- 212 Ghost VS 206 Briggs & Stratton PT1
Tested the 212 Ghost-powered Azusa minibike from zero to 30 and top speed and then swapped out the 212 GHost engine for a 206 Briggs and Stratton engine and ran the same test to see if there was any difference in performance between the two engines.

Great video as per usual! Can’t wait to see how the Briggs responds with modifications
Thanks! Ya, me too...
@@Black66any videos on animal engine
I would like to see some other 206 Briggs & Stratton videos awesome videos
Me too!
4.46 not too shabby that airplane sounded like it had a racing ww2 motor in it lol
Finally. This is really interesting. The actual competition is a LO206. The stock Briggs is for the GX200.
Maybe go a step further and test the World Formula 😳
I was thinking the same
I recently took a Briggs LO206 & Installed all World formula parts……This motor build was sent from heaven
I put a stock Briggs model 15 motor on my GTS 6" wheel bike with the 4:1 gear. ran pretty good but I didn't have the governor bypassed. Carb crapped the bed after sitting a couple weeks. Thing was neat, when you wanted to cold start it, just plug in an extention cord and hit the starter button.
I was so happy to see u in Compton
Thanks! It was fun going down there. I'll have to do it again.
I can't wait to see u do some stuff to it
great vid.
I really like seeing the comparison using a Briggs engine. Different cam and springs would be a cool mod and tuning of the carb! The header pipe looks good. ✌🇺🇸
But wear does one get a cam and springs for this engine?
@@kevinjohnson9372 I believe ARC has them.
Nice video. I got one of these 206s sitting on the shelf. Im gona wait and see how it does with mods and probably start prepping it to replace the 196cc on my mini bike.
Yet another great video...that engine looks like it was abandoned in someone's back yard! 😆😘👽
For the price of the ghost and the accessories the predator224 seems like a better starting point especially if one can catch it with a coupon, or membership deal.
Yes, check out the 224 playlist for the 224 build. Thanks for watching! czcams.com/video/SaxCCoqJ0RU/video.html
I was lucky enough to get a Ghost for $225 before tax etc when they first released, but I don't have much to compare it to for power unfortunately.
I just got done building up a Briggs 206cc 6.5 off a pump.... A lot of people don't care for the Briggs anymore... I also have a flat top that runs on alcohol that I plan on finding an older mini bike or go cart frame for...
Love the flat head Briggs. We used to race them back in the 1980's running methanol with Horstman billet parts , Tillotson double pumper carbs 👍
@@Black66 not many people do anything with the 206 or 208 Briggs and Stratton engines..
I have learned a lot from the videos you have posted and thanks again for them...
Thanks for watching and thanks for sharing the videos! @@andrewurban8583
I wanna tweek it like u did but maybe some timeing and shimmed valve springs then put in on my gokart
👍
With Briggs I would mess with air flow , port the head , gasket match , just everything flow. Then check them numbers again I bet you would be surprised
Black 66, great video as always! This video makes me wanna go threw my 5hp flathead briggs motor and test it on one of my bikes... Quick question, how was that 4:1 gear ratio on your mega moto? Was it hard on the clutch down low or not too bad? Im thinking of trying it out on mine, but im 185 pounds and not sure how it would be? It has a highly modified 196 on it now.
Thanks! Love the flathead Briggs! It seems to work out pretty well. It's not the easiest on the clutch, but with my weight it's not too bad. You could always try it out just to see how it feels.
@@Black66 Ok👍, thanks for replying, I appreciate it!
lo206 vs ghost next
I turned my Briggs 206 into a world formula
I would really love to know what exactly that intake came off from what exact engine and what size because I have the same exact Briggs & Stratton style engine but it is a 250cc and I am currently installing it on my Coleman b200r
I love this I have one set aside that I once had running and yeah I guessed valve float around 46 4700ish rpm
I have a 196 Cc and I removed the governor. What do you recommend me?
Я дома тожэ люблю мастерить подобные жилизяки
Updates on the QS120 bike? New rear sprocket? 75mph?
I have more gear ratio videos along with other tuning and race videos coming with the QS120 bike. One of them comes out this Saturday! Thanks for watching!
if you add that gopowersports muffler, wouldn't you get more top end since it adds back pressure?
Yes, good idea
Exhaust pipe or muffler? Because I know some people confuse the two (not saying you are)
Try a stock 301 please
Try Briggs & stratton 208 engine
so does that GhoST come with gov already m.i.A
Yes . But it does have the 6000 RPM rev limiter built into the stock coil.
@@Black66 easier changing a coil then a whole open heart procedure lol hey good vid tho man keep them tires hot !!!!
IM saving up for an electric minibike....nice and quiet so I won't upset all the KARENS in my neighborhood....like I care....lol
Нечево непонимаю чё говорит😊
206cc at 5000 RPM GET IT RIGHT.
