In this video ~ 7 Wonderful Witchcraft Books: My Faves Part 1 ~ I'm sharing seven wonderful books that make it to the top of my favourites list. I have found these books to be enjoyable, engaging and enlightening.
I give a reason as to why each book makes it to the list, and (on reflection) these books are particularly helpful to those just setting out on a Witchcraft path, or for those who need a little clarity in their work. There's something for every witch here, and everything else I'm chucking into Part 2.
Topics include Witchcraft History, herbal magick and how magick works.

I am going to have to rewatch this video...but, you're right about "The Witch's Bible"...at first it had an overpowering energy...but, I put it aside for a time..read other books then I went back to "The Witch's Bible".and everything started to make sense....💜seeing this on June 4th....awesome video.....but, I will be rewatching this video....
I think it's the title that makes nearly every beginner choose that book, and it IS a great book, but it can be hugely overwhelming to begin with. I think so many of us have done exactly what you have - bought it, read it and then gone back to it at a later date with an "Aha!" moment!!

Thank you so much! Sadly it washed out within a few days. It was bright purple to begin with! But it was a 15 washes colour. The pink hung around a lot longer than this purple did! xx
Thank you so much for your lovely video. I have Kelden's book but I have not read it yet. I have read a brand book called WOODEN BOOKS and they are written by different Authors, the one I have just read is by an author called Danu Forest called Nature Spirits Wyrd Lore & Wild Fey Magic it's a lovely book with beautiful illustration's. It is a small book in size. 🥰 the next book I am going to read is by Marian Green called Charms, Talisman's & spells. I love your hair colour.🥰💐🍄🎃
I'm intrigued by Wooden Books - they sound awesome! You won't be disappointed by Kelden's book, it made a lot of sense to me, I really think you'll enjoy it. Thanks for leaving a comment - the Danu Forest book sounds awesome and I bet other people watching will invest in your choices!

Yikes I was interested in that Glennie Kindred book but the paperback of the updated version is $60! I'll have to keep my eyes out for a used copy I guess.
Really, that's insane!? I'm sure you'd be able to find a cheap second hand copy on eBay or somewhere similar that would be just as good. :)
Loved this video! I am always interested to know what people I know think of books. What do you think of Sybil Leek? I've read some of her stuff and find her interesting. I think I need to get a copy of the last book; I am in nature so much more when I feel spiritually connected. Thank you, beautiful Wren!

I'm still working on finishing reading The Witches Guide to manifestation by Mystic Dylan. Still have a pile I haven't read. Including The Minful witch (a journal) by Jenn Steven's and reading and using The Witches book of self care by Arin Murphy Hiscock.
I have the one by Arin Murphy Hiscock but will have to check out the others you've named. :)
Scott Cunningham Wicca: a guide for the solitary practitioner is the first book I bought. Read it twice. I should get it out and read it again, it's been awhile. The second book I bought is Celtic Traditions, druids, faeries, and Wiccan rituals by Sirona Knight, my fave so far. I also have The Empath's Quest, Finding your destiny by Betty Comerford and Steve Wilson (love this even I'd it doesn't count but very calming book and can feel calming energy when touching it) I also have a second book but can't find it and don't remember the name of it.
Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner is an excellent book. I'm going to check out the one by Sirona Knight you mentioned - that sounds good.

Traditional 🧹 witchcraft 😊 and druidry are not the same thing ?
No, I think most druids would not consider them to be witches, although plenty of witches (myself included) lean towards druidry and there are so many overlaps and similarities! I think this could be the basis of a great video!
