filled with anxiety alone in a studio that is supposedly haunted and this pops up-- hooray!
You eat poopies :3
That sounds cool but here I am, im watching this while eating microwaved scarface in an unrenovated kitchen
if it's haunted, that means there is an afterlife, which is great news!
Its a studio that used to be a bar in the late 50s early 60s so what ever lives here likes music to play and if it isn't hearing any when someone is here it gets cranky
There are *no* ghosts. You are experiencing exposure to infrasound, most likely from a defective appliance, or a electromagnetic field.
Both phenomenons are known to cause psychological and physical harm to the human body. Anxiety, paranoia, the feeling of being watched, depression and suicidal thoughts. An electromagnetic field can cause electrical disturbances or induce nausea, illness, night terrors, sleep paralysis, audio-visual hallucinations, seizure or even death in those hypersensitive.
There are *no* ghosts. Death is dead. If your 'ghost' isn't Number 1 or Number 2, it's a grift.
If he tried taking out more than $1000 it would've raised a red flag. He got out as much as he could without raising immediate suspicion. Dude knew his stuff.
Hey, I have been binge watching your videos
Really loving the new direction you've been going in. Your content has always been good, but you've really honed in on your craft, and it shows.
Mike Emert's killer also said he was from "back east." He didn't speak with a Romanian accent but one person who heard his voice said it sounded like it was being put on. Make of that what you will...
i feel like whenever there is a slight suspicion that a murder is committed for the purpose of extorting secrets or supressing them the family always comes out saying the victim wouldnt have known anything, but would they really be sharing it with everyone?
It’s so haunting when he looks at the security camera when at the atm
