Been working on this video for the last 2 months. Saw that RealLifeLore also made a great video about it last week. I guess, here's my take on it!
The Infographics Show rather watch yours.
Your hardwork reflects in your videos. I never missed any of your videos. Watched em all.
Keep it up.
I was about to ask if you were a fan of RealLifeLore
Your videos are great I'd rather watch your videos any day.
Imagine committing the biggest heist in history and getting caught by a half eaten salami sandwich

I still dont get why Speedy was brought in if he was such a nerve wreck
Manpower I guess. I mean even with 4 people it took them 6 hours to open everything and then hour more to move those things. Imagine if they had one less person. It would probably push their exit time into late morning
I call bs on the manpower theory. Nepotism, he could be Notabartalo's son or a nephew.
I say he was there as nota bartolo eyes and ears .. at least if i was nota bartolo that's the reason i would plug him for .. now why a professional thief couldn't get a better person for such an important job ? You have to ask the man himself for an answer
He was probably just a normal guy who was a friend of him, and was asked to come along because they needed more to carry the money.
I wouldn't imagine a person called "Speedy" would be calm and collected
speedy shouldn't have become a thief if he can't control his guilt
he wasn't nervous about his guilt but nervous that they had all the evidence with them and didn't want them to be there and get rid of them as fast as possible
@@Bleiser3 no, if you listened it said Speedy got more and more nervous toward the end of EVERY job, so its something to do with the guilt, otherwise you wouldnt care.
@@annacoulon1724 I think it's more that he was nervous about getting caught. The more jobs you do, the more likely you are of getting caught.
@@annacoulon1724 who even gets nervous when they feel guilty anyways that don't make sense.

My word! What an AMAZING flaw - the Magnetic sensor plates can be removed from the OUTSIDE! Mean, leaving the key hanging free for all to grab is also quite disappointing in terms of security. GREAT episode! (Wonder how much of the flaw in de safe detail are a little over done to keep it spicy?)

Sweating do not increase the body temperature, it lower (or stabilize) the temperature through evaporation, the heat of the body is often around 30 C on the clothes and around 31 to 34 on the skin, the face is often the warmest area with around 36 to 37 C on the forehead.
But if it was a setup, then it was the older man that was into it, he know that he would not be able to replicate the key that had contain some electronics too, so the real key that normally had been stored in a safer location was placed there to let them in and the alarms was already disabled and the old man did know that, the selection of a slower hand-drill was so he could chose what box to not open, and the boxes he did not open was the one where the diamonds where hidden. (That is just a speculative idea).

The narrator is the robber **plays ominous music**
Tea King in 2009 Leonardo met a journalist in prison and told him the whole story of the hiest.
actually there's a really well written article about it that have many details about the hiest that video didn't mention them. like when everything went South Leonardo's wife came from turin to destroy the evidence.
Thereâs this thing called âresearchâ...

Finding the original big key for the vault poorly protected makes it way too obvious. Clearly someone working in there fooled the into thinking they would get in and score big. Why else ask if it's possible?
"Due to the fact that the vault itself was uninsured, as the insurance company realised the security flaws and would have never given it an insurance policy, there was actually very little insurance money involved, which casts doubt on his story (about being set up for an insurance scam)."
cmon dont ruin your interesting videos!
