Thanks so much! had to go through many other useless videos of blah blah blah blah before getting to your short and awesome instruction!
That's what I was looking for. I tried the few wire combinations, and the phase wires check out fine. I'll be ordering a controller replacement now, knowing the phase wires are operating properly. Thanks again, Gary!
Late to the party but thanks bro saved me a lot of aggravation.
Thanks a lot, Gary.
Best regards
Thank you very much, Gary.
but what if i want too bypass the Controller and just touch positive too negative too get the tire too GO !! would it just be the Yellow and Green Wires !!!!
hi, a join two phase wires and resistance of movement was same as before...how to test properly if there is not any short between phases?
Thank you Man i have error 9 the same problem i try and check this tommorow thank you
Great video.
Question. When I do this test, I don't get any lumpy resistance. But, my motor runs fine and my hall sensors are not damaged after checking them. Should I be concerned? Any ideas? Thanks for video.

Thanks !
Can i fix that problems.what was the ways, pls help me
Does that mean they are good?
Is there a way of testing the wheel to see if it spins without the module hooked to it using the three wires? My e-bike doesn't work anymore and I'm trying to pinpoint the problem.
Thank you
Hello, i know it is a very old video, but i found a kit like this, with an external controller. It is a 48v 1000w motor, but i want to program it so it runs on 36v. Is that possible for that kind of version?
Thanks
Can I use crimp but connectors for the 3 phase wires ?
Did you find out the answer? Is it possible?
Hey how about you tell us what voltages go into the phase wires or is that a classified secret?.
Because I can’t seem to find out or none of these videos don’t tell technical details about it
Wow lights on nobody’s home
Is that with the battery plugged in or unplugged?
No battery. The motor generates power when you turn it (DD motor).
You short the phase wires ( lets say A and B ). The phase wires are connected to the coils. If you than turn the wheel you create current that make the coil become a electromagnet. When you short 2 coils and than turn the wheel, coil A will be "fighting" with coil B because both created a magnetic field. Like you are using 2 magnets and you turn their poles. The same poles pushes away. This is what is happening here. If coil A and B created a magnetic field than you know there is nothing wrong with the coils because that's what they are supposed to do.
@@Timo-Epis I was lost until your comment now I understand. Thank you
Hello
My motor is doing that without any wires connected don’t see a short
shorts can be internal to the motor. basically the windings.
Maybe you don’t know expose the fake people here posting videos that tell nothing
