My channel is dedicated to sharing my personal experience as I explore witchcraft that arises from my connection with nature. Green witchcraft, herbalism, folk magic and natural magic.
As someone who needed disability at one time, what you do to help those folks is SO important. I am glad it is now starting to bring you joy.
It really does. Pushing paper has little meaning, but people really count!
Love this! Added some to my wishlist!
Yay!
Weyward is on my tbr
Worth the read
reconnecting with nature and my witchy self. Thank you for sharing.
Wonderful!
I added the Seasons book to my wishlist as you were talking about it. You got me interested. I'm not Wiccan, but I have and love the Campanelli books. And I follow the seasons closely. So it only seems natural to add this one to my library. Thank you!
It is a wonderful and inspiring read.
Always so happy to see a post from you! Love your “books reports.” So inspiring- hard to know where to begin. 😊 Thank you. 💗
You are so welcome!
So glad I found you❤
Welcome 🌸✨️🌸
Loved this! Thank you! Put several on my wish list.
So glad!
A wonderful list of books. Thank you for giving your opinion on these. I have put a couple in my Amazon basket.
You are so welcome!
What a lovely selection of books. Do feel that I could do with reading something fluffier after buying a whole selection of Gemma Gary and other Traditional Magic Books. Thanks for showing us your book collection
Oh! do I know what you mean! I have a bunch of Gemma's books, lol. Light can really spark the creative side of you and get you weaving your own magicks...
I LOVED this non-vlog bookish chat about your inspirational books that feed your magical life! I love your vlogs; they are gorgeously produced and absolutely transporting but I can imagine how much time and energy they take, so take a break April and absolutely, pleaseeee do more of these kinds of talks and reviews of books, and anything else (art, media, culture or life experiences you've had that inform your magical world). Totally here for it.
I am a visual artist and so a lot of the books on my towering night table book stack are art-related: Bound by Rachel Hazell, a gorgeous book on book making; Sigil Witchery by Laura Tempest Zakroff(she'd the featured artist at NWTS this month!); Spirituality of Rust. by my friend and Portland witch, Rio Wrenn (she is a natural dyer witch is one of my latest obsessions); many books on essential oils as I love to work with scents; I haven't dived into Wild Witchcraft: Folk Herbalism, Garden Magic and Foraging for Spells, Rituals and Remedies, but it''s high on my list.
Of your top 7 books, I have a whopping THREE in my possession! The gorgeous Witches Apothecary, Nature's Hidden Charms and The Holy Wild which is now moving up my to read list! I just finished a book of essays that I loved by the wonderful writer, Ann Patchett, While she is decidedly not an "out" witch, she is a magical person and a book witch, and every word she writes is a balm to my spirit. I read it in gulps this week as I was recovering from surgery and I felt better for reading it. I read anything she writes and she has a new novel out now, Tom Lake, the audiobook of which Meryl Streep narrates if that tells you anything! I have Wayward being held at Powells and I the Lost Queen audiobook borrowed from the library now. can't wait to get them. A couple audio book recomendations for you: Sistersong, Midnight Library(both incredible) and To Speak for the Trees (non-fiction and magisterial). See you soon I hope! Thanks for your rare and magical offerings!
I just listened to The Midnight Library! My daughter kept bugging me to do so. I was sick when I listened to it, and it was just what I needed.
I hope you feel better soon.
I'm going to have to bring my production level down if I'm going to continue, so I'm glad to hear you like this kind of video!
I read Weyward earlier this year and it is amazing, I loved it! I’ve owned The Holy Wild for several years but have not picked it up yet, you’ve inspired me to do that now. I have also added a couple new books to my list from your recommendations. I always love to find interesting new books, so thank you!
Looks like we have very similar tastes!
Came looking to spend some magical time with your unique 🧙🏻 energy out in nature. On this Beltane.
Blessings for high vibration of opening up showing your unique inspiration and magical practice.

I have to say that the part where you talk about how to make mundane things like a job, magical, resonantes with me at such a deep level, i work a 9 to 7 job at a aluminum and glass distributor and most of the time i get bored, and frustrated because i feel like i cant be my most magical self i wish i was doing something More magical but am not and i have to work with those feelings.
Make it a game. Find your magical self. Once you inject a little into your workday, more magic will be found!
Hi April I really enjoy the content of both channels! I’m very solitary in my practices and am always looking to learn more! I’d love to hear if you have any info or recommendations for books or otherwise on Hedgewitchery? Looking forward to hearing from you 😊
I have the Pagan Portals series on Hedgewitchery, and they are good little books to spark thinking.
I love this vid. Book no1 is gorgeous. I have just started Weyward and I love it. I usually buy used books but I just couldnt wait and gad to buy it. Thank you for this. I love hearing about your books.😊
So good! I was sad when it ended!!!
I really enjoy book recommendations and appreciate your feedback on this video. I completely understand it's not easy to make these videos and while I do not want to add pressure to you creating more content, I do have to say I get so excited when I see you have new posts! So thank you!🙏 I've already placed a few in my cart. I agree that the Witch's Apothecary is gorgeous! I devoured it as soon as I got it as well. Also hot off the press is "Heal the Witch Wound: Reclaim Your Magic & Step into Your Power" by Celeste Larsen and so far I am loving it. Would recommend!
Oooooo, thanks for the book recommendation. 💕
Thank you. I love the fox, owl and deer cloth you have. Where did you get that if you don't mind me asking.
It a tea towel I got in Boulder, CO.
Do you think the Holy Wild would be good/useful for someone who's a beginner to all things pagan and witchy but loves journalling and self reflection?
Definitely. This book brings you into exploring your personal power through story. You journal, and there are chapters with more hournaling ideas as well as magical ones. You can do as little or as much as you like, come back and try new things, or skip what doesn't fit. Just the reading alone is so thought-provoking!
@@naturalwitcheryoh cool, that sounds perfect 😊
Oh my God!! The Ancient Ways and Wheel of the Year were EVERYWHERE at local Witch Stores, I didn't get them, but I've been seeing Wheel of the Year and the Nostalgia!!!
Seasons of a Magical Life is on my radar so I will be getting those two in mid summer/early Fall, this year ✨️
Great selections and enjoyed watching this at 4:30AM before heading off to work.
Oh, that is EARLY! Seasons of a magical life is quite lovely 😍
I use local bookshop to me been around 50 yeads. They get most in about a day even witchcraft. Kemptown books st georges rd brighton sussex uk.
I am a traditional uk witch wizard been at this path over 10 years or more. No i am not wiccan.
Very selective on my books i get, as there is a lot of rubbish out there.
I agree that there is a lot of fluff out there. I love used books because I can get inspired and then pass them on to another.
So happy to hear youvsay you are buying local! ❤️
I have the holy wild on kindle and never read it. Thanks for reminding me ❤
It's so good!
