Animal also has a different coil rev limit is 12. K rpm blue in color lo206 is green and rev limit is 6800rpm
Good video, you should mention to look for the orange seals. The silvers are expired for racing
This is good to know, thank you. Is this due to engine age? What’s behind expiration?
@@KaizTheKarter yeah orange seal started in 2020, so silver seals are older than that and no longer legal for racing.
@@cgs4706 Interesting….good to know. Thanks for the insights.
Super helpful video! Thanks a lot.
lo206 animal has a lil higher compression out of the box most are sealed , but it is a different class even though its a 206 motor
I am still confused about this becuse my local club's rules for lo206 speocically say "Non-Animal"
So I think my club is mistaken here?
It’s all about the seals. Even if the motor says Animal, if you have the seals (holographic), you should be set.
@@KaizTheKarter Thank you, thats kinda what I figured.
Keep up the content I am enjoying it.
Thanks for the encouragement! I’ll add too per one of the other comments below that the orange seals are the more current ones. The holographic ones are expiring. Either way, that’s the key.
