Just got home from a hike and I appreciate my body feeling used.
That was a nice and much needed mental break this weekend, thank you. We're in the process of moving house (not voluntarily, I might add), so I haven't been able to enjoy my current or my new garden at all and I've noticed I've missed a lot - like the gorgeous, tall lilac at the new house flowering or the sudden explosion of growth in the berry bushes.
Something from my right now that has surprised me is how much sand my cat has managed to spread in my bed, even though we have no sand in the garden. And something I appreciate is being able to go through the rest of the day slowly and without hurry. Phew!
For myself, right now means taking the time to just sit and admire the new bits of growth on every plant around me. I live in the desert, so what surrounds me is very different from many other people, but it's beautiful none the less. Tiny buds and flowers on a plant that I never had the chance to see up close before today. That's my now.

As you may know already, I'm in NYC, and everything is the same day in and day out. The turn of the seasons is noticed mainly by the difference in temperature because of a lack of "nature." My daughter and I decided to go out for dinner, and I noticed "nature." Some flowers, some trees, for a moment I thought I was lost đ What happened was that I took a different street to get to the restaurant, only one block away from home. I stopped various times to notice the colors of the flowers and the tree with nice smelling flowers. It's just a turn of a corner, and life was different đ đ đ
A simple turn!, an unfamiliar road, a chance to see the world fresh!
So maybe a few less familiar turns?
I wish you donât feel you need to hide and know how powerful you showing up and Being in your powerful can be such potent medicine.

Iâm struggling with getting off of the hamster wheel and stopping the futile and never ending effort of trying to conform myself into what everyone around me wants me to be. I recently turned 60 and Iâm so tired of these old roles. I just want to be me, by myself, for a while. Your recent videos are helping me. Thank you.đ

I appreciate being able to see the beauty and magic in slowing down and enjoying the here and now. I learned long ago that the joy for me was in the journey, not the destination, and that is as true now as it was then. You have such a beautiful space to be in, with all of nature and the Goddess at your door step! I am so happy for you. You seem to be in a transitional state, and those always feel so uncomfortable to me. I hope you can just sit and breathe and take it in and enjoy. Maybe let the change come to you and see how that feels. If it doesn't work for you, you get to try something different, or go back to charging after it again. Love and Blessings.

I've always had a slow, steady, thoughtful pace. I always felt guilty that I was moving fast enough. As I'm getting older, I'm starting to appreciate myself as I am. I may not be the first one done, but I'm going to enjoy the journey and appreciate my accomplishment when I get there. Thanks for a lovely video!

Iâm a doer, too, but in the last few years becoming a grandma has taught me to forget about my to-do list and focus on the present time with my precious boys because I know how fast it goes.
I get to see my grandkids next week. I know what you mean. They give me license to just be with them and enjoy their precious perspective on life!
